Need help with document that turned into alias for Application

I'm trying to help my dad with a problem, not sure exactly what he did, but he had a page document in a documents folder on his desktop. He moved it into a *files folder* on his desktop. Somehow the document seems to have been turned into an alias for for his application folder. When I click on the file name, the document doesn't open, it opens up the Application folder.
I'm VERY new to Mac.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

USe the trace function to analyze what happens and what fails to happen in the code you showed. trace the conditional values to see if they are set up to allow a shot when you press the key

I need help with re installing my apple account for itunes.

Had problems with my itune account, so I uninstalled and now need help with re-installing the program with the songs I have already purchased.

Your iTunes account is something at the iTunes Store online. It is not possible to uninstall it. Do you mean the iTunes application? Even if you delete the application and restore it, it should not have deleted your iTunes library (essentially the contents of the iTunes folder in Music) on your computer unless you did a separate steep and specifically deleted that too. You need to tell us what it was you deleted.

fgl_grant_year 10 period 1 = for account 7600 its $100 and $100 for period 2 you see 100 dollars again this is not to be added this is the carried over balance. which remains $100.
so im trying to write a query that basically does the following.
im given a period for the sake of this example lets say period 1 i get nothing else. I have to find the greates grant year grab the amount for period 14(which is the total from the previous year) and add it to the amount of the current period. in this case period 1 grnt_year 11
so the expected outcome should be $700

hope that makes sense so in other words with the new data above. if i was querying period two of grant year 11. i would end up with $800
because the greatest year is 11 it contains a period 0 with amount of $400 so my total should be
period 2 amount $ 600
period 0 amount $ 400 - period 2 amount of $600 = 200
600+200 = $800
if i query period 1 of grant 360055 i would just end up with 800 of grnt year 10.
i have tried to modify that query you supplied to me with no luck. I have tried for several day but im embarrased to say i just can get it to do what im trying to do .

Need help with BBP_CUF_BADI - Adding your own screens for custom fields.

We are on SRM 5.0 and we need your help to add the custom fields to a separate screen.
All the item level custom fields are visible in Item Details screen under Basic Data and Header level custom fields are visible under Additional Specifications. Instead we like to add a new Tree as Custom fields just like Basic data or Cost Assignment in item details screen.
The documentation for the BADI BBP_CUF_BADI does not say how to include a new tree structure. I did everything mentioned in the BADI like creating a screen and two funciton modules and generating the template. But it does not work. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I went through other threads on this forum. So please do not waste your time pointing me to the old threads.
Please provide sample code if possible.

I have heard from one project site that they are able to fulfill the requirement via creating a webdynpro and linking the same to user role.

Need Help with switching from Desktop to Laptop for Iphone 4s.

I have an Iphone 4s and I was wondering if it is possible to go from a desktop to a laptop and be able to sync my phone and be able to save everything that I have on my iphone and be able to transfer it to my laptop, such as pics,texts,contacts, apps etc. I have already synced over my music from my desktop to my laptop via flashdrive, i have over 4,000 songs and im not looking to do something like that again. If anyone could get back to me and please let me know if there is a simple solution for this problem that would be great.Thank you.

You can import pictures from the camera roll to the laptop, you can also create a backup of the iPhone on the laptop, which will take your texts. You need to either sync your contacts to a supported application on the computer, or you can use iCloud. Apps are part of your iTunes. You would need to transfer the purchases on your Apple ID to the new laptop and iTunes. Remember to authorize the computer before you do this. Just remember, the first time you go to sync the phone to the new iTunes, it is going to tell you that the phone is connecting to a different library and that you would erase all the music, but since you have moved all of the music to the new laptop, that won't matter.

If you mean "fill up the table FREESPACE" by using "select...into..." then it is totally wrong. You cannot do it in plsql also.
Use this:

I need help with 'Documents & Data' taking up all the space on my iPhone

Hello, I have searched for days on the internet for a way to solve my problem but nothing and I really mean NOTHING seems to work at all.
I can't buy any software either.
When I go into Settings>iCloud Documents & Data are off and have been off all the time. Yet I STILL have Documents & Data taking up 5 GB of my phone and I don't have much space either.
I have hopelessly tried deleting most of my messages and NONE and I mean NONE of the space has been given to me, nothing changed but my messages completely disappeared. No I do not use iCloud and I have the latest software updates. My phone is not jailbroken. I even tried deleting most of my apps and installing them again but that didn't work either. Photos take a small amount of space on my iPhone.
I really hope someone can help me this is a really big issue for me and I do not fancy resetting the phone back to its Factory settings.
I am new to the apple forum so sorry if this isn't in the right category or something. Thank you in advance. I also do not really fancy going all the way to the centre of the city to go to a Genius Bar.
By the way, a few minutes ago I tried backing up my iPhone and syncing it again and a message popped out telling me that I need additional 4 GB of space in order to let it sync and I do not understand this, Documents & Data take more and more of my space every time I look. Also all the messages I delete come right back when I turn the phone on and off.

