I want to know wats the name of the package and the name of the class in java...
If anybody know please tell me which class it used for...
Thanx

I'm confused by these two parts.

I want to know wats the name of the package and the
name of the class in java...Are you asking for the class which opened the small window, or the class which has "any application"? How do you know that either of them was written in Java?
Not all applications are written in Java, so please clarify more than "any application" and "small window". Of those that were, most applications will have more than one class, and probably more than one package.

  • Getting 'binary name' of the package of  a given class

    I needed this for a kind of dynamic class loader, where the binary name of the package of an object was required. What made it more complex is that the classpath of the object is not the local filesystem path, where the java executable was invoked (such as 'bin' in an eclipse project)
    I searched the forum, and didn't find a solution that addresses all of these problems. Finally I came up with my own solution, and I'll share it with you (also because there might be some bright minds who can tell me it can be done much simpler (which I hope))
    @SuppressWarnings("null")
    public static String getPathFromClass(Class< ? > rootClass) throws FileNotFoundException
         String rootPath;
              // These are all the possible directories where the package root
              // exists (relative to where the java executable might be invoked).
              String systemPaths[] = {"bin", "."};
              File root = null;
              for (String systemPath : systemPaths)
                   root = new File(systemPath);
                   if (root.exists())
                        break;
              if (!root.exists() || !root.isDirectory())
                   throw new FileNotFoundException("No package root found");
              rootPath = root.getAbsolutePath();
         String localPath;
         try
              localPath = new File(rootClass.getResource(".").toURI()).getPath();
         catch (URISyntaxException e)
              // Should never happen; Hack to prevent unjust error.
              localPath = "";
         if (!localPath.startsWith(rootPath))
              // What's going on ??
              throw new FileNotFoundException("Class' local path not inside package root");
         return localPath.substring(rootPath.length() + 1).replace(File.separatorChar, '.');
    }Example:
    main class is in c:\projects\test\bin\test\mj\foo\Main.class (package declaration sais "test.mj.foo".)
    java.exe is executed from c:\projects\test\
    calling this method with an instance of the Main class returns: "test.mj.foo".

    As far as I can tell it just returns the package root (such as "c:\projects\test\bin"), but because of that, it does greatly simplify the first part of my function. Thanks.
    String rootPath = new File(rootClass.getProtectionDomain().getCodeSource().getLocation().toURI()).getPath();
    String localPath;
    ...A binary name (as mentioned in the Java Language Specification) is a representation of a fully qualified java class, such as "java.lang.String". A "binary name of a package" as I mentioned is just my way of meaning anything like "java.lang".

  • Output error:the name of the package "greet" does not reflect the location of this file...

    output error: The name of package 'greet' does not reflect the location of this file. Please change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file. C:\Documents and Settings\Igal\My Documents\meiran\greet\Greeter.as
    I keep on recieving this output error although my source path is set to C:\Documents and Settings\Igal\My Documents\meiran\greet.
    any suggestions why this happens?

    The classpaths you define in your Flash software tell the compiler where to look when it needs to find a class.  According to your as file, the very top line indicates the Greeter.as file should be at a location specified by the path...
    one-of-your-classpaths\com\example\quickstart\
    So if one of your classpaths is:  C:\Documents and Settings\Igal\My Documents\meiran\greet\
    and you placed the file in the greet folder, then in your AS document you should not have the "com\example\quickstart" and your import statement in the fla should not be using that (should just be... import Greeter;)

  • Can't find code for std web dynpro app but can seeit's name in the package?

    Hi All,
    We're using ECC6 and EPP 7.01 SP4.
    We've recently uploaded some new packages.  Within one is a Portal Buyer role (1.4).  I would like to access the code for one of the standard web dynros.  I retrieved the name of the application from the iview in the portal.  But when I input the application name in se80, it said it didn't exist.  But yet when I look at the package, I can find the application I want in there but it's not in the interface folder, it's in the Applicat. folder.
    I'm new to web dynpro so apologies if it's a stupid question but.. Why is it like this?  What is the difference between an interface and an application?  Is it possible to access the code of the application?
    Package = MMPUR_UI_VIEW
    Application name = MMPUR_UI_PR_APP
    Any help, would be great as I'm totally stumped.
    Thanks in advance,
    Liz.

    Found the component name from the application.  The application is just a link to a component/interface.

  • The package name in the java files are modified

    Hey All,
    After creating a Portal Web Project, I imported the existing web applications to Weblogic Workshop. Then I found that the package names in the Java source codes are modified. The <folder name>. is added to the existing package name.
    For example,
    package com.symphonia.script.engine;
    is changed into
    package ScriptingEngine.com.symphonia.script.engine;
    because ScriptingEngine is the folder name.
    The package name of some other Java codes are doubled.
    For example,
    package symphonia.util;
    is changed into
    package syms-util.com.symphonia.util;
    Are there any ways to avoid this package rewriting when importing web applications to the Workshop?
    Thanks!
    Jeff

    To avoid path modifications add all 'base' paths(paths form which you will store the source code) to 'source paths' to Tools-->Project Properties-->Selected-project
    Then you add files/directories to one of the source-paths.
    They should not have any package modifications.
    HTH,
    Raj

  • Name of the current package

    Hi,
    Is it possible to a procedure to know the name of the package where the procedure is ?
    Thank you.
    Patrick

    I gave tom's solution a try and it had an error running in my db. I had to change the following line
    lineno := TO_NUMBER(SUBSTR(line, 13, 6));
    to:
    lineno := TO_NUMBER(SUBSTR(line, 13, 8));
    Any idea why? maybe because I am running 9.2.0.6.0 db?
    Not test this much, but since I changed the third param, mambe the second needs to change too..
    Thanks for the tips though.

