De-activeren en volledig verwijderen van versie 11 PSE en PRE na installatie van versie 13

Onlangs kocht ik versie 13 van PSE en PRE. Ik had vroeger reeds versie 11 aangekocht. Na wat testen besloot ik over te schakelen en de vorige versie 11 te verwijderen van deze computer. Bij het verwijderen van PSE11 scheen alles vlot te verlopen maar blijkbaar staat de lijn nog altijd bij de geïnstalleerde programma's. Als ik opnieuw tracht het programma te verwijderen krijg ik het bericht dat men alleen geïnstalleerde programma's kan verwijderen, maar waarom blijft het dan staan tussen de andere programma's. Ook in de systeem map "Program Data" "Adobe" "Photoshop Elements" staat er nog steeds een folder van meer dan 650 MB. Kan ik die map zomaar manueel verwijderen? En gaat dan die lijn uit geïnstalleerde programma's ook verdwijnen?
Bij het trachten te verwijderen van PRE 11 loopt alles tot vlak bij het einde, waarop ik een pop-up bericht krijg "Fout 1316: de opgegeven account bestaat al". Uiteraard bestaat die account vermits ik een Adobe-Id heb en dat al mijn producten geregistreerd zijn op mijn account. Als ik op dit bericht ok klik dan wordt de "verwijdering" volledig teniet gedaan. Hoe kan ik beide producten volledig van mijn pc verwijderen?

I tried again and got the same answers from the program. I know and use
CCleaner, but when you try to uninstall an Adobe Product from CCleaner
"Tools" it is the same Adobe tool that takes the hand as when I try to
do it from "Control Program" "Installed Programs". So it is normal that
I get the same answers there too. What is strange and what you can see
on the hereby included screen prints is that in the CCleaner Tools the
PRE 11 is even mentioned twice. In CCLeaner I could eventually "delete"
the registry entries but that will certainly not un-install the PSE 11
or PRE 11, and they will continue to take a lot of unnecessary space on
my hard disk.
While looking around I found that even in "Program Files (x86)" there
were serious "remains" of as well PSE 9 and Organizer 9, as from PSE 11
and PRE 11.
The last time I tried to un-install PRE 11 and the message "Error 1316"
appeared again I stopped the program by deleting it from the "Program
Manager". When I try now to "un-install" PRE 11 from the list of
installed programs, I get the same message as for PSE 11: it is
impossible to delete a program that is already deleted! Why does it
still appear in the list if it is no longer installed?
Can I simply through the Windows Explorer delete all files and folders
related to PSE 9, Organizer 9, PSE 11, PRE 11 or will I get in serious
trouble by doing that?

Download and use Find Any File to search on your Time Machine volume for "Domain.sites2". The reason you can't find it via the Finder or Spotlight is because it is an invisible folder. Find Any File can search invisible folders and will find it.
It can take a while for the search results to finish but it will find them.
Select the newest version and drag from the search results window to the Desktop.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible in Lion or Mt. Lion enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

Ik krijg na het downloaden van i-Tunes (alle versies), de volgende melding: Het GEAR-stuurprogramma kan momenteel niet worden geïnstalleerd. Het gebruik van de GEARAspiWD-voorziening door het GEAR-stuurprogramma wordt verwijderd als het systeem opnieuw wordt opgestart. Start het systeem opnieuw op en voer iTunes opnieuw uit.
Als ik dan opnieuw opstart en iTunes opnieuw wil installeren krijg ik opnieuw dezelfde melding.

Why didn't you remove all three prefs.js files?
You may have left one file prefs.js that is causing the problems.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Firefox does not trust Google or Gmail

Firefox will not access Google or Gmail or even the bits of Mozilla needed for some support functions.
The issue seems to be an unrecognised certificate, tho' Internet Explorer has no problems with the same certificate from these sites.
I have read the various answers to similar questions, which talk about trying to get certificates from other sources etc, but....where? how? Sorry, but it makes no sense to me :-)
If Firefox can't even access Mozilla correctly, what hope is there for the rest of us????

Check the date and time in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.
Check out why the site is untrusted and click "Technical Details to expand this section. If the certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided (sec_error_unknown_issuer) then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
*Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.
If "I Understand the Risks" is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".
*Note that some firewalls monitor (secure) connections and that programs like Sendori or FiddlerRoot can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the website's certificate.
*Note that it is not recommended to add a permanent exception in cases like this, so only use it to inspect the certificate.

Can I get an older release of Firefox? 36.0 does not play well with Windows 7.

Firefox 36.0.4 does not play well with Windows 7. If it opens at all, it freezes within a minute so the screen goes pale and I get the classic spinning circle of death. Then the header says (not responding).
Ideally I would like to drop back to version 32 or 33, but 34 and 35 had fewer problems.

With version 11 however we have a single installer for all languages.
