The product number of your laptop is XZ037UA#ABA (Here ABA means this particular model was sold in US only) . Where was this laptop purchased exactly and Where are you currently located?
HP provides a global warranty and ideally this should be covered at no additional cost. You can find more info at below link

  • Need help in solving conversion row to columns issue

    Hi friends
I came across a strange situation/ problem. The problem is in one table say source_metadata
    I have 4 attribute
    matching_Table matching_columns source_table source_col
    OTREDW.PARTY_ALT_ID Src_key rcw Source_key
    OTREDW.PARTY_ALT_ID party_id rcw party_id_org
    otredw.individual SRC_KEY
    otredw.individual name rcw name_org
    otredw.individual name rcw name_mod
    otredw.wage_fact src_key
    otredw.wage_fact wages_tips rcw wage_tips_org
    otredw.wage_fact wages_tips rcw wage_tips_mod
The matching tables and source table can be matched on src_key/source_key
I need to fetch the values from the respective tables / columns in one query. I have just faint idea to the solution is use of PIVOT feature.
    The desired OUTPUT is
    PARTY_ID PARTY_ID_ORG Name name_org name_mod wages_tips wages_tips_org wages_tips_mod
    1111111 1111111 James James JamesR 1000 1000 2000
I hope I have explained what I need. I will appreciate If anyone will be able to show me the way how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks
    Rajesh

Thanks everone for sending me the answer but I think I am unable to explain my issue.
The main issue is I am storing the name of the table and name of the corresponding column of the table under different columns of the table. How to fetch the data using a sql from these columns.
    EXAMPLE
    METADATA_TABLE
    table_name Column_name
    OTREDW.PARTY_ALT_ID PARTY_ID
    OTREDW.INDIVIDUAL NAME
    OTREDW.WAGE_FACT WAGES_TIPS
How to write query to fetch the table_name and column_name from metadata_table and fetch the data from the respective tables mentioned in the table columns?
I hope I was able to explain the question now.
    Thanks
    Rajesh

  • Need Help In Solving Writing To Queue Problem

    Hi Guys,
I have two threads that are adding to the same message queue. The first one is suppose to add four integers consecutively. Meanwhile the second thread add an integer in between the four integers. Because of that my application is not working properly. I would like that when a thread is adding then the other must wait before it adds. The method that the threads call to add to the queue are all synchronized, but it is still behaving like that.
I need help in solving it.
    Thanks.

Please what do you mean by synchronizing on the same object? Can you explain it to me?
When you synchronize a block of Java code, you synchronize on a particular object, which is called the Monitor.
The effect is only to prevent another thread running this, or another block of code synchronized on the same object.
If you use synchronized methods, then the monitor is the object to which the method belongs (or the class if the method is static). The same synchronized method can be executed simultaneously on a different instance of the object.

  • Need Help In Solving Positioning Problem

    Hi Guys,
I have a 3 X 3 grid of JLabels of images. I constructed the grid using the grid layout.
I would like to move a round object which represents a car and place that object in a particular cell. So the grid will be like a background.
    My questions are these:
    1) How can i position this object in a specific cell based on the rows and column values? for instance if i want to put the object in [1][0].
    2) How do i move this object to a different cell using the rows and column values. for instance if i want to move the object in [1][0] to [2][1]
Thank you all for your help

This question has nothing to do with Java 2D. I've removed the second thread you started in that forum.
Thank you for providing a link to this thread in the cross post.

  • Intel finds errors in Sandy Bridge chipset

I just saw this announcement that Intel has found design flaws in the new Sandy Bridge chipset and it looks like there will be a recall. I just bought a Satellite A660 with the i7-2630qm which has the Intel 6 series chipset in question. What a disappointment! I guess that's the risk you take when you buy new technology. I hope Toshiba will fix this for those who already have this processor. I was thinking about returning this model anyway and now I really want to get rid of it.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Thanks for the response, Jim, but I'd like to register my disappointment with Toshiba's decision.  I *like* my new Satellite and I'd much prefer to get it fixed.  I'd like to point out that a certain competitor (rhymes with 'bell') is offering a refund, replace, or repair three-option solution.  Toshiba's one size fits all solution, which really only benefits Toshiba and not their customers, looks pretty poor by comparison.  I hope Toshiba reconsiders.

