Need help on solving an error

I am using Tomcat 5.5 and encountered the following error message when accessing a JSP page(the JSP page contains <c: forEach> tags) :
According to TLD or attribute directive in tag file, attribute value does not accept any expressions
I already placed c.tld in the WEB-INF\lib folder.....
thanks.

I am using Tomcat 5.5 and encountered the following

According to TLD or attribute directive in tag file,

I already placed c.tld in the WEB-INF\lib
folder.....Well, that was mistake number 2.
Mistake #1 was that you downloaded the wrong version of JSTL.
So to fix things, you need to start from scratch, which means deleting all the .tlds you have around, removing any taglib definitions you have in the web.xml, deleting the jstl.jar and standard.jar from your WEB-INF/lib/ directory.
Then:
1) Make sure you get JSTL version 1.1, not 1.0
2) Put the standard.jar and jstl.jar files in WEB-INF/lib/
3) On top of the JSP pages using jstl, do this:
<%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" %>
And that tag should be written as <c:forEach ...> NOT as <c: forEach ... >

  • Need Help In Solving Writing To Queue Problem

    Hi Guys,
I have two threads that are adding to the same message queue. The first one is suppose to add four integers consecutively. Meanwhile the second thread add an integer in between the four integers. Because of that my application is not working properly. I would like that when a thread is adding then the other must wait before it adds. The method that the threads call to add to the queue are all synchronized, but it is still behaving like that.
I need help in solving it.
    Thanks.

Please what do you mean by synchronizing on the same object? Can you explain it to me?
When you synchronize a block of Java code, you synchronize on a particular object, which is called the Monitor.
The effect is only to prevent another thread running this, or another block of code synchronized on the same object.
If you use synchronized methods, then the monitor is the object to which the method belongs (or the class if the method is static). The same synchronized method can be executed simultaneously on a different instance of the object.

  • Need Help In Solving Positioning Problem

    Hi Guys,
I have a 3 X 3 grid of JLabels of images. I constructed the grid using the grid layout.
I would like to move a round object which represents a car and place that object in a particular cell. So the grid will be like a background.
    My questions are these:
    1) How can i position this object in a specific cell based on the rows and column values? for instance if i want to put the object in [1][0].
    2) How do i move this object to a different cell using the rows and column values. for instance if i want to move the object in [1][0] to [2][1]
Thank you all for your help

This question has nothing to do with Java 2D. I've removed the second thread you started in that forum.
Thank you for providing a link to this thread in the cross post.

This is probably one of the files that is required by the template you are using.
These files are inside the iWeb app. Control click the iWeb app icon and select "Show package contents".
You need to dig down through the folders and files to find what you want...
    Contents/Resources/da.lproj/Templates/
If the file is missing you would need to re install the iWeb app...

ORA-14450: attempt to access a transactional temp table already in use
Cause: An attempt was made to access a transactional temporary table that has been already populated by a concurrent transaction of the same session.
what can i do to solve this error
    need help immediately

Sounds like you have a transaction-specific global temporary table (ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS) and that mulitple transactions try to use it at the same time.
You could make the table session-specific (ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS).
BUT, there may be a reason why it was created this way and you therefore have a problem somewhere in the program logic.

  • I Need help with the following error:

Hi, I am getting the following error:
    <b>BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</b>
I have looked at some of the other threads that deal with this but since I am new to XI I am not sure where to look. I have tried to activate in SXI_CACHE and I get a code of 99 with the following error. I did not get this error in the QAS environment, only when it was moved to Prod. We have cleared and reset all of the caches and am still getting this error when I try to activate in SXI_CACHE:
<b>E     'STATUSCODE' is not a component of data object 'PAYLOAD'</b>
Can someone point me in the right direction to fix this? We just moved it to prod and need to get it fixed asap.
Thanks in advance for all of the help.
    Mike Curtis

    Hi Michael,
    Before SP16:
the problem should be solved with the help of note 890760. You might find note
816430 interesting as well, but the first one should help you solve the problem.
    After:
If those are already in your system, have a look at note 996631. This could be
    the solution.
Regards and good luck with XI.

    Hi Dietmar,
    Thanks for your reply.
There's no jasperreports-fonts-3.7.4.jar file in the webapps/JasperReportsIntegration/WEB-INF/lib folder. The only font file available is jasperreports-fonts-4.5.0.jar. I've downloaded the 3.7.40 jar file and saved it in the same folder without deleting the 4.5.0.jar. I tried to run the Test application again and still give me the same error.

Our DBA added the Java system property in the startup script by adding these 2 lines. But it errored out on the first 2 lines. I'm not sure if I do have the right syntax.

  • Need help in understanding the error ORA-01843: not a valid month - ECX_ACT

    Hello All,
We need help in understanding the Transaction Monitor -> Processing Message (error "ORA-01843: not a valid month - ECX_ACTIONS.GET_CONVERTED_DATE").
And how to enable the log for Transaction Monitor -> Processing Logfile.
Actually we are trying to import the Purchase Order XML (OAG) into eBusiness Suite via BPEL Process Manager using the Oracle Applications Adapter. The process is working fine with expected payload until it reaches the XML Gateway Transaction Monitor, where we are getting this error.
    thanks
    muthu.

A similar issue is posted on http://www.dbforums.com/database-concepts-design/927987-using-sql-loader-load-data-multiple-files.html, but not a solution yet there, any help on this issue is highly appreciated.
an alternative solution is also appreciated?

The product number of your laptop is XZ037UA#ABA (Here ABA means this particular model was sold in US only) . Where was this laptop purchased exactly and Where are you currently located?

    Hi Vikash,
This query will not produce results as per requirement:
    Try it with following data
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (1,777,'abc','2/14/2014 11:15','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (1,777,'abc','2/21/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (2,777,'abc','2/28/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (2,777,'abc','3/7/2014 9:02','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (2,777,'abc','3/14/2014 9:02',NULL)
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (5,888,'xyz','2/14/2014 11:15','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (5,888,'xyz','2/21/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (5,888,'xyz','2/28/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (7,888,'xyz','3/7/2014 9:02',NULL)
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (6,888,'xyz','3/14/2014 9:02',NULL)
as per the problem statement, all records having 888,'xyz' should be updated with 6 not 7 as max effective date is associated with 6 not 7.
    Ashutosh
    Nope.
can you check the original post first. It clearly states output as having 7 as id for all the records with 888,xyz
also your above posted sample data is different from original sample data as you've dates jumpled up for the records with ids 6 and 7
Please see the illustration for original sample data
