Need advice/idea about Image gallery

Hello to ALL!!!
I'm trying to make an dynamic image gallery WITH!!! some
active buttons above (for example: BUTTON1 with function "delete"
and BUTTON2 with function "update") a picture and some "dataoutput"
below (for example:Price). So, separate cell must look like:
BUTTON1 BUTTON2
<Image>
PRICE
For implementation this task I have:
1) mySQL database "gallery" with table "test" and columns
"Id", "path to image", "Price"
2) 2 gifs: BUTTON1, BUTTON2
Before my first trying I thought that it's simple, and I've
tried:

And it worked normal. BUT!!! Looping had a vertical
direction! And any CSS rules that I've applied to DIV "imagecont"
(weight, height) hadn't any effect.
So, what I've get:
I see all necessary information (on browser), but I don't
know, how to format it with my dreaweawer cs3 and CSS.
And I afraid that I've chosen a "wrong method" (I mean my
code above)
Please, give me some recommendations or advices.
How can i archive my needs?
How to use CSS in div tag, which includes <cfloop>
code. I've also tried to use CSS with structure like:
<div id=a>
<cfoutput>
<cfloop >
<div id=b>
DATA
</div>
</cfloop>
</cfoutput>
</div>
But (div a)'s CSS rule HEIGHT take's no effect on <div
id=b> :(
And what about useful technique for displaying " action
buttons" above each image in dynamic image gallery???

re the 2 buttons above the image: consider turning them into
css image
overlays instead (when the buttons appear OVER [not above]

way.

I need to create an image gallery

I'm looking for a tutorial which explains me how to create a simple AS3 image gallery driven by an XML file.
The gallery I need is really simple:
- an horizontal bar placed on the bottom containing the thumbnails which scrolls left and right according to the mouse pointer
- clicking on a thumbnail the full image must be shown above the thumbnails' bar
- buttons for prev and next image

where xml is an xml variable containing the xml file's data.
I think that syntax is for AS2, while I'm using AS3 and it say to me that a semicolon is expected before atsign.
How can I read the attributes thumb, full and desc in AS3?

Need work around for image gallery with password protected URLs

Is there a way to display an image gallery that has password protected URLs?
I can build the image gallery in Siena using an excel table with a list of the images and when I preview the app inside Siena I get the expected credentials prompt from IE, and I enter the credentials and the images load and display with their captions perfectly.
There are 4-6 images in the gallery.
When I publish and produce a store app, the app errors out with can’t connect and obviously fails on
var GenericInitError = "The app could not connect to the server. Please try again later.",
GenericInitTitle = "Network error";
Most likely because Siena wants to preload everything and there is no way with preload to enter credentials.
I am looking for any alternatives that would let me get around this.

Need advice & answers about updating DV7 Processor

I've had an HP Pavilion dv7t Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0GHz 4GB 320GB 17.3" for a little over a year. (I have no idea what the processor # is) Recently the fan started getting louder so I took it in to be cleaned b/c my hands are paralyzed and I can't work on the unit myself. The tech got the fan running smooth again w/ graphite powder. Right after that he said the laptop wouldn't stay running for longer than 5 mins before shutting down. As of right now he says the CPU is fried. I asked if he could pull it and test it and then he informed me that the CPU was soldered to the motherboard. (it was running fine until it was taken to be cleaned except for loud fan noise)
Ok, so if the processor has gone out. Whats a good replacement/upgrade if possible for this system and how much will a CPU and motherboard set me back?
Any advice, tip or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, Im really thinking about filing chapter 7. I currently owe 34k in credit cards and also have personal loan for 8k. I'm barely able to make payments and I really need some relief. It gets very stressful. Will filing bankruptcy help my situation. I just want to be able to start over. I want to know as whether filtering more in a query increases performance of a query or decreases it ..
Actually i executed a query which taken 5 mins around and so i did some filterings taking a point in a mind as filtering will not access whole table as just whichever are matching records, it will fetch that quickly but its opposite happened as now its taking around 7 mins..
For increasing performance as i am aware i removed order by clause too as sorting takes more cost ..
Now can anyone let me know just as whether writing more join statements it increases performance or decreases it ...
Cost is decreased from 280103 to 36387 but still execution time is not improved and in fact it became more bad ..
So any one help me .. Its any valuable links .. As i already did some searching but didnt find suitable one's ..

Need Advice Fast About Lion Thumb Drive Please!

Here's my situation, I've got several Macs that are on Snow Leopard that can upgrade to Lion but not Mountain Lion, I've been looking around for the Lion thumb drive, but can only find it on eBay, or some pirated version on Amazon.com.

You can make a USB thumb drive with the Recovery HD only on it and use it to boot into the Recovery HD to download/install Lion on the Macs you own or control. The Lion Recovery Disk Assistant is used to create this thumb drive. It does not have the full installer. You can install the assistant on any Mac that is running Lion.

So while execution,first the mainwindow appears, from that window1 appears, from window1 window2 appears.window2 has a textfield, that takes userinput(string) by textfield.getText() method.
My requirement is: how can I use the inputted textfield string to be used as label of a button in mainwindow.
I know the technique of returning the string from window2 to mainwindow,
but don't know how to use eventhandler, sothat during runtime only the mainwindow will be updated with that button getting the string from textfield of window2

Create an image gallery in DW

I am working on a new website in Dreamweaver. I am happy to hand code the HTNL and CSS (using what shortcusts are availablel CSS with Designer etc). As a fairly new subscriber to CC I have been using Lynda.com to the learn DW and found that DW no longer supports SPRY. I NEED TO CREATE AN IMAGE GALLERY WITHIN THE NEW SITE, but now need to know which adobe product is best to use to create the gallery and embed the appropeiate HTML/CSS etc into the pages using DW???

Urgent Help with Image Gallery

I really need help with an image gallery i have created. Cannot think of a resolution
So....I have a dynamic image gallery that pulls the pics into a movie clip and adds them to the container (slider)
The issue i am having is that when i click on this i am essentially clicking on all the items collectively and i would like to be able to click on each image seperately...

as i mentioned i have 6 images that load into an array and then into a container and i think that maybe the problem is that i have the listener on the container so when i click on any image it gives the same results.

etc

CQ5 image gallery component

Hi,
I'm a newbee in CQ5. I need to create an image gallery similar to http://goo.gl/RGBXs. How can I proceed towards that?
I was thinking of taking a DAM folder path from the content author as an input and using that I would create the block by iterating all the images contained within that folder. Is that a correct way? If so, what API I can use to iterate through the image files contained in a DAM folder?

Following is the code I used to display the image (bold letter) and it worked!!
Simply use child.getPath() to get image path.

Need Ideas for Minimalist Website and Image Gallery

I am looking for ideas for creating a minimalist online image gallery/portfolio? I want to either use html for the site and then flash for the portfolio images or some other method. I want to click on the thumbnails and then a large image will open.
Should I use Flash, Dreamweaver, Would it be easier to load the images dynamically to a folder. Does anyone have an example they could show me. Thanks.

I second Mahendra's suggestion for JAlbum Excellent product! Just so you know, you don't need to use their image hosting. Simply download the software and install it on your PC. The beauty of JAlbum is that it generates thumbnails and HTML pages for you from your folder of images. Lots of different Skins available. CSS can be customized. And you can't beat the price.
Minimalism is nice but on the web, if you don't have some real text in the HTML markup you're essentially invisible to search engines, language translators and web assisting technologies like screen readers. I realize this is a portfolio, but you want to maintain some degree of visibility so people can find you. For this reason, Flash sites don't do well. HTML is preferred.
