Navigation is not working in forwarded page

HI ,
I am forwarding one jsp formatted JSF page to other page . index.jsp to home.jsp like <jsp:forward page="jsf/home.jsp"/> .I am having some af:commandImagelink in home.jsp page which is navigating to other pages .When I am accessing the home.jsp page directly the navigation to other page is working fine but when i am going thru index.jsp then it is staying in the same page .
Please suggest me if anybody have some idea .

Dharmendra,
Are you using ADF task flows? If so, you won't be able to forward to the JSP page directly, but you would need to forward to the task flow activity.

Navigation links not working on some pages

Since updating to iWeb '08, I have had problems with the main navigations links on most of my pages once I leave the Home Page. I'll go to the site, click on a Navigation link at the top of the page, and when the new page loads, the nav links at the top of the newly loaded page (which are the same as the ones on the home page) don't all work.
Anyone got a clue?

That was a hopeful. But the graphic is NOT blocking the nav bar. I even went through all the pages to make sure it was out of the way.
Bummer. That would have been an easy fix!

Go forward navigation button not working from youtube homepage

I have FF 14.0.1
(Note this issue is present only with '''Youtube homepage''';;and only when navigating forward from its homepage.
The Go Forward button works fine on all other websites.)
Here is what happens:
I open Youtube homepage and click on a video and watch it.
I go back to the homepage again using the Go Back button
I cannot go forward to the video I just watched because the Go Forward button does not appear (as it is supposed to and as it usually does for me)..
Right clicking and using the Go Forward to This Page, does not load the forward page. Instead it just reloads Youtube homepage.
My system Windows 7, Home Premium, SP1.

Thank you. I will try the Rest and see. (Dell Drivers Downloads page shows that I have an update available for my Nvidia driver; it is a mega file and I have to download and do it when I have more time.)
But since my Firefox Go Forward button works with all other websites (and it works even on Youtube pages, once I am away from their homepage), I am not sure that the problem is with some malware.
As noted in the System Details (on the side panel to my post), I have MacAfee and it actually catches things.
Please note also from the System Details, I have the latest flash, etc.
And Windows updates,are up to date.

But this is not the worst problem I have with FF. My post that I still cannot find had to do with:
Scrolling distorting flash player window (Youtube, hulu, etc.)
I have had this problem since FF 13.0.1 update in June. I posted the issue under "badly scrambled images".
The advise from a regular contributor was to turn off hardware acceleration, precisely the opposite of your suggestion here.:(
I have added here the screen shots of this issue.
This distortion happens even with just starting the browser (so no bloated cache) and and even with just only one or two tabs open.
And I have also detected since, that sometimes switching to the the tab with flash will "imprint" the image from the my previous tab on to the flash player.
FYI, none of these flash player problems occur with IE9.
(I will re-post the issue again under a new thread. But I am tired of the solutions telling me to disable all the plugins etc. This solution does not solve the problem for me.)

Push notifications, I believe, is only for iOS.

UIComponent broadCastAction is not working in mobile page

We are using the broadCastAction in one of our critical flows to submit to an action in Managed bean but we are facing issue in our ADF fusion web app for mobile . When we create a page with mobile render option selected the broadCastAction is not getting triggered . broadCastAction shows null in the getter of BroadCastAction.

UIComponent braodCastAction is from javax.faces.component.UIComponent . It is used to invoke action of a UI component through Java code
if we have button like

Then through getter method of broadcastAction we can invoke the action of this button using the below code

you need to check whether '''jdownloader''' is compatible with the Firefox version you are using.
-> Tap ALT key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extension section -> check the Status of '''jdownloader''' extension -> if '''an update''' is available for this add-on then install the update -> Restart Firefox and check again check the compatibility -> if it is '''GREYED with Exclamation mark''' then it is incompatible with Firefox

ScriptLink tag not working for application page sharepoint 2010

<ScriptLink> tag not working for application page sharepoint 2010 for including javascript in application page, it appends either 1033 or _layout to path specified for javascript.But javascripts are located in custom document library on site and not
in _layouts folder.
Please help and explain in details as I tried lot on this.

Left/Right(Forward/Back) navigation buttons NOT working (do NOT change color/activate) in FF 3.6.12

Since the most recent FF update to the 3.6.12, I find that the navigation arrows (top left) which normally show/allow you to go back or forward in your browsing, are NOT active and do NOT work. Using default theme. Normally, when there is a page to the left or right )forward/back) of the current one, these will turn blue to show where you can move to. Now the are blank/white and do nothing. Same issue with the reload and STOP icons. HP DV9500, Vista HPSP2 X32, Norton 360, Roboforms, Google Toolbar. cable connect, etc. I have tried restart, cache purge, cleaned out add-ons, reibstalled FF on top of current app., etc.
Any one have any ideas or suggestion? I's appreciate the help.