  • Sandy Bridge Chipsets Defective!!

Intel has just announced it has a major (my words not Intel's) flaw in the current Sandy Bridge Chipset which is called.Intel 6 Cougar Point. I have seen two contradictory statements as to what boards are involved, but it just the motherboard and not the processor itself.  Intel estimates that it will cost them around $700 million to correct this problem
"In some cases, the Serial-ATA (SATA) ports within the chipsets may degrade over time, potentially impacting the performance or functionality of SATA-linked devices such as hard disk drives and DVD-drives," the Intel statement read.
See Harm was right in discouraging using these chips!!

Good point, Scott. I'll put one RAID on the rear panel USB/eSATA combination connectors. I wasn't too worried about losing my system drive. I actually have two F4s and was planning to clone the C: drive after installing the OS, CS5 etc anyways.
For those who haven't looked it up, the problem is that the 3Gbps SATA connection may degrade over a long period of time until the bit error rate climbs and eventually the connected drive woudn't be seen. There's no reported danger of data loss or drive damage and the likelihood of a connection failing is linked to voltage, heat and throughput. In other words, the failure rate for video editors might be 15 or 20% over three years instead of the 5% figure that has been bandied about. The problem is apparently due to a "rogue transistor" or metal layer problem in the old tech SATAII connectors.
As far as a RAID card goes, I'm trying to keep it relatively simple for now as I anticipate upgrading to Ivy when it comes out and hope to get an Areca 1880 (or equivalent) at that time.

need help with premiere pro cs6 having performance issues please help

    Welcome to the forum.
First thing that I would do would be to look at this Adobe KB Article to see if it helps.
Next, I would try the tips in this ARTICLE.
If that does not help, a Repair Install would definitely be in order.
    Good luck,

  • Need Help using WRT54GL as Wireless Bridge for Xbox

    Hi.
I need help configuring my WRT54GL as a wireless bridge for my xbox.
I have a Billion BiPAC 7404VGO currently in service as my main router/modem. i.e. I have my ADSL connection and PC connected to this. I also connect to this with a laptop.
I have an original xbox at the other end of the house (cat5 NOT an option).
Basically I want to connect my xbox to the rest of network. I have a WRT54GL I can use for this. I just dont know how to set it up.
The WRT54GL has Firmware Version: v4.30.7 (out of the box).
My Wireless network is using WPA.
I have a VPN setup through to work via the Billion.
The idea is to stream media from my PC to the xbox (media centre).
Any help would be HUGELY appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Katman

A wireless router is a device which requires its own wired internet connection. A wireless router is not a wireless access point like the Linksys WAPs. A wireless router does not connect wireless to other wireless routers/APs with standard Linksys firmware. With Linksys firmware you need a WAP54G or similar. The WAPs support wireless bridging and repeater mode.
If you already have a WRT54GL then you have to install a 3rd party firmware which adds wireless bridging capabilities. Read the wikipedia article on "WRT54G" for information about which WRT models support 3rd party firmware and an overview of projects and links.
Remember, however, that you may brick your router if you install a 3rd party firmware incorrectly and you probably void the warranty if you install 3rd party firmware (it is even possible to find out after you restore the original Linksys firmware if you don't clear the NVRAM before).

    Hi Vikash,
This query will not produce results as per requirement:
    Try it with following data
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (1,777,'abc','2/14/2014 11:15','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (1,777,'abc','2/21/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (2,777,'abc','2/28/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (2,777,'abc','3/7/2014 9:02','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (2,777,'abc','3/14/2014 9:02',NULL)
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (5,888,'xyz','2/14/2014 11:15','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (5,888,'xyz','2/21/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (5,888,'xyz','2/28/2014 9:00','3/14/2014 9:02')
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (7,888,'xyz','3/7/2014 9:02',NULL)
    Insert into @TempTABLE values (6,888,'xyz','3/14/2014 9:02',NULL)
as per the problem statement, all records having 888,'xyz' should be updated with 6 not 7 as max effective date is associated with 6 not 7.

