Need help in access SAP sales onDemand web services

Hi,
I am planning to develop an application using SAP Sales onDemand APIs. This application will pull and push data into SAP system from user. However I am not able to locate any web service documentation for Sales onDemand. Also please let me know if I can access the webservices using 15 day trial account provided by SAP.

Need help in returning error condition from web service

Hi,
I need one help regarding webservice. Currently my web service is returning "true" value when it works fine without any issues but it returns "false" when any any error is encountered. So my question is, can we return error instead of string "false". I dont know how to return exact error from webservice. If you any idea then please mail me.

Calling Sales Force Web-services from FMW

Hi,
Can anyone help me in calling Sales Force web-services from Fusion Middleware.
I've created a web-services in Sales Force & now I want to call it from FMW. The issue is we can't directly call SF web-services. We have to first authenticate ourself on SF site with user name & password along with Security token, get the session Id & then we have to call the web-service by setting the session Id in header.
If anyone has the PDF "salesforce-integration-fusion-middleware-twp.pdf " or any documentation on Sales Force integration with Oracle Fusion.

Thanks a lot for the reply & I absolutely think that's the way it should be. I've written a Java code with SF APIs to first login, get the session Id & then call the actual web-service with session Id set in header.
But the issue I'm facing from Fusion is I don't know the web-service for authentication with valid credentials to get the session Id.
I need the details of web-service which I should call first with my valid credentials to get the session Id so that I can pass the session Id as header parameter for calling the actual web-service.

your problem is that you need to obtain and import the SSL security certificate from your CRMOD server into the certificate store of your client application.
for example:
C:\Oracle\Middleware11113\jdk160_18\bin\keytool -importcert -trustcacerts -keystore C:\Oracle\Middleware11113\jdk160_18\jre\lib\security\cacerts -storepass changeit -noprompt -file C:\Users\Mick\Documents\Projects\SCB\DER\DER.cer -alias crmodnew
To be sure you are using that trust store you can then explicitly set the path to it thus:
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", "/Oracle/Middleware11113/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/cacerts");
This should get you going in accessing CRMOD from your Java code (ie running the java class directly in jdev) i nJDeveloepr 11.1.1.4, however be aware that there is an issue in the embedded WebLogic Server 10.3.4.0 that prevents successfully calling a CRMOD ws (you can login but not invoke a QueryPage for instance). To work around this until it is fixed I suggest you use JDeveloper 11.1.1.3 as the embedded WLS in this does work when accessing CRMOD web services, however you need to undertake the extra steps of enabling JSSE in your embedded WLS as well as importing the above cert into the WLS cert store, ie:

Invoking Siebel CRM OnDemand Web Service via BPEL

I'm trying to invoke a Siebel CRM OnDemand Web Service via BPEL. Basically, the Siebel guide says to post to a url with user/pwd to get a session ID returned from a cookie. I did that using embedded java and have the session ID as a variable in my BPEL process. My problem is with now calling the Web Service to perform the action. I have a WSDL from Siebel, but the guide says to use an HTTP post with the session ID in the url and the XML in the body. How do I do that? Shouldn't the WSDL handle that when I create the Partner Link? Do I need to use more embedded Java for this or can I set up a Partner Link? I created a Partner Link and it shows the methods I want to use, but I get the following error when I try to call it because I don't know where to add the session ID:

The Siebel OnDemand web services can accept the siebel session token in the URL. Append ';jessionid={%sessionIdFromCookie%}' to the end point. Obviously this has to be done dynamically. Refer to the article called 'Making BPEL Processes Dynamic' (http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/bpel_cookbook/carey.html) pay particular attention to the 'Eliminating address dependency at run time' section.

We are trying to invoke Siebel OnDemand Web Service via BPEL.
We have followed the steps as mentioned in

But still we are unable to get the Session Id.
Do we need to opne any port to resolve this issue or do we have any other way to get the session ID.

Failed to test a SAP PI Published web service on SOAPUI

Hi All,
I have developed the RFC to Web service through SAP PI 7.1 . Web service published on 'Services Registry' and test on it. It accepts the my request and respond from SAP R3. All the message was successfully recorded on SXMB_MONI.
In Integration Directory, i could view the web service URL . I navigated to the Sender Agreement -> Display WSDL and i could see the "WSDL URL' and wsdl content on large text box.
I access the WSDL URL from SOAPUI tool and set the preference -> proxy setting also. it populated the request message successfully but respond gives the '400 Bad HTTP request' and Detail: -> illegal path specified . No SOAPUI request recorded on SXMB_moni.
i try the same following way also . i saved the WSDL on xml file and access it through the SOAPUI -> import project. that also failed on SOAPUI.
Can you please help to solve the issue ?

