Need to get a dependent dependent objects list on a table

Hi
I am trying to get the dependent object list on a table like triggers ,indexes,synonyms etc.. through PL/SQL code.
Example :
For table per_all_people_f we need to list how many triggers are there.. and what all those... etc.
Can anyone help on this issue?

Thanks a lot for your inputs. seems i have not given full details in my post. I need to have a SQL Query to find the dependent object details not DDL.
if i give a metriealized view name, i should get the base table names directly not DDLs...
if i give index name i should get its corresponding table name(off course i got this already)...
if i give a function name, i should get all the tables which are being in the function...etc...
i am looking for a script which will cover all the aspects.....i hope i have given now enough information for this....

Rename User in SAP Netweaver - how to get user-dependent object transferred

Hello group
Recently the rules for coding of Userids within our company changed.
As a consequence we would have to rename all SAP userids according to the new rules.
However, user rename in SU01 doesn't take along the user-dependent entries in several SAP tables where for instance user-specific variants are stored.
Is there a decent solution to this ?

InfoPath: Cascading Fields, need to get ID of final selected list item

I have a two drop down lists in an InfoPath form. They are getting their data from a SharePoint List that has two columns: Objectives, Strategies.
The drop down lists are cascading. So dropdown list 2 (DDL2) values change depending on what dropdown list 1 (DDL1) is set to.
So my list looks like this:
objective 1 - strategy 1
objective 1 - strategy 2
objective 1 - strategy 3
objective 2 - strategy 1
objective 2 - strategy 2
The cascading part in InfoPath works correctly. My problem is that I need to get the ID of the item (strategy) selected in DDL2.
DDL1 gets its values from an external data source (sharePoint list):
Entries: /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW
Value: d:Objective
Display name: d:Objective
DDL2 gets its values from the same external data source (sharePoint list):
Entries: /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:Strategies[../d:Objective = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:obj]
Strategy is filtered based on Objective = Objective
Value: Strategies
Display name: Strategies
How can I get the ID of the Strategy selected in DDL2 so that I can write it out to another column that SharePoint can use in a workflow. The only value returned in for DDL2 is Strategy, no ID option.

If you want to get the ID of the selected "Strategy" item in DDL2, I think you may need to use the same approach to retrieve the same external data source(SharePoint list have the Objectives and Strategies columns) on another field, then
filter the list item ID based on the selected Strategy value in DDL2 which equals to the strategy value in that external SharePoint list.
Or you don't need to get the list item ID of the "Strategy" selected in DDL2 in InfoPath form, you can directly get the list item ID which is filtered by the condition SharePoint list item "Strategy" column value equals
to the value selected in DDL2 in Desinger workflow, then use the ID value as you want in workflow.

is present in user_snapshots print 'MATERIALIZED VIEW'

Have you used this data source 2LIS_02_ACC?
Above data source built on EKKN table. if you used above data source then you may try look up option at bw side.
if not used then you may need to go with enhancement.
Table BSEG and EKKN have same fields.

By using above fields conditions you can fill AUFNR and NAVNW.
Take abap expert help to build logic at CMOD.
I think you will be familiar with data source enhancement steps.
One more thing, am seeing your requirement more enhancements on same data source.
it may degrade loading performance.

here if we look at the select statement the previous one ,its starts from middle and
picking up the records.i dont know y.and also its not writing the records in the path (spool)which i have given..can u pls check it out if possible.

select object_name from user_objects where object_type in ('VIEW','TABLE');You should get very similar results with those queries.
Query 2 will contains clusters.
If you run query 3 against sys, you will get some very special objects, like the KOTAD$ table, which contains no user-visible column! You will also get the overflow segments of IOTs and nested table column's storage table.

FM for Finding Dependent Objects

Hi ,
We are in need of a Function Module, which would be able to list all the dependent Objects of a Field.
For eg : Field - zsodtest contains Data Element - zsodde
Which uses the domain zsoddom.
When the Field is passed as the input parameter for the FM, it should List the DE and the Domain, of the Field.
Hope the Problem is clear.

