N85 -"call" shown when someone rings the phone
Have got this as my work phone, Ive been with nokia all my life and have never come across this. I have looked over all my settings and now im a little baffled. The phone I ring from doesnt have its number set to private, and is stored in my phonebook but when it comes up as an incoming call it displays "call"

We fixed the problem! Ok, so here's what happened for us:
When I signed up the contract, I didn't check the "Incoming Call ID" box... Simple as that.

Everytime someone rings my sisters N95 it comes up 'No Number', I'm not witholding my number when I ring the phone... its every single call... getting very frustrated when we miss a call, we cant find out who it is.... The usual cause for errors is that the security question responses are case sensitive. If case sensitivity is not an issue with your answers, see the last step in the attached section of the article below.
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

I have a IPhone 5 and Iphone 5s, each phone is activited with a different service provider. Both are set up with the same account ID and running IOS 8.0.2. When the phones are connected to the same Wifi at home, both phones will ring when someone call in to one of the phone. Hence you do not know exactly which line the caller called. If you answered using the wrong phone, then anyone calling the other number will not get through. Anyway to solve this problem?

Thanks for the question. It sounds like your devices are set up to use continuity together. Specifically, it sounds like you are signed into the same Apple ID in FaceTime, and have iPhone Cellular Calls enabled. To resolve your issue, simply disable this setting:

This afternoon my speaker on my phone stopped working. I can not hear it ringing when someone call, but if I see someone calling and I answer the call they can hear me and I can hear them fine. I also can't not put the caller on speaker at all , I also can't hear my music or gaming apps. When I turn my phone on or off it does not make a sound as well. I have turned the phone off and turned it off by pressing the top button and home button at the same time and that did not work. I checked the volume and the mute button and the volume is up all the way. I don't know what else to do can you please help me?
I have had this happen to me on 3GS, 4 and 4s. Usually the solution is one of the following:
1- If your volume indicator says headphones even though they are not plugged in, then:
Stick your headphones into the headphone jack and then remove quickly.
2. If that does not work Power your phone off. Then when restarting Reset the phone by pressing the home button and the power button at the same time until the apple logo appears.
3. Make sure you have not chosen to send audio to an Airplay device such as Apple Tv.

I just reset my iphone. Now there is no pic shown when someone calls me. Not even the thumbnail

Is there a phone number where I can call someone? The phone number in your web page is missing a number. it is listed as 1-800-426-570? One number missing. I just paid with my credit card online for photoshop and it is not allowing me to log in in order to download.
If I click on the adobe.ly link Rajshree gave you, above, there is a phone number at the bottom of the Customer Support contact webpage.
This is the number I see when logged in with an AdobeID associated with the US is:
800-833-6687
It is possible that you are somewhere else in the world and the webpage is smart enough to give a different phone number, so the number I see may or may not be applicable to where you are.
It also may be advisable to use the Chat instead of the phone, because it may be easier to understand what someone is typing than trying to interpret their English through whatever accent they are speaking with. -
On an iphone 4s, when I tap the phone number in my contacts list instead of calling the number it goes to a "Welcome to mail" screen with icloud, Microsoft exchange, Gmail, Yahoo, Aol & Windows Live Hotmail listed beneath. How do I make it call the number instead?
Never heard of that. I suspect it thinks that's an email address and you're seeing that screen b/c you don't have an email account setup on your iPhone.
Assuming the number is valid, try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. -

phone works great but when on a call proximity sensor kicks in turns off the screen. When I pull the phone away from my head screen is still blank. The force hangup/lock is the only way to bring the screen back on.
I purchaged it before one month onl. So i wont understand how it comes. Please help me. I am waiting for you reply."Your face is so ugly, it broke your phone!" Ha ha. Get it? How I was joking there? About your iPhone not working correctly after... <sigh>
But seriously, you said the situation only happens when you have been on a long call, so maybe the iPhone is just autolockng? -
My iPhone has a protective cover on it and I carry it in my pocket a lot. Quite often when I take it out of my pocket the silent/ring switch is off and I am sure it was on when I put the phone in my pocket. How can this be happening?
Protective cover as in screen protector? This would have nothing to do with the silent switch.
If you're referring to an actual case though... take the case off and see if the problem continues.
It may be as simple as the silent switch being lose, which will require a device replacement to resolve. -
Hi. So I dropped my iPhone 4s on the floor, and now my screen won't display anything, but it still plays sounds, for example when someone rings or text me.
Please help me ASAp, and I will be grateful for any helpTry a reboot, hold both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, if it doesn't "appear" but does restart, does it then turn on?
If not, time to visit an Apple store genius bar and have the techs run some tests to see what is wrong. -

I bought my iPhone on Friday and when I tried to use it to make a call (after I had left the store) the screen had turned green - as if a green filter had been placed over it. When I turned the phone sideways the color turned to magenta. Anyone else have this problem? I plan on exchanging the phone but can't get there until later this week.

ATtempt to power off your device and power it back on, if that doesn't work reset all settings should resolve it for you

This whole security question crap is a hassle. If I wanted to talk to someone on the phone to have some dumb questions reset, I would call them. Why can't they just send it in my dang e-mail. So forget it. I'll just forego the purchase.
