Need help trying to reset Windows 8.1 apps

I've been having issues with my apps for a while now, and I feel I am not the only one. I'm not sure when it happened or what cause the issue (it seems like it started happening after an update), but I feel I am on the verge of figuring out a fix (the very
fix I've been looking for), I just need a little more help...
The issue is that when I try to open apps I am immediately brought to the "desktop view". The apps are displayed as if they are open, but when I try to switch windows the same thing happens, I am brought back to the "desktop view" (are
you following?) Up until recently this has happened with every single app. But I've come across some code for the command prompt for 3 specific apps: the windows store, the camera app, and pc settings:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\camera\AppxManifest.xml
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\ImmersiveControlPanel\AppxManifest.xml
These worked and I am now able to access the store and my pc settings, and now my camera app. What this code seems to do is find the 'Appxmanifest.xml' files and resets the app. And I have also located the rest of my apps appxmaniffest.xml files ("C:\Program
Files\WindowsApps")...
My question for all of you is this... I was unsuccessful in trying to "reroute" the command prompt to the location of the other appxmanifest.xml files. How would I have to motify the above code so it knows where to find them?

Meanwhile reset the Windows store:
1. Use the “Windows Key + R” keyboard shortcut to open the Run command.
2. Type: wsreset.exe
3. Click “OK”

Chris… No I was using the desktop version, I cannot stand the M version, guess it would be nice if I had a touch screen..…when I finally got my computer to download the Acrobat Standard XI program, not sure how it worked, but I think it had something to do with Windows 8 not allowing itself to update all my apps and programs, even though my computer was set to automatically update any Windows/Microsoft updates…finally I got my Windows updates done, it downloaded like 36 files…and then I had to restart,(which also could have been playing a factor)…so finally got the program downloaded on Windows 8…but then I tried to run the new program and it says install serial #...so I assume that it was asking for the serial # for the Acrobat Standard XI…finally after googling the web, I found somebody that said try your older serial # from the previous program, and when I did this it finally works.. you would think with a brand new Windows computer I would have no problem installing Windows Updates…somebody needs to make a sticky about this, I am sure I am not the only one haiving this problem..

Then restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

Before trying to remove try re-installing CS3 right on top of the current install. Often re-installing Photoshop on top of itself fixes the install. If it does be sure to apply the cs3 updates.

Log in to your MyVerizon (verizonwireless.com) and on the Overview page scroll down to I WANT TO... in the third column of boxes, under DEVICE, the 3rd one down is "Activate or Switch Device". Click on that and follow the instructions. If there is an issue, it will instruct you to call customer service or you will be connected to customer service automatically. If you are restoring from an icloud backup you are going to have to erase a content and setting and while in the setup prompts you will get the option to restore from an icloud back...that's the only time you will get the option to restore from an icloud back and that's during setup

What's your problem is 1) your ipad froze or 2) you now have no internet connection?

You can only use apps that are compatible with your dvice and ios version.
The secons gen ipod touch can only go to 4.2.1.
If you are running 4.2.1 then you can only use apps that require 4.2.1 or lower.
