Need to help to check the variable

Dear All,
I have a cust exit variable used in the BPS layout that gives the values for reporting Unit. I am not able to see one of the reporting units available in the master data table. I am sure that this variable must be used somewhere in a FM to populate the list. Can you let me know how to check.. There must a varaible tab in BPS0 somewhere to check.

Hi Srinivas,
Do you know this variable is created in which planning area? If you don't you can try searching using the set variables button in tcode BPS0.
If you go to that area, to the 'variables' tab, you can select this variable and see which FM corresponds to it. You can then debug this FM.

@ Gary: No, there is no need to specify an editable region in the page title.
If you make a template from a page, by saving it as a template (using "save as template"), the page title is automatically made editable.
@ Jesus: if you look into the code of your template or of any childpage, it should read like this:

<title>Mi PageTitle</title>

meaning that the page title is indeed editable.
If it does not look like this, something went wrong.
Maybe do a little test, save your page as a template and see if the code reads as above.
It is important that you keep your templates in the Templates folder in your root folder
Do not move the folder or change its name, otherwise it will not work.

After PCA year-end processing(t-code: 2KES), GL 201100 balance of company code 7101 is not consistent in 2009 end and 2010 opening. it is showing the value 800,500 in 2009 and 800,000 in 2010.
I request to all where to check this settings for diffeerence amount.

If the program has not been run yet, you can still post items in the new year. When you post items in the new year, the accounts are "opened", but their carryforward balance is zero. Once you make postings to the prior year within the new year, the carryforward balance will be updated by those postings. The total balance of the items posted in the old year, however, remains in that year. In this case, the carried forward balance represents only the items posted within the new year to the prior year, not the items posted during the prior year.
Also, check SAP notes 402917,165356.

I'm using WinXp Pro. where should I put them in the User or System part and what goes in the Variable part and the Value part? The directions are not specific at all. Please help been on the for to many hours want to move on. I think its because of this I can't compile too. Thanks

You should go back to the window where you set the variables and check to ensure that the changes you made were saved. You should also close any open command prompt windows and reopen them after setting variables.
If that doesn't work, you can also try the old-fashioned way on the command line:
set path=%path%;c:\jdk1.3.1\bin
or
set path=c:\windows;c:\jdk1.3.1\bin
etc.
If you do set your variables on the command line, you'll have to reset them each time you open a command prompt window.

Need help to check the software update deployment status before restart the VM

Hello,
I'm just trying to automate the windows patch deployment for several VM's, I build the entire logic like below,
Deploy software update --> wait for sometime-->Restart --> Check deployment status(collection = iscomplaint) -->stop
I know here I'm missing the logic of not checking the patch deployment status before restarting, Can someone help here plz?

I need heed help for Handle the JButton

hi, guys
I am writing a small program
It has name and number field.
It also has the first, privious, next , last and add buttons.
i want to load the myData.txt file to the name and number field.
and I want to make the buttons handle the events.
and when the application is closed, it will save the data into the files.
I can assign the the add button to save the files, and save the data when it is closed, but I can not make it save more than one record.
i need ur help to the rest of the buttons, and load the file back to the field.

are you trying to load a multi line textfile int a JTextField? If you try to load this in a while loop as you read the file, it will zoom through the file, and you will probably only see the last line of the file (or nothing if the last line is blank) in the jtextfield. Consider using a JTextArea or some other component that can hold multiple lines. Also your file reading method calls look wrong to me. You appear to read a line, then continually check if that one read line is null, and if not do a while loop, that looks to loop forever. Look at the java I/O examples for how to do this right.

3) Im also trying to use Visor(i cant remember the name, it's a software to enable Mac to run windows without the boot camp) but i tried on my friend's Macbook, I cant use the MSN camera function... Anybody have any idea??? Or it's not compatible with the camera built-in.
4) I want to use "3D Studio Max", its it compatible with Mac OS??? and will it be laggish if i uses macbook 13" white?

With your external drive attached, open Disk Utility, found in Applications/Utilities. Choose your drive on the left, and use the Partition tab to set up the number and type of partitions. Partitioning will delete all data on the drive.

Don't forget that the Mac, just like Windows, is multi-user. You can set up a user for yourself and one for guests or specific people. Nobody can see anybody else's files. You can lock your computer when you go away from the desk if you want absolute privacy.
Or, you can create an encrypted disk image (also using Disk Utility) to store private files if you really want to stick with one user account.

Do you mean VMWare Fusion? I believe iSight support is included in the VMWare Tools - when you're running Fusion, there's a menu option to install/update those tools.

I believe it's Mac only, so you should check the Windows specs (RAM requirements, graphic card VRAM, etc) to see if you can run it within a virtual Windows on your Macbook.

I have an XML which works fine with downloading and even when deploying onto test machine but would not work on users which has an encrypted HDD and windows firewall turned on. the machine don't seem to pull the updates from Microsoft hence why wanted to
deploy the updates through a GPO start-up script
