Dear experts,
is it possible to get the actual time for a given time zone? We need to know the time of a certain plant and we are searching for a standard function module which calculates the time based on the plants time zone.

You can use TIME ZONE statement for this.
DATA: time_stamp_s TYPE string,
            time_stamp     TYPE timestamp,
            tzone              TYPE timezone,
           wf_date_conv TYPE sy-datum,
           wf_time_conv TYPE sy-uzeit.
tzone = 'CET'.
CONCATENATE sy-datlo   "Local Date
                          sy-timlo    "Local Time
                  INTO time_stamp_s.
time_stamp = time_stamp_s.
CONVERT TIME STAMP time_stamp TIME ZONE tzone INTO DATE wf_date_conv TIME wf_time_conv.
Otherwise FM IB_CONVERT_INTO_TIMESTAMP/IB_CONVERT_FROM_TIMESTAMP can bne used for same.

Rules for defining operations in Work Orders

What is the best practice for defining work order operations for better knowledge retention. How we can distinguish multiple operations in work order?
Our maintenance stuff is defined single operation like replacement of bearing in work order which is of no use for knowledge retention. What measures/guidelines should be taken in this regard?

Technically every one has answered correctly, however I would like to add few points
1. I completely agree with Shri Maheswaran that operations shall be created on broad heads & only differentiated basd on diffrent activity type(for different wage grp) or Performing work center or according different broad activity (functional) which has specific relevance.
2. As a best practice we have created standard maintenance practice (SMP) which contains details of activity for say replacement of motor which normally do not changeover period & attach this document to technical object in DMS. Further we have standardised operations using standard text key e.g. Replace motor type xxx, xxkW / Maintain motor type xxx/ Maintain panel etc.
At most we have included the broad sub activities as operations or in long text as per requirement but not how parts because how part will always remains same (untill & unless objct changes or there is any revision of the document). If you want the status of completion of your broad activities as mailestones then also you shall create it as operation or sub operation. If you put it in long text you will not get separate status.

Do u need a separate apple Id for each person

Do u have to have a new apple ID for each person, if so everyone in my family will have to get one. Right now we all share the same id and I cloud and it is messing stuff up. Will u be able to get things back that u already bought if everyone gets a separate apple Id.

Only in Settings > iTunes & App Stores > here one purchasing Apple ID (apps, books, music can be shared), others should use their own Apple ID for all other Apple services.

I need a count "UP" timer for a client.

I have kind of a strange request, but it's from a strange client so it's not surprising.
The client needs a counting UP timer, not a count DOWN timer, so please don't refer me to that widget, I already used it.
The original countdown timer has expired, so now she wants a timer that will count the days, hours, minutes & seconds SINCE that timer expired.

Is it possible to "crack" the existing widget and just "reverse" it, or is there something I can build in edge animate that will work?

Contacts - would like current time for every person.

I cannot find where to put this question, either here or on the feedback page. I would like a feature on Contacts which shows the current time for a contact.
I have contacts in many parts of the world. It would be nice to simply display the current time for each contact.

Feedback would be the place. We're just users here and can't do anything about the software.
I like the idea, though.

Longer time for Material Availability check while creation of prd order.

Hi guys,
I am facing a weird problem while creating production orders thru CO01.
I enter the component and plant and I am also using the forward scheduling option.
for some reason, SAP is taking a long time for material availability check when I hit the release button.
Sometimes its taking more than an hour. Its happening with few specific BOM's, and I have checked the master data but I could hardly find a problem in master data.
Can someone suggest me some tips ??

Hi,
Please check the Availability check control maintained for Components it should be 01 or 02. Also check the issue storage location maintained or not. You can maintain issue storage location in BOM in Status/lng text tab in Production Storage Location.

I need the server run time for weblogic server. Please help

I am trying to create a web project in Eclipse WTP europa. I do not have the bea weblogic server installed on my desktop. My organization has issues running it locally. I need to first create a project and then create a war and then deploy it on server.
I am going through the tutorial at the following website:

Also "During web application development, we will need a server runtime environment to test, debug and run our project".

But tomcat is not accepting it as a server runtime, pls help...

I have an Ipod4, I want an Ipad2 with 3G, do I need a new ATT contract for the IPAd, or can they both work on the same account

If you get/use WiFi only you can get on the web, get mail,text,and use icloud without a new account with ATT; but when out of Wifi coverage you would need an upgraded (ie extra $ ) data account with your phone (ATT in your case) provider.

I have requested some assistance from a colleague and I am sorry to say, we could not find am HP download for the Photosmart Premier 6.0 and 6.5. The only thing I could find is a support document for those who still have said software; Using HP Photosmart Premier 6.0 and 6.5 in Windows XP.
As for the lighscribe, is your PC the a1630n? I couldn't find the a163n. If you do indeed have the a1630n, you could try the LightScribe System Software Update.

Need a group by clause for two varibles in one table

I can't find any way to merge two variables in a group by statement with both vertical and horizobtable output.
The statement I got for a vertical output is (in 10gR2):
