Need source code or help for COMM_FAILURE 209
Hi,
Anyone know where I can get the source code for the com.sun.jndi.cosnaming package? I'm trying to debug this message WARNING: "IOP00410209: (COMM_FAILURE) Connection rebind". Only get this problem when connecting to solaris, fine on windows.
We run tnameserv and jdk1.4.2 on both. Also tried using jacorb, get same problem. The ORB's don't return any errors, error only on client side. Client is also jdk1.4.2 running on windows.

Source Code Editor Framework for Flex
Dear Flex Forum members:
As a Flex newbie a quite important question in relation to the "Flex frameworks world" still remains to me, even after some google search sessions:
Does there exist any (preferably free) Flex framework or Flex component covering the functionality of a source code editor with syntax highlighting and syntax checking? -- Anything comparable to the Editor Framework within the Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform) or even to the Eclipse GEF (Graphical Editor Framework)?
The background is as follows (and as described in more detail in my first post to this forum):
An Online Shop Management Component shall offer the ShopManager to specify the products and offers in some declarative way and after a pre-defined grammar in place. The application frontend must be realized in Flex, and that's the reason why I'm now searching for:
some kind of textual or graphical editor framework for realizing the Shop Manager's editor which shall support him/her in creating shop specifications/configurations in a grammar-conforming way through syntax color highlighting and syntax checking (error feedback), and
this editor framework being intended for Flex (i.e., being a flex framework)
In some way, much of the editing/modeling functionality is identical to the one offered by Flex Builder (Eclipse application), but in my case this functionality must be exposed as web application (Flex component running on the browser).
Aps., would it also be possible to realize the Shop Management Component as AIR app, distribute it through a web page and run it locally on the Shop Managers client desktop???
Which products/frameworks do you know for accomplishing this task?

Getting an Object Identifier String given a line of source code? HELP!

Hi there,
I am in desparate need of getting the object identifier given a particular line of source code. I need this for the debugger I'm writing, and since the jdb forum never gets reponses; just more unanswered questions.
Right so, here's my problem in more detail. I can find out when a method is called in the Java virtual machine, and what its name is, and arguments and values and such like - using the Java Debugging Interface. BUT: unfortunately I cannot get the object identifier used in the source code that generated this call. I can however get a unique long id that identifies this object .. if that helps?(thinking hashtables here maybe?!)
So, I may know that the constructor of EddClass has been called, and this the following line generated this call:
EddClass edd = new EddClass();.. so what I need is a fail safe way of finding out "edd" from this - given all types of method calls.
This is quite tricky because there are loads of ways methods can be called e.g.
tty.getClassExclusions(); // Here I would know getClassExclusions had been called, and I would need to find out the object identifier "tty" called it
Temp a, b, c;
a = b = c = new Temp(); // Here I would know the constructor for Temp had been called, but now I would just want to know "c"
AnotherEg ae = (new Egg()).getAnotherEg(); // and in this last case if I had found out that the Egg constructor had been called, I don't want to find out any object identifier from this line of code - since the object is anonymous; however if I had found out that getAnotherEg() had been called I would want "ae"Ok, well - please help: I'm making a Java Animator that will be freely available - that serves to graphically animate the execution of another java program. I'm not sure but you maybe need to know just about the whole java lang. spec to do this.
I'm sure there are plenty of free java parsers around, so unless you have a lot of time available its probably best to download one, figure some way to feed it a single line from within a code block, and extract its symbol table.
Once you have the symbol table, there will probably be some other data available from the parser to say which are identifiers.
Its then up to your debugger to figure out which one is the interesting one!

I need to create a search help for parameters field 2 ( Country ) based on the values the user inputs in parameters field 1 ( Currency ). The values of field Currency & Country will come from T001 table.

I have been tasked with performing source code analysis on a very large (>1000 files) AS2 codebase.
Not surprisingly, Googling is not yielding useful results. Before declaring defeat, I felt it important to query this forum.

I'm trying to enable the Duplicate Check for the Vendor solution we have here and I couldn't help, but notice that when I'm setting up the DB Search in "Define Search Application", the out of the box values for existing search helps are already preconfigured and the values are the following:
BP MC_BP_ADDRESS Address Data
BP MC_BP_BANK_DETAIL Bank Details
BP MC_BP_GENERAL General Data
BP MC_BP_ID_NUMBER Identification Numbers

Unfortunately, when I check in SE11 - those search helps do not exist in the system. How can I get them deployed? Are they part of a Business Set that I missed to install and activate?

