N95 8GB problems, HELP PLEASE!

MY n95 8gb turns off by it self sometimes or ends calls within good range of an antena or most of all says the following message when trying to make a call: Connection error (no ring tones or nothing, i tried calling the provider company, switched the sim into another phone, and its not the providers error, because the sim card works fine with a different phone.
I have my n95 for 1 month and i never had such a problem.
another question: HOW DO YOU PERFORM MASS MEMORY FORMAT SO, after doing that my phone will be 100% functional but clean! ???

To format the mass memory goto Tools=>Utilities=>Memory=>Options=>Format Mass Memory
Also you can use these codes
*#7780# Factory Reset
or
*#7370# Format phone

  • Problem trying to conect n95 8gb to pc please help

    i am trying to conect my 95 8gb to pc useing the dater trasfer mode so i can add new maps useing map uploader when i conect the phone to pc in that mode it says the phone is running in a non compatibility mode and map updater cant see the phone.i had the same problem with old 95 but i just took the mem card out and put card in a card reader.now i cant do that with 95 8gb as no card to take out.im just starting to think i made the wrong choise now as i am stuck with a non removable mem card.it works with pc-suit ok and can see the mem in pc-suit i think it maybe my pc im running xp home service pack 2 aboth board software maybe its my usb ? .     Use the PC suite to update the phone. That should fix your problem.

  • Nokia N95 8gb problems - freezing, fuzzy screen et...

    Ok so been using the Nokia N95 8gb phone for about a week now and noticed that there is a tendency for the phone to freeze for up to 10 seconds like when opening other things such as Inbox etc. The problems mainly occur when the phone is slid shut, then when resliding the phone open the phone freezes or sometimes screen stays black until battery is taken out!
    When the phone is slid shut sometimes the screen goes fuzzy in places aswell like a TV with no reception. The text and theme on the phone sometimes goes a dodgy colour aswell like a negative photo and sometimes even goes back to front and the wrong way round?? Anyone else had similar problems or knows what this is??

    Its unlikely to have the same issue after doing a software upgrade, it could be some application on your memory card or the simcard .
    You may try the steps below
    - A soft reset by keying in *#7780# when on standby - This will not delete any data but will restore all the settings back to default.
    If that does not help then you may wanna try doing a hard reset by keying in *#7370# when on standby - This will reformat the phone. DO NOT FORGET TO DO A BACK UP AS THIS WILL ERASE YOUR ENTIRE PHONE MEMORY.
    The security code by default is 12345
    Also would be best to reformat your memory card and sim cards well as there might be some applications in there which is causing your phone to lag.

  • NO SOUND PROBLEM HELP PLEASE!

    i have a lenovo g580 and it has been owrking fine since i got it (christmas) until a week ago. 
    I turned on my laptop in the morning and i message pops up saying that it cannot connect to the dolby advanced audio driver, reinstall it if the problem persists. but startup sounds and youtube sounds would play, nothing else. so i turn it on the next day to fix it and there is no sound AT ALL. so i hover over the sound icon and it says no audio output device is installed. so i try to fix it day after day. then yesterday i turn it on and reinstall some drivers and stuff and now it says no headphones or speakers are plugged in and under playback devices, my speakers dont show up.

    Here,
    Make sure to un-install the Audio driver first under Device Manager
       > Open device Manager
       > Go to sound, video and game controllers
       > Look for Realtek High Definition Audio or High Definition Audio
       > Right click on it and select uninstall put a check on Delete the driver software for this device
    Check you Control Panel / Programs and feature / Uninstall a program list for any Realtek Audio and Dolby Advanced audio.
    Uninstall both
    If non then just proceed to the next step,
    Download and install this first
    Realtek Audio Driver
    0lau07ww.exe
    187MB
    After installation go to    
    Your Drive "C:" under My Computer then go to
                   /Drivers
                   /Realtek Audio Driver
                   /PCEE4
                   /DolbyAdvancedAudio.msi
    Install the DolbyAdvancedAudio.msi.
    Then Restart your computer and Check your sound.

