Need help with website appearance on ipad

My website is finally looking ok on all the various pc browsers and I figured out a workaround so that the menubar works properly on the Ipad. The only thing I'm unhappy with is that the page title is crunched up at the top of the page on the ipad.  It's supposed to be centered and that's how it looks everywhere else.  How do I fix the problem?  Website is nhcstar.org

If you have CS6, you could use Fluid Grid Layouts to create a responsive layout for mobiles, tablets and desktops.

    Hi,
I removed your phone number as you will just get cold called
BC support does not call you for help and people here can help you here. Just saying "need help" is not much use though, we need to know what kind of help you need.

  • Newbie Needs Help With Website

I am new to Dreamweaver and am undertaking the task of building my church website. I have placed the images in tables on and centered. I have also set the table width to 60% so that it will display properly in different resolutions. However the links I have created on the left move over the images when the screen size is reduced. My question is what do I need to do with the links to keep them locked in place when the screen size is reduced.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Below is the code that is used for the links

I can't see any tables being used on the entry page.. all you are using is absolutely positioned divs. Not sure why you are using AP divs, are you?
Unless you understand how these work, you will be in a lot of bother, one of them being the exact problem you mention.... read this article before doing anything else:
    http://apptools.com/examples/pagelayout101.php
That layout can be quite easily achieved by a beginner using a table layout - one for header, a nested table layout for the left and right columns and then another for the footer area.
Also a simple css layout would work, but you'd again need to understand css positioning.
The page took a heck of a long time to load and its because all you've used is images....  type your url into the box at this site and you'll see that the image sizes are just too big, causing the slow load times.
    http://analyze.websiteoptimization.com/wso
Had a look at one of the inner pages (history) and again you are using an image for the text area - why would you do that...
Firstly, it would cause a speed issue and more importantly would cause you problems if you wanted the page spidered by the search engines... no text on a page and the SEs won't find you.
Sorry to say this, but I'd start over, but before you do, please read up on how to create a page (using either tables or css) that isn't as fragile as the one you have and that will be consistent across different browsers.
Here are some links to help you get started:
    http://www.w3schools.com/
    http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/dreamweaver/css.html
    http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/tableless_layout_dw8.html
    http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/css_concepts.html
The last one on the list may suit you to start with, as it takes a FWs comp and shows you how to build the site in Dreamweaver.

  • Need help with blue tooth on ipad

    Hello everyone,
I am having problems with my blue tooth. I cannot connect to an iphone plus a logitech bluetooth wireless speaker.
    PLEASE HELP:(

    How Bluetooth Works

You can connect multiple bluetooth devices, like a keyboard and headphones. However, not two that use audio. That's because the audio channel over A2DP can only play to one device at a time.  Its a limitation of the audio feed via bluetooth - there is no split or simultaneous feed to multiple devices.  A2DP is a uni-directional 2 channel (ie. stereo) audio feed only.

min-width: 780px;/* a min-width may be desirable to keep this layout from getting too narrow. This keeps line length more readable in the side columns. IE6 does not respect this declaration. */
              background-color: blue;
margin: 0 auto; /* the auto value on the sides, coupled with the width, centers the layout. It is not needed if you set the .container's width to 100%. */

    .header {
              background-color: #6F7D94;
/* ~~ These are the columns for the layout. ~~
    1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements within these divs have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.
    2) No margin has been given to the columns since they are all floated. If you must add margin, avoid placing it on the side you're floating toward (for example: a right margin on a div set to float right). Many times, padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule must be broken, you should add a "display:inline" declaration to the div's rule to tame a bug where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.
    3) Since classes can be used multiple times in a document (and an element can also have multiple classes applied), the columns have been assigned class names instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar divs could be stacked if necessary. These can very easily be changed to IDs if that's your preference, as long as you'll only be using them once per document.
    4) If you prefer your nav on the right instead of the left, simply float these columns the opposite direction (all right instead of all left) and they'll render in reverse order. There's no need to move the divs around in the HTML source.

  • Siri, sounds, video, alarm not working. Need help with backing up my iPad so I can do a factory reset....need help doing that also.