There are two ways to get the required information:
(1) DB View <b>DD03M</b>
(2) Function module <b>DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET</b>
When you provide TABNAME and FIELDNAME the function module will return all meta data in structure DFIES.
Please read the FM documentation and pay special attention to parameter ALL_TYPES.

Otherwise try this .Goto se38 custom program.Click on Display object list -->CtrlShiftF5.It will take you to se80(ABAP Workbench).You will get the used objec list in that custom program in a tree format .You will be able to see the includes,Dictionary structures used,Function modules ,transactions ,and so on used in this program.
There you will get some idea on what are all the dependent objects used in the program

How to implement two dependent dropdown lists in an input table row?

I am new in Jdev 11g. I try to develop an input table with two dependent dropdown list. I can create independent dropdown list in such table. When I try to implement dependent one following some examples do it in a form using bind variable in the view object I get an empty listbox. How can I do this? Is it possible. I cannot find any documents about this.

Hi,
it hasn't changed between 10.1.3 and 11. The basic outline of how you do it is
- use a managed bean to query the data
- populate the list with f:selectItems that point to the managed bean ArrayList<SelectItem> for the master and the detail
- obtain the master ID in the managed bean by parsing the #{row} variable when the table renders
- then bulild the detail list
- have the detail list referencing the ArrayList<SelectItem> you expose for the details
Note that without proper caching, the action is quite expensive

Dependency DropDown List for Multiple Rows in Offline Interactive Form

Hi I have 2 drop down lists.. in one dropdown list I have "Billable" and "Non Billable" , in second Dropdown list we will have Binding values with "Billable".... when we select "Billable" I need to get the data in Second Dropdown list from Database, and when we Select "Non Billable" then Dropdownlist should become a Inputfield (i.e Dropdown should turn to textfield)...and this should happen for each and every row....based on Index value....help me on this.....

You can create one input text field and make it visible when a user choses non billable option in dropdown 1, using -
<this>.presence = "visible";
when billable is chosen from dropdown 1, I can think of two ways.
- Since you have binding 'billable' options with second dropdown, make it visible when billabile option is chosen.
- you can also populate the second dropdown using javascript (something like dependent dropdowns) when billable option is chosen.

Im trying to archive MM_MATNR (Material master) and I understand that all dependent objects need to be archived before material master can be archived.
My question is what is the most effective way of identifying and archiving dependent objects collectively or individually??

The technical archiving process is well doucmented there, step by step.
further you should search OSS notes with key "MM_MATNR", there are plenty, make sure you are current with notes before you start. But more intresting in the beginning are the consultant notes there, explaining the errors you may discover when archiving materials.
of course you have to do this for any object that you need to archive before.

of course you do not need to archive any object there, just objects you use, and only those records from the object that are relevant to the materials you want to archive.
Usually you set up a archving project, defining residence times for all potential archiving objects, then you do customizing and finally you start testing and then real archiving. this is explained in much more detail in help.sap.com and service.sap.com/plm
And do not underestimate the effort. you need consultants from any module, and people from the business, and good to have auditors as well in the project. you will certaiinly face possible error, any process that is not defined and excuted clean from beginning to the end will give you headaches.
I had a 50 day project (just my time), to get familiar with the object, doing its customizing and execution (this can be different from object to object, even you start everything from SARA) and of course documentation. I have already spend more than 70 days in 3 years (it is not a high priority project) and I have not really archived materials that were in use yet.
if a material was never used in dependent objects, then you can archive it right away.
SAP does extensive checks (and you many have to add own addtional checks in user exits to avoid screwing up your production system (most archived data cannot be retrieved into the database). My system takes between 1 and 3 minutes to archive 1 material (or finally fail because of an error)
