I haven't been able to download the latest iPhone update iOs 5 to my iPhone 3Gs and a network connection has timed out error notification has popped up the 4 times I have tried to download it. I bought the Nike sensor and iTunes asked to install the latest iPhone update, so I did. Computer crashed (blue screen appeared) - turned it back on, plugged the iPhone in and iTunes asking to restore the iPhone. It starts the restore process and than blue screen appears again. Now the iPhone doesn't work - tried to reset it. It says to connect to the iTunes, but every time I do this the computer crashes (blue screen). Help!!!

If you have not saved the document and Acrobat closed then it's not possible to retrieve the lost data on the pdf file.

3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits. -

I have had the same problem, so many apps do not work properly without it! Apple says the internet satellite, the Internet satellite says Apple, back and forth with the blame instead of fixing the problem. Have turned location on and off, reset everything multiple times ( lots of hours and bandwidth to download ), Siri is now working part time, I guess she has cut back her hours for the summer. Even in these forums was suggested to check with Skyhook who does the global positioning, and after hours with them, they ended up saying that they have nothing to do with it anymore, Apple does. All to no avail and much frustration! I wonder if this is happening with the iPhone's? i'd like to know if this is happening with others that do not use satellite as their ISP? That would help narrow down the argument with Apple vs. satellite. Fell for you! Someone please help us! Ta

Are the prompts you're referring to related to UAC? If so, that can be adjusted. Anyways, I haven't had a single issue with any of the machines that have been updated this week. This goes for Win 8.1 and Win 7 machines. :)
Since Wednesday I've had 3 different Remote Salesmen (Surface Pro 2 users) report that their computers have either crashed or have been giving annoying prompts for any program they've tried to run. Probably not related but a Windows 7 Pro user randomly mentioned that their USB ports stopped working after an update. On the Surface users I noticed each had a Windows Update installed on 7/14.
Has anyone experienced an uptick in Surface tablets or Windows 7 Pro workstations since the latest Windows update?

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > iTunes being set 'off' ?