  • [SOLVED] How to set the packager name for an AUR package?

    Hi,
       I'm maintaining an AUR package (fspcc), but I don't know how to set the name of the "packager" for that package.
    E.g. when you request info about some package
        $ pacman -Qi somepkg
    there is a line
        Packager: Unknown Packager
    that specifies the packager.
    How do I set this "Packager" info so that any user installing my package will see what I want?
    Last edited by lisztinf (2014-04-13 13:39:43)

    Thanks for the answer.
    I guess that when I run
       $ makepkg
    in my local build directory, then "mkpkg" will build a package with the "Packager" info set accordingly to my local makepkg.conf.
    However, I would like another user - with his own makepkg.conf - to see what I want when installing the package. How can I achieve this?
    If I install an official package - say pacman itself - through ABS, I see the "Packager" field properly set for that official package. But certainly this info doesn't come from my local makepkg.conf. I would like the same behaviour for my package. Is it possible?

  • Whats the package name ??

    Hi all,
    In a package can I identify the package name ? means when I am running mypackage.myprocedure , I want to display (or store somewhere), from the code, which package and which procedure I am running.
    Is that possible ?
    Is there any in-built facility for that ?
    E.g.
    If I run ,
    select user into v_user from dual
    You get the user with which you are logged in.
    Please help.
    Thanks

    you can use dba_procedures to find the name of the proedured in a package in 9iFnord. the poster wants to get the name of the package and the procedure they are currently executing from inside the procedure.
    It would be neat if Oracle offered this sort of function (like Java's reflection) but at the moment at least until 9i it doesn't.
    Any 10g whizzes out there? I know there's been some enhancement of the CALLSTACK; does 10g offer us anything like a WHOAMI function?

  • Query for getting all function and procedure inside the packages

    hi All
    Please provide me Query for getting all function and procedure inside the packages
    thanks

    As Todd said, you can use user_arguments data dictionary or you can join user_objects and user_procedures like below to get the name of the packaged function and procedure names.
    If you are looking for the packaged procedures and functions source then use user_source data dictionary
    select a.object_name,a.procedure_name from user_procedures a,
                  user_objects b
    where a.object_name is not null
    and a.procedure_name is not null
    and b.object_type='PACKAGE'
    and a.object_name=b.object_name

  • How to change the package name of Managed Bean class

    Hi: Gurus, when ever I create a new JSP page the Creator creates a code behind file with a package name untitled. Is there any way to change this package name? Can't the Creator gives us an option before genereating manged bean page to choose a package name? And then create the Java source directory structure on the basis of the pakcage name?
    Regards,
    Rashid.

    In the Project Navigator (default location is middle right), go to Java Sources, and you can rename the package ("untitled") to something else by right-clicking it or by left-clicking (just like Windows Explorer).
    I agree, though, that giving the developer an option during creation of the JSP page would be nice.

  • The package name The Gallbladder-4.itmsp contains an invalid character(s).  The valid characters are: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, dash, period, underscore, but the name cannot start with a dash, period, or underscore

    I have an iBook on itunes and I am trying to upload a new version of the book. I am following the workflow through iBooks Author and when I fell out all of the infromation for the package on iTunes producer i then hit the deliver button and I get the following error message:
    The package name The Gallbladder-4.itmsp contains an invalid character(s).  The valid characters are: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, dash, period, underscore, but the name cannot start with a dash, period, or underscore.
    As far as I can tell the file that is being referenced does not meet the criteria axpressed in the erro message and in fact that file has been created by iBooks Author so one would think there shouldnt be an error.
    I also get the following to error messages:

  • How to get the package name of a procedure used in a process flow activity

    Hi all. I'm on OWB 11.2.0.2.0.
    When I used a packaged procedure or function in a mapping operator, I can find out the package.program_unit name by getting the operator's FUNCTION_NAME property. For example,
    OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING '$mapName' OPERATOR '$operName' GET PROPERTIES (FUNCTION_NAME)
    But when the same is used in a process flow activity, I can't find a property name that will give me the same information. I can get the BOUND_NAME, it does not tell me the package name. It must be stored in the activity properties because when you pull up the Synchronize dialog for the activity, it knows the package name.
    Is there a way to get this via an OMBRETRIEVE?
    Thanks.

    ANA, this is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I saw REFs also in the OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING/OPERATOR syntax, but went cross-eyed trying to figure out if I could use the same there. The closest I found was GET BOUND_OBJECT.
    Thanks again!

    create or replace package Rewards_Summary_Package as
        TYPE t_varray IS VARRAY(6) OF NUMBER;
    end;You've declared your type inside the package. You need to declare it as a SQL type, which is not part of a PL/SQL package.
