My sleep/lock button is broken and I am scared that if my iPod dies I won't be able to turn it back on. Is it possible to turn it on even though the lock/sleep button is broken when the iPod is dead?

he menu button of the ipod touch (4th generation) is not working and the service center of ipod is asking us to pay for the fixation of the said item even though it's still on warranty. this is the case number 215866894. Since upgrading to Lion OSX.10.7.3 I am having network problems. It changes my preferences even though I lock them. I cannot connect to the internet most of the time. How do i lock my preferences so the program will not change them? When it changes them it also freezes the curser where it won't work. I'm going crazy trying to fix this problem. Please help me!

how is my laptop working even though I spilled iced tea on it? The keyboard does not light up but works normally, and everything else seems to be in order! The front of the bottom is hot while the rest if mildly warm. I don't know if its going to have a problem in the future. Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous. Iphoto froze in the middle of an import. Had to unplug my phone and walk away for a minute while it was still frozen. Now it says it's importing photos even though nothing is plugged in. Now when I plug in my phone it won't import new photos. Also refuses to quit iPhoto, preventing me from shutting down/restarting my laptop and I'm starting to get worried. What do I do???

It depends on who's (Planners) work is more important and accordingly you should ask the person to come out from the planning book and ask another person to work...
If you want to know Planning book locking Logics then:
As of SAP SCM 5.0, the new locking logic liveCache Lock is available in Demand Planning (DP). The system can use this logic to more precisely lock data you are accessing than it can with the aggregated and detailed locks. The liveCache lock takes intervals into account during selection and evaluates for single values the first wildcard character (*) or the first placeholder for each value. You can activate the liveCache lock in planning area maintenance on the Locking Logic tab page. You can activate the liveCache lock together with the key figure-specific lock. -
I've been taking screen shots for years and opening them from my desktiop. Suddenly, today, I've lost the ability to open them. I can right click on the picture and do "quicklook", but that's it. They just won't open.
Similary, if I scan an image and save it as a PDF file in pictures, I'm suddenly not able to open it either!
Why?Move the com.apple.screencapture.plist file out of /username/Library/Preferences/ to the Desktop, log out and back in, and try again.
BTW, use the default 10 point setting for text. Your choice just wastes screen space. -
If i have Time Machine backed up on an external hard drive, do i just plug the drive into another macbook pro and all my stuff is in the new computer? Also, does it matter if the new computer is running Lion when the backed up info came from Snow Leopard 10.6.8?

Don't use TM for this purpose, clone your drive to an external, plug the external into another MBP and reboot from it. Please note that booting a machine that came with Lion may not be possible from a drive with Snow Leopard.
