UIComponent broadCastAction is not working in mobile page

We are using the broadCastAction in one of our critical flows to submit to an action in Managed bean but we are facing issue in our ADF fusion web app for mobile . When we create a page with mobile render option selected the broadCastAction is not getting triggered . broadCastAction shows null in the getter of BroadCastAction.

This is working in normal page without "render in mobile" selected , we need a solution for it to work on mobile compatible page as well

UIComponent braodCastAction is from javax.faces.component.UIComponent . It is used to invoke action of a UI component through Java code
if we have button like
<tr:commandButton text="AutoSubmit" id="testCommandbtn" action="processMobile"
binding="#{pageFlowScope.mobileBean.braodCastAction}"
rendered="true" />
Then through getter method of broadcastAction we can invoke the action of this button using the below code
braodCastAction.broadcast(new ActionEvent(braodCastAction));
This is working in the normal jspx page but not working in a page where we select render in mobile

I found this strange glitch that wouldn't let me open my iTunes Store. I tried all the reset options and still iTunes would close a second after it opened. I fixed this. Instead of using the iTunes Store icon on your home page to open it. Go into music and click on store. It will say "Cannot Connect To Store". Just tap ok. Then tap on "featured" on the bottom of the screen. That will take you to the store front page. After that is loaded. Back out and the icon for iTunes Store on the home page should work just fine. Hope that helps.

HTML5 output is not working on mobile devices, including iPads and iPhones

I posted a question about this last week but had no reply. So I'm posting it again as it presents a serious problem for anyone wanting to publish content to mobile devices from Captivate 6.
The problem is that HTML5 quiz content runs incrediably slowly (it at all) and crashes the brower on mobile devices. I have tested this on an iPhone and 2 iPads in 2 different locations.
This is a demo that shows the problems: http://sshls-dev.port.ac.uk/captivate_problems/
(Running this demo on a standard laptop / PC will be fine and it will work perfectly. The problem only appears when the content is viewed on a mobile device).
The problem is more extreem in the 'shorthand' demo. The quiz loads up the first question and then when I press submit it either freezes or closes the browser (Safari) completly. Occasionally it will progress to questions 2 or 3 but then the same happens.
I am keen on finding an answer / workaround becuase at the moment it effectively means that Captivate cannot be used to display quizes on phones / iPads.
I would be very grateful if anyone knows how to solve this problem to let me know.

Just tested on an iphone 4 and it works fine. Please provide details for all the devices on which you have the issue (model type/name, os version, browser version)

Sub menu buttons not working on mobiles

Why are my sub menu buttons not working on mobile phones but working fine on computers?

You are using a Spry menubar widget. Spry was created pre-touch-screen systems and hence not designed for touch screens.
There are a number of solutions available to you
1. Don't have an active link on the main menu item
2. Place submenus in the page that is opened by the main menu item, e.g. as a vertical menu
3. Use Spry Menu Bar ver 2.0
3. Use a different menu system that is geared to accommodate touch screens
Because of the demise of Spry, see here http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framework-availability.htm l, option 3 looks like the best option.
There are a number of free-of-charge jQuery menubars, you could also opt for one of the commercial menubars such as PVII, WebAssist or DMXZone

Why are Links and forms not working in mobile safari?

Why do links and forms on the site I am designing not work in mobile safari? They work fine in desktop browsers.
The controls change state when focused, so it's not that they're being blocked, they simply don't activate. Behavior tested and observed on iPad running iOS 6.1.2 and iPhone running iOS 7.0.2.

I had the same problem but I just found a solution. Siri mistakenly suggests to enable reminders (which you should), but the setting that enables all these, is under System Services (on the bottom of the page) -> Location Based Alerts. I had deactivated it alleviate battery problems and had forgotten about it. Hope this helps!

MS mobile browsers are crippled. They don't support many features known from IE. I would suggest to check MSDN for Windows Mobile documentation:

Push notifications, I believe, is only for iOS.

Photoshop button mousedown not working on mobile

I am occasionally working on my business site in Muse, where I have a section of logos that use the Photoshop button feature.
When you mouseover on the desktop, or click on mobile, a color version of the logo shows up as expected.
I am using a similar function on a new site comp, using similar PSD files, with correct states applied, but the mousedown action will not work on mobile.
In fact, in the name of science, I dropped one of the Photoshop buttons that works (from my personal site), and it won't work on the new site.
I cannot see any difference here, but I'm not getting the same results. What am I missing? Thanks.

I have set-up office email account in Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync this work only over office Wi-Fi not working outside of office Wi-Fi range. When I back to office all new e-mail loaded automatically. I have no problem with yahoo email setup in the same Z10 hand set work in both Wi-Fi and Mobile network. I have data plan with my carrier. Both emails were working in my previous Blackberry hand set Bold 9900. But with this New Z10 this become a problem

Have you tested the server OMA setup with a notebook or desktop (https://webmail.domain.com/OMA)?
You should receive a login prompt for username & password following by an Inbox listing of messages.
We used this step to verify server setup before configuring an iPhone. Lastly, we made certain that connectivity would work from outside or within our company by doing the following:
1) created A record for webmail.domain.com to a public IP that route through the firewall on 443 to the Exchange server's private IP - this handles external traffice
2) added an internal DNS record for webmail.domain.com to the private IP of the Exchange server.
This ensures that webmail.domain.com sync's to exchange from outside or from within the Enterprise.

Can you try sending a BBM friend a PIN message, not in BBM, but in your Compose Message > PIN.
You will need that contact's BBM PIN number...
Do you see the message sent, and does it hae a D beside or R afterwards?

I created a new webpage - New - Page from Sample - Mobile Starters - Jquery Mobile with Theme and did not modify it.
That does not work on an iPhone or Android.
What am I missing? Is there an update to make the jquery mobilesite work?

Thank you. I was having the exact same problem. I even upoaded the unmodified starter page, just in case it was something I did. Inserting the viewport line fixed it. (Now I need to go back and insert that line into each of the pages I was working on.)
The question remains, however, as to why the mobile starter pages don't include that line in the first place.
[edit] FYI - On Dreamweaver CC, it's under the "common" group within "insert". (I would have expected it under "JQuery Mobile", but it's not there.)

The Built in SharePoint 2013 Help Menu (?) on our Enterprise Farm for both the sites and Central
Admin does not work.
On Central Admin help the error comes back as: "Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found".
The site collections Help menu gets the error :
"Unfortunately, help seems to be broken...
There aren't any help collections in the current language for the site you're using."
We have installed on all servers in the farm:
