Need Script/Excel Macro for Deletion of Bulk users from Enterprise BO 3.1

Hello All,
I am planning to delete the Bulk Users (2500) from environment, I need a script or Excel Macro to perform it in my environment.
Please someone provide the JSP script or Excel Macro to perform the activity. Thank you so much in advance.

You should have the list of inactive users.Right?
It will always read the usernames from the txt file which will be entered by you and delete those user accounts.
You would need to save the attached sample as .jsp and can place it inside InfoViewApp application.
Also it would be best to test the code in a DEV/TEST environment before you actually try to touch your prod systems.
Try for few user accounts first and check the status.
Also it would be apt to take a back of your CMS DB before you run any script so that you can rollback to a save point.

    Not sure if you are talking about in the Mac App store or the iTunes store but the procedure is the same for both.
    Launch the appropriate store and click on the link to your account under Quick Links.
    Enter your password when prompted.
    You will come to an Account Information screen. Click on the Edit link to the right of Payment Type.
    Enter your new information here (or click the None button to leave it empty.)
    Click the Done button.
    You can now go on using the store.

    You can hide them via your computer's iTunes : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support
    The 'x' might not show on their top left corner (it might be invisible), but clicking where it should be should hide the app.

    I have a report where i need to display total amount for current month  to prior  12 months data...first column will be current month, second column is (current month-1),3rd col: (current month-2)....( current month-12).
    Is there any way I could use current date to get previous 12 months in  variables?
    For example: if  current date is 02/15/2010, I need get  data for 01/2010, 12/2009, 11/2009,....01/2009.
    For example: if I entered Month: 03  and year:2010 in prompt , then I need to get data for prior 12 months to that in the prompt for month:03?.

    The only way to do this is using restrictions on Universe... here you can have the restrictions for every month or a range using the user prompt and the system date.

    Hi, we are working on connection from BW 3.5 InfoBroadcaster into EP 6.
    When I try to publish BW webtemplate to EP to my personal portfolio I got follwoing messages:

       Processing setting  
        No write authorization for personal portfolio of user AC3339 
        File 'ZM_P2P_SCORECARD_ORG_HIER_STAT' Was Successfully Created in the Portal</i>"
    Unfortunatelly, after this I cannot find this report in EP. Can anyone help us with this error?

    Did you setup authorizations as described:
    On BW side: You need special authorizations to be able to use information broadcasting. System administrators need authorization object S_RS_ADMWB with the field RSADMWBOBJ = BR_SETTING. Users that precalculate business intelligence content and would like to schedule things require the authorization object S_RS_BCS. To be able to schedule broadcaster jobs in background the authorization to run batch jobs should be granted on BW side. The authorization object is S_BTCH_JOB "Background Processing: Operations on Background Jobs"
    From my own experience:
    On portal side: The users, to which personal folders it is necessary to publish, should exist both in EP and BW (have the same name), be active and have “Business Explorer” role assigned in EP (i.e. "Personal BEx documents" folder in KM should exist for them)

    Sorry, I have a different perspective from you (I don't work with the Java API). So, you can ignore what I said about the protocols. That's lower-level than what you would care about.
    The correct thing to do is to use the Admin API to get the users, as you are doing. If you have to log in twice, it might be because you're using the old Java API.
    Please verify that you're using these packages:
    mdm-core.jar, mdm-common.jar, mdm-protocol.jar, mdm-data.jar, mdm-admin.jar
    versus the old API, which was called mdm4.jar.

  • Project Online - Can't Delete Resource and User from Delete Enterprise Objects

    I would like to link a resource account to a user account but I ran into an error: "The resource account
    is already in use.".  This is a known issue which I attempted to resolve by following the instructions in KB2881398.
    However when deleting the selected resource from Delete Enterprise Objects I get a message indicating success ("The
    selected Resources and Users have been deleted.") but the duplicate user is still in the listing in Delete Enterprise Objects and when attempting to link the remaining resource to a user logon account I still get the error
    "The resource account is already in use."
    Why is the user not deleted even though Delete Enterprise Objects reports success and how can I delete these duplicates to be able to successfully link the account?

    This might be due to your Exchange Sync issue, where your project workspace is unable to delete that user from local DB. Try following steps to diagnose the problem:
    1) Go to your Resource Pool, DELETE a resource.
    2) While resource is being Deleted, open another window 
    Server Settings -> Manage Queue Jobs
    3) Here you can view the progress of your current Resource Deletion update, check if all goes smooth and your Resource is deleted successfully by showing process completion 100% :
     ( to view any error look at the
    last column of table on Manage Queue Job page)
    4) Cross check your Resource by running Resource Availability Report.
    Basically this will give you a fair idea of your resource deletion problems and how system is responding to it.

  • Need script to check for duplicate file names when copying a folder

    I am a new applescript user trying to write what I believe should be a simple script. I was planning on using the "add-new item alert" script as a template.
    Basically I have people copying folders of photos into a library folder, but I don't want the Finder to copy the photo if it already exists in the library. The images in the library are organized into subfolders.
    I need a script that will check all the file names in the new folder against all the file names in the library, and NOT add the new one if it already exists.

    I have a script that "kind of" works. The only problem I've seen is that it gets confused when filenames contain characters that are fine in Macland but not good in Unixland. Forward slashes are a good example of this.
    In this case I have a folder in my home named "copytest" Inside copytest are two folders:
    Source (containing the images to be added)
    Dest (My existing library of images)
    It also assumes that the folder of images to be added contains no sub-folders. Hope this helps.

  • What do I need to watch out for when installing Mountain Lion from scratch?

    I feel like it's a good moment to erase everything from my computer and reinstall Mountain Lion. I'd like to know which things I should watch out for.
    Most of my important stuff is located on an external hard drive. Some of the applications are located there as well, the other ones I can simply re-downloading, I don't mind this.
    I have my whole iTunes library and my iPhoto library which obviously I'd like to keep. I'm also concerned about my text messages on my iPhone -- they're very important to me. And so are also my Notes, Reminders, and Contacts.
    The thing is, I do not want to do a fresh install and then reload a backup. What would be the sense of making this? None I guess... I'm doing a fresh install becuase I believe there's lots of useless files and maybe even dangerous files on my Mac that I'd like to get rid of. I guess that if I would load the backup, they would all be here again...
    Is it maybe possible to load only certain things from Time Machine, for example my iPhoto or iTunes library?
    Maybe someone can help me here, totally new with this...

    Alright, I'm slowly getting ready to do this. Apparently I do not need an install DVD but I can just press CMD+R to get to the option to do a fresh install, that's why my Mac didn't come with an install DVD (that's what I've read and what I've been told at least).
    Now I'm wondering... do I need to copy those items from the User folder at all? I mean, I have a complete backup on an external hard drive. I could just go there in the folders and select what I would like to copy to my Mac again, suchs as my music library or photo library. Is there any risks? I'm worried about even the smallest things, like creation dates changing and stuff like this. They mean something to me

    Use "BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE". Existing list of LIne items should be filled in the structure "REQUISITION_ITEMS_OLD" & New list of line items should be included in the structure "REQUISITION_ITEMS_NEW"
    OLD - will contain the records currently in database.
    NEW - fresh list of records (in your case exclude the line item which is to be deleted)