    Nope.
can you check the original post first. It clearly states output as having 7 as id for all the records with 888,xyz
also your above posted sample data is different from original sample data as you've dates jumpled up for the records with ids 6 and 7
Please see the illustration for original sample data

  • Intel Z68 Sandy Bridge chipset and SSD caching....

For those of us considering a move to the Sandy Bridge/Z68 platform, we will eventually need to sort out whether to take advantage of the chipset's ability to "improve" ONE hard drive with a smallish (64GB or less) SSD.
Results I have seen indicate read speeds considerably slower than an SSD drive alone but acceptably improved performance over a bare hard drive. It seems like a promising situation. Capacity of a TB hard drive with read speeds nicely bumped upwards.
    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/z68-express-lucidlogix-virtu-ssd-caching,2888.html
Question: If a user followed Harm's and other's suggestions in setting up a basic 3- or 4-drive computer, which drive should take the cheapo SSD?
    Thoughts:
    1) Assume the Z68 platform is loaded with all 16GB of memory that the four-slot Socket 1155 motherboard can typically accept. Would CS5 or 5.5 load enough program data into RAM to render placing the SSD on the OS drive for editing with Premiere minimally beneficial? Or would it simply make sense to put the SSD on the OS drive for so many other reasons that it's a no-brainer?
    2) If it's a close call, which other drive should get the SSD? If I understand correctly, this hybrid drive won't write data all that much better. The improvement will primarily be on reads. And on that, random access reads, not sustained throughput. This is especially the case with cheaper 40GB-ish SSD's. (Some one please verify this.) Most Sandy Bridge users opting for the lower end, 20 PCI-e lanes platform won't be big-time power users. (You guys are waiting for the Socket 2011 platform.) Many of us will be getting our footage from DSLR or other AVCHD sources. AVCHD is so compressed that a single drive can supply more than enough layers for the Joe Blow amateur editor.
Unless we use Cineform NeoScene to lighten the load on the CPU, which will result in a much larger bitstream coming off the media drive for each layer, Would it make sense to help out a single drive in this situation? Or would it be universally better to set up a simple 2-disk RAID 0? Paying $65 for second drive and taking advantage of motherboard RAID 0 would seem to be a better solution if the media drive can't keep up.
For any situation, if the media drive(s) is already fast enough, would caching the media drive offer many benefits? I'm under the impression that feeding Premiere with footage is a sequential read situation, not a random access deal. Isn't the strength of an SSD in random access reads, and wouldn't the best usage be to place it on a disk that primarily is used by Premiere in random access data fetching?
    3) Good grief. If it doesn't go on the OS or primary media drive supplying footage, where else? Projects disk? Scratch drive?
    4) Might the most useful thing be to avoid setting up a RAID while getting some of the speed benefits a RAID 0 offers? Many casual users can build a straightforward computer but have never set up a RAID array, even a 2-disk RAID 0.
40GB SSD's are under $100 now. I suspect a lot of people will use this feature of the Z68, if the hybrid drive isn't hard to set up and is reliable. I'm curious how the Premiere crowd will make use of this feature, and will it make a palpable difference on a relatively simple editing rig? No Areca RAID cards and only 16GB memory. Nothing more than 3 or 4 single drives.

Frankly I don't see how an inexpensive SSD would help the "caching" for editing with Premiere CS5, since a typical 7200 rpm 1TB drive can perform substained writes at about 2x what a typical small SSD does.
Premiere CS5 continues to beg for lots of drives!
    Jim
(one of the few "believers" in SSDs on this forum - and my "belief" is for OS and programs, not for input, media, caching, etc.)

  • I give up! I need help to solve this problem.