I have connected to the service using SOAPUI and below is the sample header for the same. I need to achieve the same in my Windows form application from where I am calling the SOAP service over https.

Unable to access calendar, because the web service is configured incorrectly

When attempting to access my web based calender I recieve the following error, "Unable to access calendar, because the web service is configured incorrectly." I have both the web service and iCal server configured to use SSL.

In the Server Admin - iCal Server Settings page there's a place where you specify the ports to be used, 8008 without SSL and 8443 (? out of my memory, not sure) for SSL.
The issue was caused because left of the SSL port I selected "redirect" instead of "use".
After I changed that it worked right away.

Siebel OnDemand Web Services and BPEL II

We are trying to do a POC for a given client that is trying to decide between SOD and another on demand CRM product.
Our POC is to integrate SOD using bpel and sending data to a back end system with SOD as the originator and instigator of the flow.
We intend to take data from an integration event pull it into bpel do a transformation to add data to it and update SOD to complete the circuit.
We are having a few issues and was wondering if you can provide some insight since we would like to put SOD at this site.
Our issues are :)
Issue 1
When we import the WSDL for the Integration event the scheema's are not resolved.
Issue 2. When we import more than one WSDL in our flow it has issues with duplicates between the 2 wsdls..
issue 3.
We have succesfully used the example application to do our login and faked out the endpoint but have not been able to automate this step.
We found an example online at oracle ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/fmw4apps/siebel/ofm-siebel-blog-postings.html)
(We got that link from the other BPEL post: Siebel OnDemand Web Services and BPEL
But when we copy the code into our embeded java object it doesn't work. I think that we may be missing some of the code to use.
Do we have the full copy of this java object?

Some info from the Siebel web services guide:-
"The login request is an HTTPS request to instantiate a session and obtain a session ID. A client invokes login by sending an HTTP GET request to a URL like the following:

■ Login input. The input to login is provided in the URL parameters and the HTTP headers, as follows:

OnDemand Web Services, SSO, SSO Token

Hello,
We are working on a project that requires integration between an external application and Oracle CRM OnDemand. We are using the OnDemand web services for this and have got the integration going.
However we are currently using a fixed username/password for instantiating the web services sessions and would like to change that using SSO such that we pass the SSO Token and obtain a session id and then use that for the same integration.
Not sure how to get SSO going though. I've read the posts on this forum and have now gotten SSO enabled for our company and user. We also know that we need to pass on the URL a SSO Token instead of Username/Password.
However dont know where/how to get the SSO Token?
Any pointers will be appreciatd. If someone has the pseudo code of the 3-4 steps to getting the SSO token going would be appreciated.

Ok got it. So I guess the SSO Token does not meet our use case then.
Here's our use case.
We have an custom web application that users log into. These users are also OnDemand users with a OD Username/Password but the values are not the same as the custom web app username/password.
What we need is, when these users log into the custom web app and perform certain tasks the web app behind the scenes creates a web service session with OD and inserts some data. We were currently using a common username/password to do inserts, but now we want to do it based on each users login, but do not want to locally store in the custom app the OD Uid/Pwd's. So we thought SSOToken would allow us to do this where since the users are logged into the custom web app that app would then use the SSO Token to create a session with OD and insert data.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

What SAP Business Objects Web Services to use with XI3.0

I'm new to BO and is tasked to install it.
What I've installed already is the BOE XI3.0 version and now want to install Xcelsius 2008 Enterprise.
What I can not figure out from the Xcelsius manual or SDN or OSS is what the Business Objects Web Services are the manual instructs you to install with Xcelsius.
I did find something called
BusinessObjects Web Services XI for Windows and downloaded it but is not sure if this is what I need to install as the business Object Web Services on XI 3.0
Can someone please direct me in the correct direction

Hi,
i am not sure if i understand your question. If you mean Query as a Webservice (QaaWS), this component should be part of your XI 3.0 Enterprise installation. You could also use the flynet (www.flynet.co.uk) which is part of Xcelsius Enterprise 2008 SP1.