    Hi,
    Is there any body experienced this problem. When I'm trying to delete a file from Video Centre > My videos directory, I'm receiving this error... "Unable to delete. File video.mp4 is open."

    Hi. I just brought nokia n95 8gb(Singapore model). I just updated my cell to 11 firmware. Now i have a big problem with GPS. I can find some satellites but i cant establish connection with them. How i can fix this problem? All the time if im going to google maps for example i can only see yellow blinking(satellite search) ...it never turns green...And i'm living in USA,New York. I tried differenet places and it doesnt work..Singapore phone doesn't work properly in US?

    Yeaaaaah i fixed the problem by myself. Make sure everybody check in GPS data>Options>Positioning settings> that you disable bluetooth GPS and Network based. Yessir.U can close this topic.

  • VIRUS PROBLEMS, HELP PLEASE???

    I continue to have messages popping up saying my computer is infected. It wants me to cleanup and I have to register with Mac Shield 2.6.  Pronograhic websites keep popping up.  Anyone having this problem?  Did not have this problem yesterday, but it's here today!  There is also a Red Sheild on the top of the toolbar where it shows the time, battery life, etc.  Right clicking on the sheild drops down Scan Now, Cleanup, Control Center, Scan, System Info, Settings, About, and Register.  A pron site just popped up again!  Need help Please!!

    Your exactly right, it is possible that if you visit a site and need the scripts to run for something that the malware that uses Javascript is on that site, then your going to be presented with it.

    I have an iPhone 6 and during the setup I must have did something wrong and now I have my old iCloud account on it that I no longer remember the password, security questions, and no longer have the email address to that account.  I think I was hacked and my password and security questions changed. I want to log out of iCloud and start using my current iCloud account.  I know these are security measures, but how can I get logged out??? My iPhone is having problems since the latest update and now I can't make a call or text.  I can't call apple support without a working number  HELP Please.

  • Soundtrack problems - help please

    Help please. I tried doing a send to multi-track project from FCP with the base layer video option and kept getting the 'error sending selection to Soundtrack Pro' message. I did a search and the suggestion is that I have no disk space but I have over 600GB!
    Then I tried a send with the full video and the file saved okay. However when I try to open the .stmp file, Soundtrack Pro starts and then freezes. I've tried opening in various ways.
    Help please, I just cannot figure this out! What am I doing wrong?

    Not sure how much help this is, but since you're having problems with the layout, did you try deleting the layout file? MacintoshHD/users/username/Library/Application Support/Soundtrack Pro/Layouts
    BTW, I found a BKiLifeConfiguration.plist in the following path:
    MacintoshHD > Library > Application Support > ProApps > Internal Plug-ins > BrowserKit > iLife.bkplugin > Contents > Resources
    Do you find it there?

  • Nokia n95 8gb problem

    HI i have a nokia n95 8gb and it enters in the gallery without me pressing any button.As soon as i unlock it it enters in the gallery.I can't even take a picture or enter the contacts because it kepps entering in the gallery at images and videoes.I tried updating the soft and resetting the phone but the problem persisted.What should i do?

    The only thing I could think of is that the Key that's next to the shutter key, the one that has what looks like a Play key is pressed in.
    This key causes the Gallery to start and show the last picture taken. It may have malfunctioned.
    You would need to take it to a service point or repair technician to take a look at it.

    I'm having a problem with INSERT statement.
    There is a "ShowFinal.jsp" page, which is a list of candidates who selected from the second
    interview. The user picked some candidates from the list and conduct the 3rd interview. After
    he check suitable candidates(who are selected from the 3rd interview) from the list , enter
    basic salary for every selected candidate, enter date of interview and finally submit the form.
    These data should be save into these tables.
    FinalSelect(nicNo,date)
    EmpSalary(nicNo,basicSal)
    In this "ShowFinal.jsp" page, it validates the following conditions using JavaScript.
    1) If the user submit the form without checking at least one checkbox, then the system should be
    display an alert message ("Please select at least one candidate").
    2) If the user submit the form without entering the basic salary of that candidate which was
    checked, then the system should be display an alert message ("Please enter basic salary").
    These are working well. But my problem is how to wrote the "AddNewFinal.jsp" page to save these
    data into the db.