Just a heads up you will need coffee.
Please this is driving me mad and I cannot solve it I really, really can't! So here it is in a nutshell because I'm done! With trying to solve this by myself because clearly I'm not getting it.
So here is my understanding in short say 101 of networking put simply just as a base of understanding..... you get a IP from your ISP with a gateway IP in a subnet range and within that range you ARP to send from your IP to another IP in that range for the MAC (technically this MAC can still be the ISP gateway MAC and route by IP without knowing MAC for that other IP in your subnet but....works either way) and to send from your IP to an IP out side the subnet your in you send to the ISP gateway MAC where it will be routed.
This is from windows 7 and when you ARP that MAC e6-1f-6d-6c-db-da is my ISP for all of 10. for all of 172.16. to 172.31. for all of 192.168. and 169.254. replys with that MAC every-single-one! From a request by ARP IP sender like 77.96.238.3 (if that was my IP) in 255.255.254.0 for them target IP's! (except the ones in the subnet of the subnet your in) The reply comes from my ISP gateway basically saying for sending to IP's in 10. for all of 172.16. to 172.31. for all of 192.168. and 169.254. is over where my ISP gateway IS! ITS NOT!

The XP TCP/IP stack does not do this and you might think that my windows 7 has a problem it does not because the TCP/IP stack in windows 7 is a rebuild of what the TCP/IP stack was like in XP but whats done is done and that how the windows 7 TCP/IP stack is and that should be a eye opener as to why nothing has been done about this but thats just me saying that but its not really a TCP/IP stack problem. So is that my ISP problem? The answer is no because even if my ISP did not reply you still can send requests from a valid IP like 77.96.238.3 to your ISP a ARP with a target IP that does not and should not exist out to your ISP gateway like 192.168.0.1 yet you can.
The simple fact is this there is no, none and nothing to make a ACL for ARP to drop the target/sender IP's for the 0806 Ethertype.
And I have tried this Dynamic ARP Inspection with both DHCP Snooping/Relay and ARP Inspection in a two port VLAN on the right port for this Trusted Interface to be on and Enabled VLANs for ARP Inspection is set with ARP Inspection Status & ARP Packet Validation enabled and in DHCP Snooping/Relay with DHCP Snooping Status & Verify MAC Address enabled and VLAN set for DHCP Snooping. Does not stop this.
Maybe just maybe if the DHCP Snooping looked at the Option 1 & 3 for the Subnet Mask & Router to know the range that the ARP Inspection can drop ARP for target IP's outside that range because like I said to send from your IP to an IP outside the subnet your in you send to the ISP gateway MAC where it will be routed only then would that Dynamic ARP Inspection work as I was hoping for but sadly no.
So please tell me why I can't simply drop ARP for given target/sender IP's is their another way (and NAT is not a solution) that ideally makes ARP for from 77.96.238.3 as the sender for a request for a target IP of 10. for all of 172.16. to 172.31. for all of 192.168 and 169.254. NOT reach my ISP BUT allows ARP from 77.96.238.3 as the sender for a request for a target IP within the given subnet to my ISP for a reply.
A million THANK YOU to anyone for helping me with this

I really do not get why providing a config would help because if you have a config that does what I need should it not be you to provide a config or tell me how? Why not tell me how if you know how? because I need to understand how if you know what I need to do.

  • Need Help In Solving Rotation Image Problem

    1 down vote favorite
    Hi guys ,
I need your help please. I have spent hours trying to solve it but not working.
I have an image i am rotating when the user clicks on a button. But it is not working.
I would like to see the image rotating gradually till it stops but it doesn't. This it what it does. After i click the button, i don't see it rotating. But when i minimize and maximize the main window, i see the image just rotate(flip) fast like that. It does the rotation but i don't see it as it is doing. It just rotate in a second after minimize and maximize the main window.
I thimk the problem deals with updating the GUI as it is rotating but i don't know how to fix it.

..Please i have trimed down the code for easy reading. ..Perhaps I am just lazy, but I don't actually like reading code until I've seen it compile in my editor & run. That is why I will advise that for better help sooner, post an SSCCE. For SSCCEs that use images, either generate an image in the code, or hot-link to an image available on the internet. I offer some [images at my site|http://pscode.org/media/#image] that you can hot-link to.
