Need to create a a line after each subtotal-Smartform

Hi I need to create a uline after each of the sub totals in my smartform.Like if theer are 7 items in the form and for each of the item there are 2-3 sub-items under it , I have calculated the sub totals for each of the item and to distingusih tjem separately i want to create a line after each of my sub totals for the items . How do i create the line after each of the items ?

Read this wiki.In the 8th step given there,GOTO the text element and give a ULINE there if needed.
I think since this example is of tabular display you might not need a ULINE there.

I do not know why you have declared the class as abstract. Abstract class must contain at least one abstract method.
In your code, there is no abstract method.

Inserting a new line after each tag of an xml

Hi,
I am having a requirement where i need to insert a newline after each tag<> of an xml. I am sending an xml to target system using JMS adapter and the target system has UNIX as OS.
In unix system if we see the output xml, it will be in a single string as shown
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><messages><Field1\><Field2\>.........................</messages>
But the desired output should be in the below format
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<messages>
<Field1\>
<Field2\>
</messages>
And there should not be any indentation for the xml. It should be in the above format it self.

Windows will only be able to open these if you have Word 2007+. Older versions of Word, for example Word 2003 would require a compatibility pack.
Perhaps you can try 'Saving As' a different file type instead?

Add horizontal line after each record

I have 10 records seperated by ID. I m using List in SSRS to show data on report. I need to add horizontal line after first record, then after second record till 10 th record. How do we add this line?

Per my understanding that you have add the tablix into the list and group on the "ID", now you want to add an horizontal line between each record which grouped by the ID like below, right?

Getting extra line after each record when opening a .txt file in excel

Hi All,
I have developed a program which downloads a file at application server.
each record of file is 500 characters long & have CRLF at end.
the file looks fine when opened in .txt format.
however when i download it from application server to presentation server (using function "download to my computer"), & at presentation when i try to open it in excel format, it shows a blank line after every record.
i don't want this blank line to appear if i download it & open it in excel.
the file record is declared as char500 type.
Please suggest how to deal with this.

Hi Puja,
Check the file in the application server whether it has any gaps between the lines.
Or else as you said if the file looks ok in .txt format, download the file in .txt and open the same file in excel (i.e. open with excel)

Do I need to power off my iPad after each use?

I bought a new iPad. The problem is after each use I have to power off in Order to connect to internet. Is there something in settings I need to do in Order not to have to shut my iPAd off so often

That shouldn't happen. I almost never turn my iPad off unless I do so for troubleshooting purposes. There is nothing in the settings that you should have to "fix" either as long as WiFi is always turned on.
Try resetting your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Need to create a multi line form

Hi All,
I have to create a Multi line form for which I have used the following:
1. Created an EO
2. Created a VO based on EO.
3. Created a Page that has two regions:
a. Main Region
b. Table Region
This Table region is of style Table. But when I run the page it shows that No Data has found. Even its not a search page.
Kindly suggest me that how can I make this page and this page should have 10 rows at a time available to insert.

Creating the Order Line after the Invoice interface

We have license items which has created as miscellaneous item which sends the fullfilment as soon as we book the order and creates an invoice, but we want to stop this line to be invoice prior to the other line gets into the ship confirmation. We are trying to create a custom node to create the license item after the invoice interface using workflow, but it looks tedious. Is there any other thoughts?

Hello,
When you confirm shipping sales order goes to interface. You have to run auto-invoice to create invoice in AR. You have to create custom form base on this interface and auto-invoice. This form should give ability to select lines and run auto invoice for those lines . I do not know that is ok from your process point of view.

Line after text in smartforms display

Issue 1:
I want to display a line after a text.
Ex: Name _______________________________________
I am unable to display the line till the end of the page.
When I save and activate, the line gets shortned itself as below.
Name ___________________________
Issue 2:
I am unable to print the text that i want in bold inspite of using bold in character format.
Any suggestions?

i too faced the same previously i solved it as
1).in your text element where you drag & drop your fields there itself for line what you ask
write there itself upto it enters into next line when ever it enters into next line press back space so it takes the complete window width but dont click on the edit icon and write there.
2). instead using charater format in your style create a paragraph format in bold format

Inserting Blank Line after subtotal in ALV

I am using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY for my report output and I am displaying the following fields :
Company Code Comp Name Bank Name Amount Data
I am sorting my output based on the company code and displaying the subtotal for each company code.
My requirement is that I need to insert a Blank line after every subtotaled value in the report output. like after the subtotaled value of company code say XXX a blank line should be inserted and then I should start displaying data for company code YYY.
Please let me know if this is possible and if yes how to do that.

I have put the wa_sort-Group = 'UL' but could not get the desired results.
What my need is that say for one company code there are five line items, and I need to sort the output by company code then after displaying the 5 line items, I need to display the subtotal of amount for that company code , then a blank line and then the data for the next company code should start.

How to create a stroked line that randomize each stroke color?

Hi all, I am strating out designing in illustrator and I need help on how to created a stroked line, -----------, with each stroke ( - ) a different colour, like, each stroke having a different randomized color which differs from the next one.

How to create a new line item automatically in CRMD_ORDER

Step1:COMM_PR01
Open Product xxxx > Relationships > Tab Component > Select Relationship type = STRSET Set > Assing product yyyy
Step2: IMG > CRM > Transactions > Define Item Categories
Open you item category and in Structure scope field select option A Single-Level Explosion of structured products
Step3: IMG > CRM > Transactions > Define Item Category Determination
create new entry
Transaction type =
Item category group = Category group of xxxx product
main item cat = item cat of xxxx product
item cat = item cat of yyyy product
now when you enter product xxxx , product yyyy will be automatically added
