Need help with Workflow Issue: One notification sending out non-stop email.

Hi,
We've created a custom PO Approval Workflow based on standard PO Approval Workflow and we've had this for a while now. Last week, we encountered an issue where the notification keeps on sending email to the Suppliers and Buyers. We found out that the particular notification_id in the WF_NOTIFICATIONS table keeps getting updated by the minute setting the MAIL_STATUS to INVALID then back to SENT then back to INVALID again and so on. We think that whatever is updating this table is the cause but up until now we haven't found what's updating it. Below are some information of our instance.
Oracle Applications: 11.5.10.2
Database: 10.2.0.4 64 bit
OS: AIX
Custom Workflow based on revision 115.127.11510.16
Customizations:
- Created custom notification XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP based on EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
- Created custom message XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF based on EMAIL_PO_PDF.
- Added #WFM_CC to XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF.
- Created custom attribute XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER and set as Performer to notification XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
- Created custom function XX_ADDTL_STARTUP_VAL right after function "Set Workflow Startup Values". This function sets #WFM_CC attribute and XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER attribute.
Not sure if the customizations have anything to do with the issue since not all POs have this issue. Have anyone experience this? Would really appreciate any help with this.

parked document. (In order for this transaction to automatically trigger what configuration needs to be done).

You can borrow the example code that ships with both NI-DAQ (in case you are doing NI-DAQ function calls) and Labview. The best examples to start with are the ones that have the prefix STC.

Need help with Workflow notification mailer setup

Hi all,
I have the following requirement from my client:
"IT has a project request from the Accounting Department to automate payments for Canadian vendors. One of the things that will need to happen on this project is setting up the Workflow Notification Mailer in AP so emails can be sent to vendors notifying them of payment. We only want to support Canadian vendors – payment processing for US vendors will continue to be handled as it is today."
Please let me know how this can be done as I have no knowledge of setting up workflow notification mailer for a particular item.

Lot more information in Oracle Applications System Admin guide. To process messages from only a given itemtype you will use Correlation ID parameter of the mailer. But there are lot of other things that you should consider for such a set up. You would be having a build up of messages in WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue that you may want to manually take care of cleaning up.

Need help with WMI code that will send output to db

'm new to WMI code writing, so I need some help with writing code that we can store on our server. I want this code to run when a user logs into their computer
and talks to our server. I also want the code to:
* check the users computer and find all installed patches
* the date the patches were installed
* the serial number of the users computer
* the computer name, os version, last boot up time, and mac address
and then have all this output to a database file. At the command prompt I've tried:
wmic qfe get description, hotfixid
This does return the patch information I'm looking for, but how do I combine that line of code with:
wmic os get version, csname, serialnumber, lastbootuptime
and
wmic nicconfig get macaddress
and then get all this to output to a database file?

I know you don't want to tell me the code that will print this out to a database (regardless if it's Access or SQL), and that's find. But maybe you can tell me this. Is it possible to have the results of this sent to a database file or do I need to go into
SQL and write code for SQL to go out and grab the data from an Excel file or txt file? If I'm understanding this stuff so far, then I suspect that it can be done both ways, but the code needs to be written correctly for this to happen. If it's true, then which
way is best (code in PowerShell to send information to SQL or SQL go get the information from the text file or Excel file)?

Need help with Photoshop and "Licensing for this product has stopped working" message. Adobe fix isn't working.

I am still using CS3. A while back I received an error: "Licensing for this product has stopped working" for my CS3 programs. I used the recovery program suggested by Adobe and was able to get Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver to work, but I still can't open Photoshop or In Design. I went back to the Adobe site and did every other trick they suggested to fix the error, but nothing has worked.
I then tried to uninstall photoshop from my CS3 suite (so I could reinstall) but got a JavaScript Alert: "Critical errors were found in set up. Please see set up log for file details." Seeing as I am not the best with the behind the scenes technical stuff, I have no idea what this means or where the set up log even is. Any help anyone can provide?
I have had CS3 installed on my computer for over a year. I started having problems about 4 months ago.

I am having similar problem. Can't open any of CS3 programs after trying to download Dreamweaver Trial, which wouldn't work because "couldn't remove DLM extention" error message. So now I can not run Illustrator, Photoshop, or even Adobe Reader. These are properly licensed for about a year. I get "License for product has stopped working". Have 2 pending cases open with Adobe support (one for Dreamweaver trial, one for license problem) since 8/3 with NO ANSWERS - It says answers within 1-3 business days. Was on phone support hold today for over 3 hours before line went dead with no help. What is up with adobe support? Can anyone help?