    It is clearly that your problem is not on the database end, more like a servlet/jsp issue.
    I will not comment on the javascript portion, but rather the 2 jsps.
    a simple way to trace what's go wrong is to check the final result (the html code) of the first jsp (showFinal.jsp), and compare against what is expected by the 2nd jsp (AddNewFinal.jsp). Most browser do provide "view source" on the page visited.
    the following code

    would likely to be "translated" to html code something as follow:

    the second attempt to use String[] value = request.getParameterValues("ChkNicno" + iCounter); give Cannot resolove symbol :iCounter. because iCounter never defined in the 2nd jsp!
    Most of the error message do give clue to cause of error... : )
    not too sure on your intension, assume you wish to update only those selected (checked) row to db.
    some suggestions:
    1) <input type="text" name="ChkNicno" size="10"> </td>...
    <input type="text" name="basicSal" size="10"> instead.
    then use javascript to based on checked element index (refer to javascript spec for more details), for those index not checked, clear off the correspond index "basicSal" field value.
    e.g. ChkNicno[1] is not checked, empty basicSal[1] value before submission.
    This will give us only selected rows values.
    2) retain the code

    I am currently using Application Express 3.1.2.00.02 I have developed an online questionnaire with a multiselect list for one of the questions. The problem i am having is that i need each choice to be totaled up separately on the report generated.
    My table of answers looks like this:
    Column name e.g. (Question 9)
    Answer "Dog" "Cat" "Mouse" "Snake" (underneath column name Question 9 depending on what is selected).
    The reporting page would look like below:
    *(Column Question 9)* Count
    Dog 1
    Mouse 1
    Snake 1
    and for the question you could have another respondent who chooses similar of items on the multiselect, so their answer looks like this:
    Answer
    "Question 9" Dog
    "Question 9" Snake
    This would then start a new row on the reporting page like below which is not what i want:
    *(Column Question 9)* Count
    Dog 1
    Mouse 1
    Snake 1
    Dog: Snake 1
    But the report should look like this:
    *(Column Question 9)* Count
    Dog 2
    Mouse 1
    Snake 2
    The current SQLquery i am using is below:
    select "QUESTION 9",
    count(*) c
    from "P1 DQUESTIONNAIRE"
    group by "QUESTION 9"

    I have three ram(2x512MB single sided , 1x1GB double sided). Is there any way I can put them all on the motherboard? When I place them all the computer is not starting and it`s making a "beep" every 2-3 seconds. If i connect the 1GB double sided on the Dimm1(green) and the one 512MB single sided on the Dimm3(green) it`s working properly. Is there any way I can use all my ram at the same time. I`m desperate.     That's the rule mate which you need to gives all your component in details including your PSU and Bios revision so that others can help you! Like what BOSSKILLER say it won't works with 3 DIMMS unless you purhased another 1 GB of RAM then it can solve your problem with 4 DIMMS or else with 2*512MB RAM. Make sure that you've lowered your HT to <=800Mhz as default is 1000Mhz. GD luck.

    I have an N95 RM 1, and it wont power on properly. It just sits on the nokia start up screen and vibrates, continuously in one long "brrrrrrr ". I have tried the hold 3 * and green key but to no avail, but am I doing it wrong? I just hold the keys, then switch it on and hold for about a minute before giving up. Its not recognised by windows cause it wont start. Any suggesstions?

    The 3 finger deep reset can be difficult to execute properly. Have a read of the instructions below and see if you are doing it correctly.
    Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.
    Before you reset, remove the battery for at least 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference. Also try removing the memory card.
    Then try the "3 finger deep reset". With the phone powered off, depress and hold these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone using the on/off button whilst keeping the three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