Page navigation buttons not working properly

Hi,
I am having a multilingual Java Application (e.g. English, Japanese, French...). In this application there are reports which display the data using locale parameter (like en_US, ja_JP etc.) to display the data in selected language.
The problem comes up when I see Japanese reports on English operating system machine and vice versa.
When I click any button of page navigation it changes the page number but does not load and display the page accordingly.
It's like when I run the report it displays the first page, then clicking on Next button brings 2 in navigation field but the report would still show first page, same happens for 3, 4.... all pages.
The other navigation buttons also do not work, they change the page number but display only the first page.
This problem does not occur when I see Japanese reports on Japanese OS machine and English reports on English OS machine.
However my clients need the first case, Japanese reports should work on English OS machine also.
Please advise urgenly.

I resolved the above issue by removing the call to method setProductLocale in jsp file (which was really unnecessary in code as product locale is meant to set languange for crystal report design environment ).
Actually the problem was I had set locale at two place
1. using setLocale method of ReportClientDocument object) after the initialization of report client document object
2. using setProductLocale method of CrystalReportViewer object after the initialization of Crystal Report Viewer object
After commenting out code for setProductLocale, reports in all languages and all their functionalities started working 100% perfectly.

IWeb Page Navigational Links not working with Internet Explorer 7

I'm hoping someone can help me out here? My wife created her 1st website using iWeb. I am testing the sites functionality before we publish it. All the pages and links work fine on Firefox and Safari for windows. However, the page navigational links are not working on Internet Explorer 7. All I see is a dot to the left side of where the page links should be. When I start the site in IE7 I get an Active X script warning and I am asked if I want to allow the script to run; to which I reply yes. After I allow the Active X script the dot to the left side of where the page links should be disappears, but the links do not appear.
Is there anyway to resolve this? Most of the members of her club have Windows based PCs and are using IE7.

Yes, Javascript is running on IE7 and other java script applets appear to be working with the exception of the Navbar script.
It would be great if my wife's friends used a "real" browser, unfortunately 70% of the people on the web use IE7, so this is a real concern if we can't get this to work. I'v seen other iWeb site on IE7 that seem to function fine, so I'm not sure what the issue is here.

Forward button not working on last page of module with links

CP4 - When I have links on a page, I select the Pause until User clicks option on the click box for the link. This pauses the module until the user has an opportunity to look at the material when they click a link. The Forward button works fine when they come back to the module. However, it does not work on the last page of a module, Forward will not go to the next module -- the Play button must be pushed to Forward to the next module. I have the Preferences Start/End to open another project when they reach the end.
Can anyone tell me why the Forward button isn't working on the last page when there are links on that page?

I did a work around which is time consuming and inefficient. I duplicated the slide, removed the link click box and made the animations static. I also set the slide time length to 0.1, now the forward button on the previous slide works.

Navigation Handler is not working in jspx page..

In one.jspx page a scriptlet is written to forward the page to error.jspx. But it is not working. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Page Navigation Safari not working

Hi,
I am using page navigation but this is not working on Safari. Version 1.0 and 2.0.4 have been tested on OSX 10.2 and 10.4.7.
I am left with a page with nothing visible that I assume is meant to submit the form.
The source of the page follows.

OK, I see it. The bug is a second body tag at the top of the page.

Page navigation is not working

hi,
i am working on adf application using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.1g.
i have created 3 jspx pages.
one for inserting a Employee record to the database table(contains fields like name, employee code,address,status etc..)
and other 2 for searching a record and update it.
here i can successfully insert,search, update record.. But when i use a condition like update the record only if (status='pending'),it is not working...
i followed a procedure it is as follows,
1.I created a search page with a name search.jspx and added a command button in that to navigate it to the router.
2. I have created two more pages one for updation and one for error page.
3.in the adfc.config.xml , i have taken all the three search.jspx, update.jspx, error.jspx. and connected search.jspx to other 2 pages using router .
4. inside the router i have added a case like _#{data.untitled1PageDef.EmpDetailsView1.collectionModel.Status=='pending'}_ then outcome is update (where empdetails is my view object). or else outcome is error.
but when i run this application , it always goes to the error page, i mean the condition is never satiafied.
so if anybody can tell where i am going wrong, it would be appreciable.

There are two bindings--> 1. tree binding for searching the record. and 2. separate binding for status (attribute).
But when i used *#{bindings.Status.inputValue}* in the value field of an input text ,it is returning null..

Navigation bar not working cannot add a new one says there is a warning but does not indicate what kind of warning

In the space where you would add a widgit there is a warning so a new navigation bar cannot be added. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that did not help. When I pulishedd my website the navigation bar did not work. It only linked to one page but I cannot fix the problem because of the warning.

Are you creating a manual menu and while adding another menu item you are facing error ?
Please elaborate more as what are the steps you are taking and upload screenshots of navigation bar that you are using in design mode , if site is published then share the url.