Moving to Uk and Need help with Voltage Issue

I recently (less then a month) bought a new Intel based iMac (17/1.83/512/160/COMBO/AP-USA) with built in iSight, and now I am moving to UK for a year. I want to take my iMac with me. Can someone help me with true answer on how to solve the voltage issue. I did some research on here and else where but could not come to any conclusion yet.

Thank you very much for your help. I am well aware of plug/pin adaptor to connect US plug in to UK outlet, I have been UK and Euro frequently but always with my Macbook which never had any problem cause all notebooks comes with power adaptor. This is first time I will be going with iMac that doesn't have power adaptor to convert voltage.
All I need to know can I just plug directly into wall outlet or will need a convertor in between. I am not sure is my iMac has auto switching inbuilt.

Need help with facebook chat and notifications

Hey, guys.
Since I update to software version 10.2.1.2102 I havent been able to recieve facebook chat messages on the blackberry hub. Before the update anytime I had my phone conected to a wireless network it automatically recieved facebook messages on the hub. Now, although I can send messages, and recieve messages if that contact happens to be online, once I close the hub the conversation is gone and I do not get any more messages, only the "new messages from *person*" e-mail after some time.
Also, I do not get notifications about people's birthdays. I get the "Next event in x hours" notification on the lock screen, if I do go into the calendar I see the notification at the top of the page, but it does not ring to warn me of my contacts birthdays.
Can anyone help me with this two problems? Thank you!

I need help with heat issue!!!!!

Hey every one this is my first post, i got my imac 3 days ago. I have no previews experience with the macs so i need some advise on operarting heat temps. Well i first came to realise that i got heat issues on the 2 day while i was playing StarCraft 2, the back of the mac was really hot and started to affect the performance, it stopped playing smoothly and started lagging. Also the fans did not idle while the temp rise.

Need help with languages issue in iOS app created in Flash Pro CS5.5

Hello all,
I'm using Flash Pro CS5.5 on a Mac running Snow Leopard to create an iOS app by publishing with 'AIR for iOS' from inside Flash Pro. Everything works great except after I submit my app to the Apple App Store and it is approved, the App Store listing claims that the app is available in a ton of different languages including English, German, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, etc. Since this app is a word game and all the words are in English, this is a pretty significant issue.
If I view the binary details for the app in iTunes Connect, it shows that localizations are active for all of the different languages. This information is read from the .ipa file that is submitted.
If I unzip the .ipa file, I can see that folders have been created for all of the localizations (i.e. en.lproj, es.lproj, fr.lproj, etc.). If I delete any of those folders, the .ipa will give me a 'resources modified' error at install.
I have also tried setting the plist attribute 'CFBundleLocalizations' to 'English' by editing the 'app.xml'. I have verified that the attribute has been changed correctly but it does not solve the issue. All of the localizations are still active.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So i recently updated my iPad mini to the latest software and i when i did i noticed that one of my books for school got deleted which is my Algebra 1 book, so i go to my purchased books and it says that it's downloading so just to double check i go to my shelf and nothing there it doesn't show the cover of the book or anything, and i really need this book for school to my homework, classwork,study... etc. So if you may have a solution please tell me!!!

Yes, Fusion will allow you to install the Windows OS, but the Windows OS is not included. Parallels Desktop and Virtual Box free download from Sun are other alternatives for running multiple different OSes along with the Mac OS. With Mac OS 10.5 you can use the built-in feature called BootCamp to install and boot Windows on the Intel Mac, but not run it at the same time.
Try Crossover for Mac to run a Windows .exe, like Office, without the Windows OS. (only for Intel Macs) They also have a download trial version.
Of course, MS Office is available in a Mac-native version. Or you could run the free OpenOffice or NeoOffice which are mostly compatible with Office for PC files.

Need help with workflow: New iMac with SSD & HDD and Pegasus Promise

Hello everyone! I've decided to upgrade my iMac and ordered an i7 with the SSD and HDD drive configuration as well as the Pegasus Promise 12TB drive. I've been researching as to what's the best way to manage both the SSD and HDD drives and I really haven't seen an end-all answer. Now with the purchase of the Pegasus Promise, I'm more confused as to what's the best approach to take. Here are my thoughts:
1. Use the SSD as the boot and application drive and the HDD for the users folder.
2. Use the SSD as the boot and application drive, the HDD for the users folder, and photos and pics onto the Pegasus.
3. Use the SSD as the boot and application drive, the Pegasus for the users folder, and the HDD for ???
4. Just use the Pegasus drive as the boot drive and use it for everything. (being that it's a RAID drive, then all my files are backed-up already)
Majority of my space-filling files are my iTunes folder, tons of pictures from using Aperture, and iMovie for videos.

