Navigate to a page with this.pageNum

Hi,
I have a 3D PDF and I have added several other pages with normal text to this pdf. The 3D Media is on the first page. Now I'd like to navigate from the first page with Javascript to an other page.
this.pageNum = 3;
works for all pages except the first page with the 3D media.
When I am on the first page and call this.pageNum = 3; page zooms out and centers the 3D Media but doesn't go to the page 4. But when a press then the adobe button for going to the next site, the pdf goes directly to the fourth page.

I have to authenticate users via APEX (calling Microsoft Active Directory using the built in LDAP package) and then I have to navigate them to the appropriate Discoverer enabled Oracle user. This seemed to be the less painful solution.
These are simple end users, and reports are not that sensitive to justify more effort than described above.

I have an APEX page with a combobox (or radio buttons) where the user selects a value and by pressing the submit button the application is supposed to navigate to a new URL. The combobox (or radio button group) items are associated to Discoverer URLS and I would like the application to call one or an other URL based on the value selected by the user. The reason for wanting to use POST for this is that I would not like to expose the link, since it has a password parameter in it.

How to navigate to different page with different user name

Hi,
I have created a DB application....
My application consist of 4 pages.......
But if the first user logs into an application means, he needs to see only 3rd page
If the second user logs into an application means, he needs to see only 4th page.......
(i.e) 3rd page couldnot been accessible by the second user........
and 4th page couldnot been accessible by the first user.......
How to achieve this, i think i need to set some validation in the login page.....if so how to do that.....
it is an urgency....help me friends....

Suppose if the User A login to the issues page(via. login page) he needs to see only the issues page
if the User B login to the analyst page(via. login page) he needs to see only the analyst page...
Since User A and B have access to the application.....
But A should login only to issues page in my application and he should not login to the analyst page...
and B should login only to analyst page in my application and he should not login to the issues page...
For that where i need to define the post authentication...whether in login page i need to define.....
if so, whether i need to define sql query for restricting the users to the particular page in the post authentication...

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.

hi i have a situation where i have to select department name as lov and click button to navigate to next page and display information of that selected department in he next jsff page am in jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 how can i do that

the situation is
1.on page load i select organisationname in lov and navigate to next page,and able to display organisation details and child records details and child records details without a problem,

Can not create template based page with customized page type.

I built a customized page type (with persepective attribute) and wanted to build pages with this type. If the new pages do not based on any template, it works fine. However, if I wanted to use a template, the page type was set back to "standard"!
Steps to reproduce it:
1. create a new page type - test page type.
2. create a new template = test template.
3. create a new page - test page.
3.1 choose the page type to be "test page type"
3.2 fill in the form including the new attribute info.
3.2 choose the page template to be 'test template"
3.3 click finish
4. click the properties of "test page", it shows that the page type is "standard" and the new attribute information is gone!
If in step 3.2, no template is chosen, the properties of the new page shows the page type is "test page type".
I tried to find a workaround.
1. create a page with "test page type".
2. covert the new page to template.
I got this error message:

Build page with screen definition in XML using XSLT in ADF 11.1.1.x

Hi folks,
I'm figuring out how best integrating Oracle Policy Automation/Webdeterminations in ADF. My idea is that in a ADF Taskflow I first call a Init-session webservice on OPA to initiate a session with facts queried from ADF Components.
Then I would query a Determinations Server Webservice to get the next interview-screen definition. This gives me an xml with the definition of a screen to present. I could create an xslt that transform this to an HTML form. Then I would show a page with this (x)html form included in a container. The user could fill in the question-fields. Then on a command button I would read the values from the HTTP request and feed it into a webservice call to the Determinations Service.
Is a scenario like this possible in ADF? And could you give me some hints to get me on track? Or would you suggest otherwise?
The recommendation from OPA is to use data-adapters. But that are then java-classes based on an java-interface that are to be custom build on a datamodel. And I could imagine several security implications on that.

Can you use JAXB to unmarshall the XML document to a Java Class (and create a POJO data control out of the java class) and use it in the ADF pages as form or table or tree table?
Take a look at the following sample how an XML document having a schema associated can be converted to a Java class and used in the UI:

Use Exchange 2010 OWA Login Page with Exchange 2013

We are planning on upgrading our exchange server from 2010 to 2013. We want to keep 2010 OWA login page with this upgrade. Partly due to educating users to new OWA interface and no plan to upgrade to office 2013 anytime soon.
Questions:
1. Do you or do you not recommend?
2. Is it possible?
3. How to keep 2010 OWA login page during and after migration to 2013 (instructions)?

I agree with Andy David.
For additional information, we can change OWA 2013 back to OWA 2010 interface to use light version by the following steps.
Log in to OWA 2013.
Once logged in, click on the settings gear in the upper right corner, choose
Display Settings.
From the Display settings menu, choose Outlook Web App version, then check the box to use the light version.
Sign out of OWA and sign back in. Now it has the OWA 2013 light version.

Clueless with this little bug

I'm a little loss with this error. I really don't know where to start but, i'll try to give as much information as possible. I'm hoping one of you gurus can shed some light to the topic.
I have a page where I initially check if the page loaded from a post, with the following code:
if (request.getMethod().equalsIgnoreCase("POST"))
now the post is suppose to come from another page. The reason why I check if it's a post, is if in case a user tries to access the page without going through the first page that posts to it, i redirect it
so the if statement goes with an
else {
response.sendRedirect("firstpage.jsp");
return; }
if it's a post i continue drawing the page and showing my form. Now there are no problems when I send a post from firstpage.jsp. But the problems arise when I test my code by trying to go straight to the page by typing the address in my browser. I don't get a Java error but a microsoft internal browser error (ie 5 until now). I noticed that the error ocurs while loading an image from my header of the page. If it helps, my header is inlcluded.
Now I tried commenting the if statement, and everything loaded fine, even if try to go directly to the page by typing the address, but then I don't get to redirect. I'm really at lost here, can someone give any idea what it could be?

Ok now this is becoming annoying. I mentioned above that I took of the alpha code for my image links and everything worked fine. Well I made a new page and I have similar code. It looks like this:

The microsoft internal error occus when I load my left menu. My left menu is an included jsp file. Basically it checks who the user is and displays the appropriate menu. The POST comes from the same page. I have similar pages with this kind of design and everything runs fine. Does anyone have any idea why I get an error?
My page is basically divided into 5 parts. The whole page is made of a 3 X 3 table. The first row's columns are merged and the make my header. I include a Header.jsp. In the second row, the first column is the left menu, again another inluded jsp file. The 2nd column in the middle is my body, which contains the code above. The 3rd column is the right menu, which is currently empty. Last row's columns are merged and is the footer with another inluded Footer.jsp file.
I viewed the source when I got the error, the page seems to break in the middle of my LeftMenu.jsp. I was able to load the menu option, but when I reach the links, the HTML gets cut. I finished loading the header, but haven't loaded the rest of the parts of the page.
I really hope one of you gurus can point out what I'm doing wrong. I have pages that are the same, and things go fine. I'll go run through the code again, thanks again for all the help.

Is this library one that you've been using since you bought the MBP? If so and you're running iPhoto 9 then apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with
Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
