Need help re: Google Calendar (CalDAV)
Hi everyone-
I use Exchange for my work account, so until 4.0 comes out I am left syncing my personal Google Calendar through CalDAV.
I noticed earlier today that many of the new entries that I made in Google Calendar were not syncing to my iPhone.
So, I went into the Settings on the iPhone and deleted that CalDAV account, and then set it up again as a new account.
That appears to have been a huge mistake, as it now is not showing up as a calendar at all. For example, there is no option to select a default calendar, and it is not showing up on the calendar app.
Any ideas how to fix this????
I really need to get this working again asap, and I hope I didn't screw this up for good.

Yes, adding it through either the built-in Google settings and through CalDav gives the same result, muted dark colors. The built-in Google account option essentially uses CalDav and CardDav to add calendars and contacts. Thanks for the suggestion.

If they're dumping my 2 year old bit of kit it's a poor show, I will keep it going as it still does a job for me, it's a shame I'll may have to move away from apple and I guess iTunes too.That I know I've read that but unless someone comes up with a work around, before then, I'll move to google or yahoo calendars.
I'm Mac through and through, a total fan but like alot of people these day I'm having to cut back, yes it's nice I'm not paying the mobileme sub anymore but I can't justify buying a new ipod or stretching to an iphone.

I am using N9 and have couple of calendars synched to Google calendars (using the iphone settings on Google).
For some reason it seems to get into a state, where no synchronization happens.
Now I have a theory -- If I added a "Task" (tehtävä) on the N9 (synchronized) calendar the synchronization starts to fail. Removing the task makes it work again. Normal calendar entries work.
Can anybody confirm this?
I also see that my tasks on the Google calendar side do not so on the N9.

So far it seems that my sync works, after I removed tasks from the phone. Although I have seen activity only on one calendar, the other two are more read-only for me.
While examining the issue I did not yet find any related log files, but I did not dig very deep. Also I am not sure, but it seems that some of the logs only appear when the phone is in developer mode. (And I do not keep that active normally for security reasons),

Well my problem is that i'm facing a fact that i need a calendar object just like that one when u click the time down there in the taskbar, i need to embedd it in my java windows application.
To be more clear, if u're familiar with the Visual Basic.NET environment, just the kind of calendars that i need is found there, in which it displays a small box which i can select the months, and accordingly i can select the specific date i need.

Need help to populate Calendar/Time Dimension
Hi,
I need experts help in populating the calender dimension with the table structure as below. I need to populate this table from year 1900 to 2100. I was able to get the sql queries for some of the columns from web but could not find any help for most columns like 'DAY_IN_QUARTER'. If somebody could help me with a PL/SQL procedure to populate this table, I really appreciate your help. I know this is too much to ask for, but I have a time constraint in completing this!! :-(
DM_CALENDAR_ID is the primary kay with date in julian format.

Hi,
These questions might be really simple because I think I'm one of the only people in the UK that's never used an IM before. I thought that as my phone (Palm Pre) could do instant messaging I'd have a go at it. I already had a google mail account (set up to sync my calendars) so thought it'd be easiest to use google chat. However, I seem to only be able to chat with people I've invited or who have invited me to to be their firends, but I can't work out how to do this on the phone.
Yesterday my husband used his phone (HTC desire) to invite me to be his friend on google chat but I couldn't see the invite on my phone. I had to log into my google account on my PC and accept the invitation before we could chat. I also can't see how I invite other people via my phone. I tried logging onto my google account using my phone's browser, but it didn't seem to display the bit where you type the name to invite people.
My other question is probably even more basic. If I have friends on MSN or other messenger services can I contat them using my googlechat service on my phone, or do I have to set up an account for each different messaging service.

I installed Sunbird in one computer and my calendar has all my infos, events, and task that i would like to see on another computer that i just downloaded Sunbird into. Also, is it possible I can access Sunbird on my iphone?

I'm working on a calendar project, just a practise thingy to learn java. I borrowed bits of code here and there, and wrote a lot on my own. I've managed to patch together a piece of code that generates html code for the calendar and returns everything as a string.
This is it (the formatter seems to get a bit confused by the html, especially the "p" tags):

The beginning of the calendar won't show! Everything from and with the row which includes today. For example, if today is in the very beginning of the month, all of the calendar is shown. If today is one of the last days of the month, only the last row is shown. It is extremely frustrating, and I just can't seem to find the solution. I'd really appreciate of someone would like to take a look at it. Don't hesitate to ask questions about the coding, I'll be glad to try to explain anything (even I think the code is a mess).
Here are two screenshots to illustrate my problem. As you might notice, the output is slightly different than shown in the code. It no longer outputs "no events today" if there are no events to display. Also, there seems to have been a problem with the naming of the files. Naturally, the file called "w problems" is the one that shows the calendar without problems, and vice versa.