Siri, sounds, alarm, videos not working. How do I back up my iPad and how do I do a factory reset?

    Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
(How to update your iOS device
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623)
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings  (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new first (to isolate cause of the issue). Then from backup if necessary.

iCloud: Troubleshooting Find My iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4006
Device does not appear in Find My iPhone
    This can occur if:
The date on your device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) is incorrect. Choose Settings > General > Date & Time to check and set the date.
Your device is not up-to-date. It needs to be running iOS 5 or later.
Your iCloud account is not configured on your device. Choose Settings > iCloud and enter your iCloud account information.
You have multiple iCloud accounts entered on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Only one account can have Find My iPhone turned on at a given time. Log in to Find My iPhone with your other iCloud accounts until your device is listed.
There's a scheduled maintenance or another issue affecting Find My iPhone. Check the System Status site to see if this is the case.
Your device has lost network connectivity. If you have access to your device, and it appears to have an active Internet connection, enable and then disable Airplane mode. If you continue to have issues, turn the device off and back on.
Find My Mac can only locate your Mac if it is connected to the Internet via a known Wi-Fi network. If your Mac is connected to the Internet only by an Ethernet cable, Find My Mac will not be able to locate your Mac.
Device appears in Find My iPhone, but is offlineThis can occur if:
Your device is powered off, such as when the battery has run out. Note that the remaining battery for the device, if it's connected to the Internet, displays in the upper-right corner of the information pane of the selected device. You can still play a sound on, send a message to, issue a lock request, or initiate an erase of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The command will be received after the device is turned on and regains its Internet connection.
Your iPhone’s cellular service has been terminated by your wireless service provider. If you contacted your service provider to report your device lost or stolen before locating your phone, and they deactivated your SIM card or account, this would be expected. If this is the case, you may no longer be able to locate, display a message on, or erase your iPhone. For more information, read about what to do if your device is lost or stolen.
Your iPad, iPod Touch, or Mac is asleep and not connected to a known Wi-Fi network. You will still be able to request an erase, send a message to display and lock your device, or request that a sound be played. The command will be processed when your device is awakened and connected to the Internet.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    Sterling

  • I need Help with a website I've created

I need help with a website I've created (www.jonathanhazelwood.com/lighthouse) I created the folowing site with dreamweaver at my current resolution 1366 by 768. Looks great on my screen resolution but if it is viewed on other resolutions the menu moves and some of the text above and below. How can I keep all content centered and working like it does on 1366 by 768 on all resolutions. The htm to my site is below I started off with a blank template through dreamweaver CS5.

    1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the div. The elements within this div have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.

Look at all the apdiv's you have.  Those are absolutely positioned layers.  I'm assuming by your post that you are very new to Dreamweaver and HTML and CSS.  I would highly recommend not using absolutely positioned layers until you have a better grasp on HTML and CSS.
Looking at your code I would suggest that you consider using one of Dreamweaver's built in, or downloadable templates as a starting point and work from there.

hi i need help with my ipod nano i want to transfer my music from the ipod to the itunes so that i can be able to transfer the music to my ipad can you help me with that ?

You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store.  However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like"iPod transfer," you should get some links.  (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to your iTunes library, and then sync your iPad.

Need help with being double charged on my icloud account when purchasing extra storage for my ipad?

I had this same problem on my 4S. I fixed it by restoring the phone to factory defaults. Previously, I had taken the additional step of restoring from backup but, as soon as I did, the problem returned. The fix is a hassle as I now have to reinstall my apps but at least I can manage mail on the phone.
The problem also occurred on my iPad2 but I'm not restoring it as it's a serious hassle (see above) and I don't actually read much mail on the device.
As a side note, I noticed incredibly high load averages (5+ processes for 1, 5, and 15 minutes; 12+ for 1 and 5 minutes at one point) as well as CPU usage that didn't drop below 15% (apparently all user processes, system seemed to be about normal). As could be expected, this also lead to incredibly rapid battery depletion.
I can't tell what processes were hogging the CPU as neither of my devices are jailbroken and Apple doesn't seem to like 'top' much.