I have a notebook Toshiba Satellite A215-S5849 which came with Windows Vista home premium.
Some time ago, I installed Windows XP SP3 and I also installed some drivers which i found here:

I had to select model A210 coz there is no Satellite A215 available (but its probably simmilar, coz on my included Vista CD with drivers it also says its for A210/A215)
Main problem is... is there any simple way to get all XP drivers for A215... [Thats an other page, where I searched drivers for exactly my notebook and WIN XP, its many for vista. I have this little problems id like to solve:
1) Fn F5 doesnt work... I have 2 monitors and I cant use Fn F5 hotkey... I downloaded the driver... and other Fn keys work... but not F5... I've searched the forum and web and found something that I should have a "display devices change utility" installed, but this is only available for older notebooks (Ive searched, but i found only old driver for this). How do I make Fn F5 work in Win XP on A215?
2) Also in my Device manager I have three "Base System Device" undentified as "Other devices". Is this ok... or do i need some drivers or something?

4) And also... the multimedia keys... is it possible to select play/pause, stop, next, prev buttons for other program than windows media player. Id like to run those keys on winamp, ive downloaded a plugin for winamp, and it did worked on Vista, but not on XP... in Toshiba controls utility I can only sellect programs to start with Internet button and CD/DVD button. Ive read its not possible, but it worked when I installed the plugin on Vista.

The drivers available were pretty straightforward , coz there is only one available for LAN, audio, Hotkeys etc. So I had not much choice. I also checked for which hardware they were made and from wihich manifacturer they are (I found the right ones... for example, realtek drivers for my realtek audio device...)> I had to select model A210 coz there is no Satellite A215 available (but its probably similar, coz on my included Vista CD with drivers it also says its for A210/A215)
The A215 is a US notebook series and you usually you should use the Toshiba US driver page in order to get all compatible XP drivers.
There is no guarantee that the Toshiba XP drivers from the Toshiba European driver page would work correctly on the Toshiba US notebook.
Regarding the point;
1) You are right. The display device change utility controls the FN+F5 key combination and also the Hotkey Utility make the FN+F5 combination working.
This tool is available for some A210 series like the PSAFGE series. But it does not work on all A210/A215 series.
2) This could be a card reader. Check if its already installed. But note; after the XP installation you will still have yellow exclamation marks in device manager because some hardware will be only supported by Windows Vista. Therefore there is no Windows XP driver.
3) In my opinion the Toshiba Software Upgrades for Windows Vista/XP reminds about some new available software updates which were released on the Toshiba page US page.
4) I have the same issue and I think there is no way to change this in XP.
The Toshiba controls Utility for XP is simply different as the version for Vista and in my eyes there is nothing to do.

Code bug help for a beginner!!
Ok, I've written this code so far. Everything was fine until I got to the IF condition. When I try compiling it it tells me that the 'a' variable in the IF condition expression may not have been initialised, which I don't really understand as it's been declared at the start of the program and even used fine beforehand in the switch statements.
Any ideas?

Absolutely clueless on NAT Error and setup with Azureus, AirPort Express and System Preferences Sharing. Done a search here and Google it. Don't understand a single one of them. Download is a miserable 1 - 3 Kb/s and upload is IMPOSSIBLE. Even I tried turning off firewall in System Preferences, the results are the same. Help.
Thanks in advance.You need to enable Port Mapping on the Express for the port you're using for BitTorrents. You can determine the port number in the Azureus preferences. To set up Port Mapping, open up the Express's configuration in Airport Admin Utility, click on the Port Mapping tab, and add an entry with your computer's IP address and the BitTorrent port number in both the public and private port number fields.

Hi all
actually i have one webdynpro form which is having multiple input elements. for example name,address,phoneno,price quantity and amount. and there is update button for that form.
when i click the update button the multiplication of quantity and price value will be updated by in one input field which is part of the another webdynpro form is part of the same view.
i want to update the input field in another form only when i change the value of either price or quantity otherwise the value of inputfield in another form should be same.
now how do we retrieve the event of either price or quantity inputfield which only changes rather than changes of name or adreess.
only when i modify the value of price or quantity in form and updated button then only the multiplication will be reflected in inputfield of another form.i dont want to reflect that inputfield of another form when i changes of other inputfields except price or quantity.
please provide the sample code on the same...especially how to retrieve the event of that price or quantity in a form..
