Need Expertise on Custom Photo Gallery Template

Hello there - this question isn't really just Mac specific, but I don't see a forum that will post to ALL Photoshop users.
I'm in need of some help customizing a Photo Web Gallery in Photoshop. I've done one entirely without tables, using my own CSS to style it. My thumbnail page would be similar to the coding for the index page of the Lightbox styled gallery in this tutorial: www.photoshoplab.com/lightbox-web-photo-gallery.html
However, my problem is that even though my design doesn't use tables, when I'm in the automation dialogue in Photoshop, it still shows the table row and column parameters - greyed out - from the last time a table-based gallery template was used. And Photoshop is using this info to decide how many thumbnails to put on the gallery index page. It simply multiplies the row * column to limit the number of thumbnails on that first page. Very odd and not very nice looking, as it won't finish a row this way.
I notice the Lightbox styled gallery template does away with the table for the thumbnails as well. How, then can I gain control over showing "X" number of images per thumbnail page? Say I have a gallery of 40 images - how can I show 20, max, per page? Or 10? Or whatever needs to be specified to suit the number of images in that gallery?
Also, at runtime, Photoshop is stripping some small but important bits of code out of my customized templates. I've tried to put some HTML elements in to force the "previous next" text below the thumbnails, but it gets stripped out during the generation of the gallery.

Notice that the first thumbnails page shows 21 images. That's because the greyed out row, column info in the automate dialogue was 3 rows of 7 columns.
Is there any way to get to the actual code that Photoshop runs to generate the galleries? Seems like that's where it would be looking for the table info.
Any thoughts? I'd sure appreciate any info you can give or point me to someone who has done a pure CSS automated Photoshop gallery.

user\Application Data\Adobe\Bridge CS5\Adobe Output Module\MediaGallery\
I got there as a result of your suggestion and although I didn't find /roaming/ I did find the following directories
/document1/
/preview/
/previewinbrowser1/
So I am guessing these contain the files I need to work with. Some of the files are json files which is a bit new to me but I think there is a fair bit of resource around about it.

Don't use web gallery myself but am afraid that the options for this in Bridge are very limited and they have not improved for several versions (CS6 also does not include a watermark for Web Gallery while the option is there in output to PDF)
So you will have to create your own watermark or logo. When you create an action to do so in Photoshop and create copies of this files you can use those copies for web gallery and save the originals. It is a bit work to create such an action (also Google for this for additional info) but once your action is working you only need to select the wanted files in Bridge, use menu tools /PS / batch / and choose your created watermark action and it all goes automatically

Modifying web photo gallery templates

Hi all! I created a web photo gallery in Photoshop. I want to modify the template so that I can make the gallery look more in line with the rest of the site I'm designing. I see in the Help Center that I need to modify the "tokens" in the html, but I'm at a loss as to how to do this. Is there a site online somewhere that can explain this to me better? Photo Gallery Template customisation

I would like to look creating specialised template to use in the Adobe Bridge photo Gallery output module. Problem is I cant find where the current templates are stored so I can have a look at what is required to change them so I can create the revised template. I have found a reference to the templated being in a folder in the Photoshop installation called presets but as that folder doesn't exist on my CS5 installation I suspect it was for an earlier version. Can anyone advise where I can find the files used for the current HTML template listed in the Template section of the Photo Gallery module. And has anyone attempted a rebuild of the code to create a new template?
It may of course not be possible but if it is written in javascript then it is at least worth considering.

Photo Gallery template alterations?

I have two questions about the photo album & gallery templates. I have had to change some of the background elements for a client website but can't seem to alter the height location (how far up I can move the photo/album box) on the page (I need it about 1/2 inch below the navigation bar) nor can I change the font colour for "index, Subscribe, and the page numbers/arrows etc). Is there a way I can do this or am I stuck with how far up I can move the gallery/albums and have to settle with the text colour of that particular template.
I have looked at other templates to slip their album pages into this project and then alter every element to match the current one, but not every element will erase. I can't seem to alter much if I do it that way.
Any ideas? Thanks

The index, subscribe, etc. buttons/links are not user changeable. Which template are you using? Those that a user can have maximum control over are black, white and formal.
If you delete any object between the navbar and the album box you can move that box up to the very bottom of the header section which houses the navbar. You can also move the photo grid box up to the bottom of the header section as long as there are not other objects between the two. I'm using iWeb 09 but that shouldn't make a difference.

Customizing Photo Gallery

Iweb works beautifully until I created a photo gallery. It then took over, formatting the photos within a pretty ugly white background surrounded by a metallic frame. It is apparently unchangeable...
Does anyone know if there is an elegant workaround? All of my other pages are BLACK - until getting to the slideshow - which in my case NEEDS to be black in order to showcase the pics. Apple, why did you do something so weird????

