Need to hard wire my hp laser jet m225 to my iPad air no wifi

I have a new HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M225 and works great except when I go to a place where there is no wifi and I try to hard wire it between the printer and the iPad Air and it can not find printer. I'm using the printers USB to my iPad air . Thanks fred316

There is no way that you can carry that large of a printer around to print are you trying to do remote printing? Maybe you should make that printer a Google Cloud printer that would work better for you.

Hi,
iPad Air does not use drivers, it uses apps and at this stage no app from Apple to support printing from iPad using Bluetooth. iPad and IPad Air can print thru WiFi using the following app:

I want to hard wire my Bell TV PVR to the Internet.

Hi everyone, I need to hard wire my Bell TV PVR to the Internet in order to download movie purchases. I don't have access to the Internet where the TV is located in the house. Could I use a AirPort Express Base Station and plug the ethernet cable from the PVR to the base station? I have my Airport Extreme setup up stairs in my den.

If your AirPort Express Base Station (AX) is an 802.11n model, then you can configure it as a wireless Ethernet bridge. Apple calls this configuration a ProxySTA. In this configuration, the AX would join the wireless network provided by the AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) and its Ethernet port would be enabled for the Bell.

So you don't want to share content between your own devices? Lets forget about your husbands devices or a moment. Your iPad and your iPhone will be completely separate?
Again Verizon has nothing to do with your Apple Id or Apps you download. Separate company, and it only provides the cellular service nothing more. You can't store Apps from Apple App store in their cloud.
If your husband buys an App, and you share the Apple Id for downloads you could potentially download that App if you wanted to for free, no extra purchase necessary.
Now if your iPhone and iPad have different Apple IDs to each other, then you can;t share the Apps on one to the other. That is the Apps bought with the Apple Id on the iPhone would need to be bought again by the iPad Apple Id if you wanted to download them to it.
Other than that the recommended option is to have your devices have the same Apple ID but s still different to the one your husband uses.

Do I need to install Norton 360 multi device on my new iPad Air?

I just got a new iPad Air 64GB wifi + cellular and the retailer is strongly suggesting I install Norton 360 Multi Device on it and on my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.5. I was under the impression that Macs were seldom affected by viruses. However, they are suggesting that it will be easier to retrieve my iPad if it becomes stolen or lost. I'm not sure how that would work, or if I need it at all.

Norton 360 does nothing more with regards to a lost or stolen device then the free find my iPad service from Apple already does (as Diavonex mentions). Norton, just like find my iPad is an internet remote tracking service, so it has the same functionality as well as the same limitations of find my iPad or any remote tracking service - namely that the device must be powered on, with a live internet connection, for the remote tracking to work.
Norton 360 offers no additional security for a lost or stolen device, and its "threat" protection is pointless on a non-j'broken iOS device (and it WILL degrade the user experience on a tablet, since it is running all the time).
All that buying it will accomplish is to make you a bit poorer, and the retailer a bit richer.

Purchased apple ipad air with wifi only want to switch to one that has SIM card. Only needed for travel about 4weeks per year...understand you can swiitch SIM cards. Which should I start with?

The biggest issue between the 1 and 2 is that all devices eventually age out of software updates. For example the iPad 1 maxed out at iOS 5.1.1, only the Touch 5 was eligible for iOS8 and I think only iPhones 4+ could get iOS8. So eventually, if you get a 1 you may face maxing out of the iOS updates before the two.
That said, even if your device maxes out it'll still run just fine as it is. You may just face issues with future apps....so say my iPad maxes out in December. In February a really cool game comes out and I want it... but wait, it's for the newer iOS and won't install on mine. If you're aware of the issue and accept the issue, there's no reason you can have a fully functioning older device.
And if the 1 is more stable than the 2, even better. I've been very lucky with my iPad 2 to have it be a very stable and dependable model while later models do seem to have had issues.

Go to the Apple store and buy the camera connection kit. It provides a USB female connection, you supply the cable from the USB to your camera. Or order the kit from the Apple online store.

Any advice, I want to add a 2nd apple tv in another room but need a longer J45 cable to hard wire into my wi fi device at least 30 feet. I do alot of utube watching?

An ethernet cable that length should be fine.
You might consider looking at mains powerline network sockets eg from Devolo, Belkin, Netgear etc etc

Hi laser jet pro 400 as just decided it's going to print anymore through the wire. Tried three different wires no good. It says not communicating with printer. Tried others computers and it the same.

i have hp laser jet 5L and 6L pinrter and has xp and window 7 os. i have searched for drivers on google and found many but none of them working for me. the porblem is when is send pirnt command to printer. the status is printing for 4,5 minutes then it prompts an error that "failed to print".
Please guide me to the official drivers for hp laser jet 5L and 6L.

Laser Jet 1100 Running on XP machine Need driver for windows 7

I have a Laser Jet 1100 running on a XP machine. Have other XP machines on the wireless network they can print to it, and all is fine. Purchased a new laptop for my wife running windows 7 and the printer will not load onto her machine. I can load the printer local to her machine, it accepts the driver that was loaded onto the machine but can't get it to install on the network.

I have five computers on my home network. My desk top 1 is directly connected to my ip provider router.
This unit is a 32 bit and the the printer is shared through it. I have four other laptops in the house and all my 32 bit computers work fine with the printer. The two unit I have that are 64 bit base will not work with the printer. I have not found out for sure yet but i think the problem may be that the 32 bit unit that is sharing the printer is not able to handle the 64 bit code between the printer your new laptop.
My vista unit will return with an error that states the drivers are not compatible. 64 bit drivers won't install because the base computer is 32 bit. I could be wrong but i think the only way to get it to work with both 32 and 64 bit system drivers is to upgrade the computer that shares the printer to a 64 bit operating system or replace the printer with a network printer that connects directly to the router at least.
A 64 bit system can handle 32 bit instructions but a 32 bit system can't handle 64 bit instructions. I not a pro and could be wrong and have over thought the problem.