I'm working on a similar premise. i7, SSD, HDD, Promise raid, etc.
I'm nowhere near as savvy as a lot of the people here, but after a lot of research I decided that focusing on how the Pegasus gets configured is the most important for me. My concerns are for a business in photography, btw.
I can't budget the 12TB unit so I'm trying to make the most of either the R4-8tb or th R6-6tb.
I'm planning to launch the applications from the SSD. I will use the Mac HDD for typical non-photographic files, iTunes (mine's not so big), and standard fair. This is all backed up via Time Machine to a 3TB Western Digital MyBook for the time being.
As for the Pegasus, I believe I've settled on: taking an R6-6tb unit, placing the 6th drive in my firesafe from the moment I get it. Configuring the remaining 5 drives in a level 5 setup. Leaves me 4TB to get started and buys me a few succesful quarters to plan on daisy chaining another unit when memory is needed. This way, I may not have maximum possible drive space, but I've got a replacement drive on the ready should I experience a drive-failure. Then, I'm not sitting on pins and needles while I await a replacement; they'll simply be shipping me a new "spare".
I still need to actually speak to someone @ Promise to make sure this will work, as I stated: I"m learning as I go here. If this is an acceptable Raid setup, you would have 8TB available to you.
Personally, I am far more comfortable running systems in series and building the size as I go (to a point) than putting so much data in a single array.
[Edit] The raid bay is mainly for the Lightroom catalog, and I use standard external drives to store redundant backups off-site (1TB at a time).

*NEED HELP WITH MAGSAFE ISSUES*

So a few weeks back, i spilled soup on my computer (broke my keyboard), i bought and replaced the keyboard myself. In the process i also broke the cable that goes to the motherboard, and to the little board that has the magsafe connector as well as the microphone. I bought a new cable for that and replaced it.
All was working pretty well, except now when i plug my magsafe into my mba, it will charge the computer for a few minutes 0-3 mins to be exact, then will just stop working completely, the light will turn off, and the computer runs off of battery. however if i unplug the magsafe from the wall outlet and plug it back into the wall, it will charge the computer for another few minutes then stop charging..., its just a long endless cycle... Another odd thing, if i put the computer to sleep, shutdown, it will charge the computer fully... but if i have the computer on, and running a few programs, it shuts off... I did repair the computer by myself, and could have made an error in the process... the computer is a macbook air, mid-2012.

i have cleaned the magsafe and the area where you connect it
i used my sisters magsafe (Brand new magsafe)
The last issue is, i live way to far from the apple store, and cant afford to go their right no

Need help with Authorization Issue

Hi,
I have SAP_ALL authorization. When I try to view data or run query on the cube 0CP_SLSCA I get an error saying user not authorized
For my ID SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles have been added. As no roles have been created yet, no roles have been assigned.
Please help.. do I need to add any other profile to my ID (system is BI 7, does it follow some other concept too).

Need help with post_install issue

Hi, I'm kind of new at packaging so please bear with me.
I'm trying to put together an ABS recipe for partimage. Partimage has two... parts: a client, and a server. The server uses SSL and the final installation steps are to generate a key and certificate. This can be accomplished with the following three commands:
openssl req -new -x509 -outform PEM > /etc/partimaged/partimaged.csr
openssl rsa -in privkey.pem -out partimaged.key
openssl x509 -in partimaged.csr -out partimaged.cert -signkey partimaged.key
Not too hard. After that there's some mode changes but nothing tricky. The problem is that the first command is fairly user interactive. It asks for things like password, verify, country code, state, yada, yada, yada.
The strange part is that the first command works fine, interactively, prompting for the password and then verifying, but it errors out immediately after prompting for the country code (before any input). Now the commands work just fine from the CL and also from within a simple shell script I put them in.
There is something different about the post_install enviornment that is causing it to error out. Does anybody have any clue what could be causing this and how I can work around it?

No interactive commands should be run post_install. Instead have a post_install message that tells you to run those commands. Check something like the gift package or openoffice for examples.