Maybe I just scrambled everything up with the google mobile apps, bb desktop manager, bluetooth stuff and the BB desktop apps. I don't know but I am really frustrated because the calendar and appt sync with my work calendar was the main reason I bought it. If you think I can try the google apps will you please write back to me and walk me through the set-up for my calendar? I'll sing your praises.....

ICal - Need Help With Multiple Calendars
Greetings All,
Is there an easy and fast way to merge multiple iCal calendars into one? I have probably close to 100 calendars all due to iTunes & Mobile Me syncing! Problem is with OS X Lion it doesn't seem to be straightforward! Any help would be hugely appreciated. My aim is to merge all of these into one and then sync this across two Macs, an iPhone and an iPad.
The only way I have found so far involves exporting each calendar one by one and this is just taking far too long to do.

EdmondI want to get rid of the two arrays.
I simply joined these two arrays into one array and I select an array subset for the xy graph but that does not work.
Now the two data arrays get mixed again in the chart.
I can't see what is wrong. I have tried many things like indexing the array before the xy graph, directly wiring the array to the graph etc. nothing worked.
Please help.

Need Help with google partnerpage mail.
We have our domain setup with google partnerpages. When I sign in I sign in with my [email protected] - my company. It is a google account but it is not a gmail domain.
I cannot get the iphone to retreive or send email from this account. I have tried both gmail and other mail accounts. gmail will not work because it will not allow you to delete the "gmail.com" part of the signon.
Has anyone got this working? Can anyone?l1ghtm4n,
Google lists pop3 servers to use on their site for your domain.
With that information you can configure the account under the "Other" option for the POP3 protocol.

Need HELP with a Calendar problem
When family members were having trouble accessing a recently published calendar, I tested the "subscribe" link for the calendar; I clicked on the link. That action made me a subscriber to my own calendar and now I cannot update or manage that calendar. (what was I thinking???)
How do I unsubscribe? I cannot unpublish, or take any other action with this calendar.
Any one have any ideas?

How do i get my google calendar back on pc icloud deleted it
Can I keep my contacts on the ipad but not have icloud sync the calendar? I need to get google calendar back on my PC so I can sync with my Droid for my business. icloud calendar does not have reminders which I really need on my phone. Does anyone know how to get my calendar back please?

Thank you for the details of the calendar issue you are experiencing on your iPhone 4S. On an iOS device, you can configure previous events to sync to your device in the Calendar settings.
If you go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, you can set your calendars to sync "All Events" or events ranging from 2 weeks back to 6 months back.
Several settings in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars affect Calendar and your calendar accounts. These include:
Syncing of past events (future events are always synced)

Need Help with the Total and Grand Total

I have posted a question couple of days ago regarding the COUNT and AVERAGES, for a minute i thought i got the work around, but the problem still exists. I'm trying to find the average work done and average revenue generated. I have to do this by the location,
employee id , date and the number of hours. Below is a sample for february 2014. I have two averages for the work done AvgWorkDone=(sum of work done/count of workingdays in month), the second one is AverageWorkDone1... which i skewed by multiplying by 16 (since

If you see the above report the number of days are adding upto 368, this causes the Individual Averages to be fine but the GrandToatl of the Average is messed up. If i multiply by 16 the Individual Averages are messed up, but the GrandAverage is coming RIGHT.
Please need help where i can get both the individual and the grand averages right.

Finally i found a solution. a) I have a time dim from the ware house and its joined to the fact table based on the dateid, since the fact table is getting only the data for the working days , the ware house time dim is showing only those days as count.
b) I created a new time dim in SSAS TIMEDIMSSAS
c) I joined the new TIMEDIMSSAS to the warehouse time dimension and the fact table and created new measure AvgWorkDone over time and Avg Rev over time.
I'm getting what i wanted. BUT here is a new problem , when i select multiple months the grand total (which should be Average is showing wrong average and i'm not sure why), can anyone please help ?

The values were supposed to be (1.59+.97+9.52)/3=4.02 and NOT 4.17 for Revenue. Similarly for WorkDone (105.79+64.66+634.55)/3=268.33 and NOT 277.68
Please can some one suggest what is going wrong here?

I do not want to find a way every time and spend hours to connect THunderbird to Google calendar every new release. Why don't U solve this problem finally? Not everyone has special computer skills to find good APi or installation info, and many bullshits.
