My refresh button will not appear in 4.0, all I can get is a stop and home button, the refresh shows up in customize toolbar and I can put it up there, but as soon as I close it it dissapears, how do I get my beloved refresh button to show up?
At first I had the stop/refresh buttons merged, which I hated so I tried putting spaces and things between them to stop their unholy union, but instead it has now made my refresh button dissapear in anger for not being allowed to see that dirty stop button! I cannot make it come back! Even if I put it on the toolbar in customize and it shows up, the moment I close it it has gone again.
Firefox 4 uses a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end of the location bar.<br />
During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button.<br />
If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button.<br />
You can middle-click that Reload button to duplicate the current tab to a new tab.
To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

Recently, I partook in a method to finally get my iPhone 6 to appear in Windows Explorer so that I could import my photos on it to my laptop. When I did that, I set it to automatically open Windows to my phone's folder. But now, it won't appear in itunes anymore! I've restarted both my laptop and my iPhone several times, and uninstalled my iPhone from my laptop's Driver Manager and reinstalled it several times. I don't know what else to do! Nope, I tried several of those and they didn't work. I think the key behind my issue has to do with how my iphone now appears when listed as a driver. Instead of appearing where it should in the screenshots in the article you linked, it looks like this:
That does not look like how it appears in the article at all. I'm fairly certain I did something--heaven knows what--and it now appears like that. Worse yet, I can't seem to reverse what I did...I'm stuck! I don't know what to do! -
When pasting a numbers chart into keynote the refresh button will not appear.
I tried anything I read online, like saving the numbers file, having both of them locally instead of in iCloud... But there is no way the chart gets linked to numbers...
any idea? I really need this to work. I have a quarterly presentation with many charts and the idea is to have them all in numbers so that keynote charts update.

In my case, the work around is quite bothering... Many of the charts belong to one single table. With previous version, once updated the table, all those charts were updated in Keynote, now you can imagine how tedious it has become...

Purchasing more storage in iCloud does not give you more space on your phone. You need to free up space on your phone in order to update by deleting or syncing data off your phone. (You can check the available space on your phone by going to Setting>General>Usage). You could, for example, delete all your music, then update your phone and sync your music back using iTunes.
If you purchased the additional iCloud storage in the last 15 days by mistaking thinking it would give you more space on your phone, you can request a refund by contacting the Apple online store (1-800-MY-APPLE in the U.S. and Canada). -
IPhoto images will not appear in Media browser
After updating my iLife apps (iLife '09), iPhoto images no longer appear in my media browser. In iMovie, it just says "Loading iPhoto Images", but never does. I am using a Macbook with OS X 10.5.8 and 2 GB memory. Images will not appear in iDVD either. Anyone have any thoughts?
Do you still have the old library? Rebuilding it with iPhoto Library Manager would preserve most of your work.
This will creates a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I upgraded to iTunes 11.0. My iPod Nano 4th Version will sync, but music and playlists will not appear to manage and add more songs. Is there a fix?
If I go from 'Devices' to Summary and then Music, I only get one option-Sync Music,There is a box on this page but the options within it are grayed out. If I tick the Sync Music option I get this message-
'Are you sure you want to remove existing music,films,ect, from this ipod and sync with this itunes library?
'Music synced to (my ipods name) from other itunes libraries will be removed and items will be synced from this itunes library' I have only ever used itunes on this PC and the 'Manually manage music and videos' is ticked but
that must be a default setting as I haven't ticked it. -
The iTunes setup would finish (clicking the finish button and everything) but the icon will not appear anywhere in my laptop?
Try right clicking on your desktop then select new short cut from the drop down menu, find iTunes in the pop up window then click ok.

I have an Iphone 4, I have music files that appear on my phone that I want to delete, when I link it to my computer the songs on the phone will not appear in Itunes so I can delete them, Is there any way to delete these song off the phone without going through Itunes?
Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.
A replacement iPhone 4 is $149, but at least the whole phone is replaced. -
A lot of my songs, once put on the iCloud, will not download to my iPod. They are in my iTunes library, already downloaded, but will not appear in my library on my iPod. There is no common thread for the origin of the songs--many were ripped from CD's, others purchased in the iTunes store. Before I started using iCloud, all music in my iTunes library was on my iPod without any issues.

- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Your home button and power button are completely unresponsive, even when you attempt a hard reset? If so you will have to put into recovery mode and restore through itunes or possibly DFU if that does not work

Hi all,
My "achive as" button do not appear when im trying to save a scanned PDF document but only the "achive" button. Do anyone know why?
I have tried seraching the internet for answer but without any result.
A solution to the prblem is to press doublicate and then "archive" then i get the option to save in a specific loaction (notice that even after doublicating i don't get the option to archvie as). This is a quick fix but would like to know how to fix the problem probably.
Here is some background
-The problem also appears on exsisting pdf document and documents from other users.
- i open it in apple standard preview program
- The problem appaered 6 months ago after and general apple software upgrade.
- I don't have any "download" folder in my finder menu ( I don't know if this is a relevant information but could have somthing to do with the settings i.e. as administor even though it is my own mac).
Please help me before i will go completly CRAZY, it is super frustrating.

There is a problem with iMessage with what Apple says is a small number of iPhones and they are working on a fix. In the meantime try this:
1. Settings > Messages > iMessage = Off
2. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = Off
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
4. Wait for the iPhone to Reboot
5. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = On
6. Settings > Messages > iMessage = On
You may have to repeat the steps a couple of times.