Need help with buttons that react to rollover that create a scoll effect

hey everyone,
I'm new to flash and actionscript and am having trouble
creating what I need. I want to create a scroll area that scrolls
left and right when you rollover a left or right arrow. what I want
to scroll looks like a piece of film negative that has about 20
thumbnails in it. I only want it to show about 4 thumbs at once
though (thus the scroll is needed). so when the mouse rolls over
the arrows, it scrolls, and when it rolls out it stops in place.
eventually, i will add links to the thumbs for a better image.
I've checked out a couple tutorials on scrollbars and such
thinking that I can just go in and modify the code a bit, but the
two turorials i've tried to do have left some of the pieces out...
not very helpful when you don't know actionscript well. does
anybody have any tips or ideas?

The value of the variable should increase on every click, so lets add a true statement as a condition.

last if our purpose is solved, here we have clicked the button 4 times, so that has updated the value of our counter to 4, so as soon as the counter exceeds the value, we want the project to continue.

This will help you in pressing a button 4 times, and i think you can also add actions to show and hide 'zeros' in your project.

Need help with loading MySQL results into a query

Hello, I need some help figuring out why my tree component
isn't being populated with my MySQL results.
I have a table of categories:
ParentID - CategoryID - Name
Every top-level category has a ParentID of 0 (zero). I'm
using php and a recursive function to build an array of nested
results, then passing those results back to Flex, making those
results a new ArrayCollection, then assigning that to the
dataProvider of the tree.
Result: my tree component is blank
Suspicion: it has to be a way with how my array is being
formed in PHP. If I play around with how it is formed I can get
some odd results in the tree, so I know it's not a problem with the
data being passed back to Flex.

Why not just build xml and send it back? Xml is hierarchical
by nature.
However, if you want to stick with the nested ACs then are
you using a labelFunction() with your tree? The node values are in
different properties, so you can't just set labelField.

Need help with formula that puts values in Field1 based on value of field2

I have two custom fields in the Contact record - Date met and Time Known. Date met is a standard date field that is entered by the user. I then wanted Time Known to automatically populate with specific values based on a formula I wrote. However, the formula/function is not working properly.
I'm also not sure if this should be a pre or post field formula, field validation, or workflow. Please help! Here's the formula I have so far. It worked for a new record created, but now doesn't work at all for some reason (probably from my testing).

This says the following:
If Date Met is less than 365 from today, then enter "Less than One Year" into the Time Known field;
if date met is less than 1095 (but greater than 365) days from today, then enter "One to Three Years"
if date met is less than 1825 (but greater than 1095) days from today, then enter "Three to Five Years"
if date met is less than 3650 (but greater than 1825) days from today, then enter "Five to Ten Years"
otherwise, enter "Ten Plus Years" for all values greater than 3650.
What am I doing wrong? I'm new to expressions and formulas in Oracle.

Hi, You have to do @ 2 places. For setting the field value @ the time of creating a new record using the field default feature. Check post default as the calculated value is dependent on some other field that you are going to set @ the time of creation. For updating the field whenever the record is modified, use workflows

Need help with laptop that won't start up

I have a Toshiba c655 laptop that had some viruses on it; *thought* I'd fixed it and all was well. When I turned off and re-started the computer, the screen showed "Toshiba Innovations", and at the bottom the options of pressing F2 for startup or F12 for boot manager...this screen is quickly replaced by a black screen with a white cursor in the top left hand corner. When I hit F2 or F12 and go to those screens, I'm not computer savvy enough to know what options (if any) I should choose that might help me to get this thing started....seems nothing happens with any of the buttons I push. The scenario I just described is the only thing this computer will do now. Any help? Thank you so much!

it sounds like missing system/boot files on hdd
1. try to press f2 during toshiba screen to go in bios and load default settings.
2. press f12 and select boot from cd if you have system rapair disk...or any live cd to backup your files
3. the last option ... press 0 on toshiba screen for system recovery...this will delete all information