You can't do anything about how the slide show displays. I used iWeb '06. The black template selected does not produce the brushed metal frame when the slideshow plays in Safari. Don't know what happens when viewed on IE. You may have to switch templates.

Need Help Removing XML Photo Gallery on Button Click

Hi, I'm new to flash so this might seem like a dumb question, but I'm right in the middle of designing a photography site and need some help. I have 4 buttons in my timeline that go to the corresponding frame labels when clicked, above each frame label is a keyframe with actionscript applied to it, that will load an external XML photo gallery. I need the current photo gallery that's on the screen to disappear when I click on a new button to load the new XML photo gallery. this is the code that will be above each frame label with a few changes, then below this is the code for my buttons. Can/How Do I Create a Photo Gallery Template in Bridge

It is possible for me to create a photo web gallery "template" in Bridge CS5. I would like it so that every time I create a photo gallery for sports photos, the header, google analytics, facebook icon, twitter icon copyright and more are all the same every time a create a photo gallery in Bridge CS5.

Web Photo Gallery Templates

I'm trying to track down the template files that DW8 and
Fireworks use to create the web photo gallery. I'm trying to
automate this process as much as possible and would rather have the
album pages created the way I want them to look rather than having
to go back and apply my template to the pages afterwards. Does
anyone know of an easy way to do this?

Being as this a DW ng and all I thought you might prefer a DW
plug in that
is incredibly neat and gets you exceptionally professional
looking results.
Does all that you are after (except thumbs down the side) and
is fully
compliant and if you don't like the look you tweak the css
not the gallery,
so no rebuilding involved.

Flash Photo Gallery Template 3 for CS2

I am trying to build a flash photo gallery using template #3
from Photosho CS2. I can not figure out where in the scripting the
wmode=transparent param goes. The swf is embeded using a script.

Need "Rotate" Function in Photo Gallery

All of my screen grabs end up 90 degrees rotated in PhotoGallery. There is no rotate function in Photo Gallery so to deal with these images I first open them in Adobe Editor on iPad and rotate them then save them to PhotoGallery.
Is there a better way to do this?

I have used inline styles to make it easy on myself, but in reality you would put the style rules in the corresponding element selector in the CSS. Also, you would readjust the values to suit.
Also, it is worth mentioning that placing a width and height on your image as you have done, should really be done using CSS.

As a side note, I have gotten into the habit of using classes for all of my style rules. I came to the conclusion that this is the way to go when trying to analyse a problem within my web page. ID's are unique per document and as such are used when manipulating the DOM using JavaScript. Now when I see an ID in one of my documents, I know that it is not a styling matter as in CSS, but a problem within my script.
Take the above note as a thought, because there is a ongoing debate about this.

Can anyone help get me started on making a simple custom web gallery template?

I have tried using the documentation and a freeware template as an example, but I am getting confused, and I think the template is over-complicating things.
I have a web-template that requires the following to get images to automatically work in a gallery:
Full size images in a specific folder
Thumbnails or each full size image in another specific folder
Simple HTML code for each image which allows for image title and description information
The script takes care of the rest. So what I want to do is have Lightroom genereate the images in their specific folders, and the HTML code on the fly for each gallery I wish to publish to my website. I'm posotive this can be done, but I'm having trouble customizing the code. I've tried looking for tutorials and help, but the documentation on this is limited, and I'm not a programmer. I do however have enough experience with basic web design to be able to work with existing templates with relative ease but this is seemingly difficult as I'm not sure what each file in the plugin structure is actually doing. Any suggestions on how I can make a simple gallery output like this? Or a link for a good, solid, easy, step-by-step tutorial?

When ever you will get exception with SQL statement just copy that statement to SQL editor and run the parameter.

Look at the path to the larger image. Is the path correct?

Need help positioning flash photo gallery partially behind graphic.

I have created the basic photoshop layout that I will now be assembling in Dreamweaver. I wish to create a 4 or 5 image gallery using LightBox 2 that will rotate images within the header graphic. Image attached. How would I accomplish this code wise. Would I place the arched graphic within it's own <div> and float it above the div that holds the slideshow/gallery? Any help would be appreciated.

I have used inline styles to make it easy on myself, but in reality you would put the style rules in the corresponding element selector in the CSS. Also, you would readjust the values to suit.
Also, it is worth mentioning that placing a width and height on your image as you have done, should really be done using CSS.
Added:
As a side note, I have gotten into the habit of using classes for all of my style rules. I came to the conclusion that this is the way to go when trying to analyse a problem within my web page. ID's are unique per document and as such are used when manipulating the DOM using JavaScript. Now when I see an ID in one of my documents, I know that it is not a styling matter as in CSS, but a problem within my script.
Take the above note as a thought, because there is a ongoing debate about this.
