I was trying to create a network from abap editor using the 'BAPI_BUS2002_CREATE' but I have encountered a dump. Here is my entire code below:-

No, not unless it is simply a network connection.
How is your IPTV being provided.. if it is using a separate vlan or separate vpi/vci in the adsl connection. Who is your ISP?
Is the TP-Link ADSL?
Is the IPTV using a separate voice channel on adsl?
Or a different vlan.
Sorry but it is something where a definite answer is not possible unless you provide all the details.
The setups are unique to each ISP around the world..

I created Handling Units with BAPI_HU_CREATE , Pack materials with BAPI_HU_PACK in to Handling Untis and assign handling units to sales order with BAPI_HU_CHANGE_HEADER . But These BAPIs are not doing packing sales order line items in to handling units . I have to go sales order and do sales order line item packing by clicking packing button.
Could you please help on how to do packing Sales Order Line items in the background with BAPIs.

on ps texts account, can u pl let me know, how i can restrict using the ps texts assigned to one project, bcos the same ps text can be edited or modified any other user.
ps texts may be different eg, different excel sheets assigned at wbs elements.
1. abc project wbs assigned xyz ps text (excel sheet)
2. zyx project wbs assigned xyz1 ps text (excel sheet)
the above are used by two different users.
if abc project user goes thru cj02 for editing the ps text xyz, but at the same time, if this user goes thru pull down list, he can also pick up xyz1 ps text and can do edit/modify.
is there any way to restrict thru basis/ps control or authorisations
my requirement whatever assigned ps text is only has to be changed/modified as & when the user opens project thru cj02

Hi Dinesh,
Agree with Arden, I think there is no number range feature for product IDs. You can have your own number range object and intervals with custom solution on UI to create product IDs sequentially.
I am not sure but have a look at the TCode: COMC_MATERIALID_ALL which may be doing what you need.
You cannot change the product ID once created I think.
You can change the category assignment of the products through the report : COM_PRODUCT_RECATEGORISATION
Check enhancement spot : CRM_PRODIL_EXIT which has got some methods for CREATE and MODIFY Products.

So I'm dinking around in Powershell today and I'm failing at creating an array of custom objects. I want to create a HTML report that builds out after every MDT image update. To do that, I need to collect my data on what's contained in each build.
Here's my current script in progress -

It all works great until I look at my output and see that I get my expected properties and array, but at the end it's created additional empty entries for each of my initial properties I assigned. So I get my list of apps like this :

It's not really all that strange.
If you look at your script, you're not outputting the hash table until both loops finish. The values are dependent on the properties of the $app objects enumerated in the inner loop, and only outputting an object if the dependent ($d) matches the $app
guid property.
At the end, you're outputting the hash table without that test, so it's going to have values based on the last $app in the loop, regardless of whether the guid matches the dependents or not.

and this guy saw where it had doubled the size during the encryption, and showed me how to go in and delete,
and I was able to finally turn it off,
although it took 3 hours to do so.
but worth it.

Are JDev autogenerated paths needed to create ear, war and jar files ?

We want to create ear, war and jar files from Ant build script generated from JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.
We also like to use ojdeploy with it.
In the process of creating build.xml files from projects, we see these paths.
We also have standalone Weblogic installed with ADF runtime 11.1.1.7
Questions:
1- Do we need these path ids to generate ear, jar, war files properly and then deploy the ear to our standalone Weblogic so that our webapp can run ok ?
2- Why are they generated, if they are not needed
From research, it appears that we don't need these paths except to keep ant targets of init, compile, exec etc with ojdeploy.
3- Is that true ?
We are afraid that because no paths are listed in the build.xml, then when we deploy the ear app, it cant use the ADF runtime on the standalone WLS.

There are two different things here. Using ant to build the class files and then building an ear from the class files and other resources.
The building part needs the libraries if you use javac as compiler. Building an ear file only needs the path to the jar files which are packed into the ear.
In this sense you need the pages you see in the build.xml.
Then Jdev offers another way: ojdeploy. This tool is a Jdev without a gui.
You can use this tool and build the classes for each project of a workspace and to build build war and ear file. This is just like you click the rebuild button for each project and then the deploy the projects and application. If you use this approach you don't need the generated path ids as the whole build process is done inside Jdev as it's done on your developer pc.

I'm sure this has been covered before but I couldn't find anything relevant....
I'm calling a PL/SQL Process from within an Apex (version 2.0) Page, that ultimately Creates a New DB user.
I am receiving an ORA-01031: insufficient privileges error. My Application User and the Package owner both have privileges to Create a DB user.
What am I missing?

Never, ever grant additional privileges to the apex_public_user account. It achieves nothing and makes the account over-privileged. The only privilege it needs is CREATE SESSION.
Mike - Your application's parsing schema (I assume that's the package owner) needs to be granted privileges directly and not through roles. I don't know what you mean by your application user's privileges. Those users are not database accounts (unless you are using a dedicated DAD, etc.).

Thanks for the reply.. we are not using the process chains instead we are using the infopackage groups. I created the event in SM62, But how should i assign this new event to my delta load.
In full upload infopackage, in selection option i can give the event there in "after event"
But my doubt is how to assign my event to the delta infopack

Hi,
Is it possible to create Logical switches and logical networks in VMM by calling SPF REST APIs. I can see only a GET API for logical networks and none for Logical switches. If they exist can someone point me to a link to the documentation?

The purpose of SPF is to be used as web service for Tenants. As logical networks and switches are objects that are maintained by administrators they cannot be managed by SPF. Logical networks have get operation because you might want to create VLAN-based
VM Networks depending on what is configured in Logical networks. For administrating logical switches and networks administrators will use PowerShell or the VMM console.
