What exactly is the statement performing? Is it possible to have different results in development system and quality system? Is it anyhow system dependent statements?

> is used to Call a System Function.These calls are called Kernel C system calls .This CALL statements is for SAP internal use only.If SAP wants to allow a customer to use one, they will generally write a released ABAP function module to expose the Kernel Call.

++ test program (and USB
driver) above working, then you can convert this little test program
into a DLL or CIN, which can interface with LabView. A DLL might be
easier (slightly) to write, but the CIN will work faster with LabView

Manual should guide you. Remember, this is a task for an _experienced_
C programmer. You'll need to use handles to pointers into all your
dynamic arrays and such passed into LabView.
After you got your CIN or DLL written, you can use a special CIN
function node to "link" (or bind) your CIN object into LabView's VI
diagram.
SOME THOUGHTS:
There are many hardware devices already on the market today that come
with Windows 98 drivers and DLL (or even CIN) libraries that would work
immediately with LabView. Why don't you save yourself three months of
work and simply buy one of these?

I am working on a similar project.
Actually, i can encode 2 streams in h.264 with a resolution around 640X480 on a Intel Xeon E3120 (2 core) 3.16 GHZ configuration.
OS is a windows XP 32 bits. CPU usage is around 75%.
(note: FMLE instances are run with FMLEcmd not GUI mode)
Does someone know if i can gain performance with windows XP 64bits ?
My goal is to encode 4 streams on a single machine, does someone know if a dual CPU, let's say 2 X (4 core) Xeon, is enough ?
I don't know if FMLE support multiple processor with multiple core configuration.

you get an error because the work with the Quickviewer is a dialog- Prozess.
If you want a 'work around', set the parameter of the timeout dialog prozess higher.

I need some information about drivers

Hi all, I am developing an acquisition data system for biomedical
signals and I need to transmit this data from my hardware to PC using the
USB port. For this, I am writing a device driver for Windows 98 that receive
data and put it in a memory buffer. I have a VI which graphs this data in
LabView 5.0. The problem is that I don´t know to use this driver in LabView.
For now, I think to use a "code interface node" with code writen in C or a
"call library function" with a DLL. But I need some help with the "code
interface node" because this VI don´t use a .c file. Shortly, I apreciate
some help with this VI or some idea for use the USB port in LabView. Thanks.

Need some information on dataguard / streams for our scenerio !!

We have a application with Oracle 11g ( will call it as Box 1 ) , currently apart form regular transaction load that we have, there are couple of other reporting apps also tapping/approaching our primary db (Box 1 ) which puts a lot of load on the db & the server. I did some go-ogling and found that data guard or streams can come as handy to bring the load down by introducing Box 2 as standby db.... So i am thinking to have a standby server i.e. Box 2 which will cater to all the reporting requirements and primary will just play a role of data entry & small reporting req.
So my question to you guys is :
1) Assuming i just want to offload some load from server to box 2 for reporting purpose, is Data guard an option to go for . If yes, then do i need to go with physical standby or logical standby assuming our standby db will be just just for reporting purpose or in other words all the reporting apps like data warehousing wil be approaching standby db ?
2) As i understood STREAMS comes in handy if i want to have more control as to what gets shipped on to box 2 as a update, like u can much finer granule level control i.e. table level , col level etc . So since we plan to have complete db in sync always, streams wont be useful in our case, right ?

Here two things are different 1) standby 2) streams, of course related to replication
Starting from 11g, you can use physical standby for remitting purposes, that mean select statements will work I.e. You can say read only database also recovery will be enabled too.
In that process, users who perform only read only operations, no inserts/updates/delete operations are allowed.
In streams, it works across heterogeneous platforms, you can perform replication of data, that can be some objects or any schema or full database too. There would be lot of dependency too.
To SYNC both databases you can go for data guard which comes only with cost of enterprise edition. Standby is exactly mirror copy.

Roll out for new plant need some informations

We are going to roll out for our 2nd plant. So I need your help.
I am explaining the scenario,
Current scenario is: we have two manufacturing plants (ex:-one in noida and another in gurgaon) and in both plants we have six product line (in A plant=3, in B plant=3).
For both plants we are using one Company code (1000). and we are not using the business area.
But now the problem is this, that management wants separate reporting (P&l statement and Balance sheet) Plant wise and Product wise.
We decide to create a separate co- code for 2nd plant and six business area for product lines.
(In this regards I need your suggestions that how can we define the enterprise structure)
Please tell me
1. what new configurations we need to be done for new co-code?
2. In which areas business area will be affected and how and where we will assign the business area?
3. As we are doing transaction in sap since last year and we are doing this roll out in mid of 2008 so what will be the impact on the business.
4. How we will transfer the transactional data from one co-code to another, because data of both plants lies in previous co-code(1000).
Data like:- A. Transfer of General ledger balances
          B. Transfer of open line items of General ledgers
          C. Transfer of asset and accumulated depreciation from one co code to another.
          D. Controlling transfer postings.
          E. Customer / Vendor open items and balances transfer posting. Etc
If someone knew about something more to be taken care of, please guide so that we can successfully complete the roll out.
Please advice me, its urgent. if any one can give me his mobile to make me understood i can call to him .

First question: Yes very much. You can write simple logic for reconnection. Also there is new feature called Smart Reconnect which you can use for this purpose.

Second question: - I am not aware of such plug-in personally but there are high chances that it might be available. But i want to know first how you want to achieve it - are you sub titles not embedded in movie itself or is it separate from movie content and if yes in what format. Even if one is not available for ready to use - i think developing one should not be big deal - it can simple as overlay on your client side which gets populated with text at runtime.
