Need to pick up user from the position

Hi All,
In my workflow i have prepared the rule for agent determination , Here users are assigned to a positions , So when i call the rule from my workflow it is giving the postitions,But i need the User Id's which are already assigned to this positions,so please any one could give your ideas to get the user id's from position,
Just a thought Any how Here i am getting the postion ID, So is there any Function module exist to get the user ID' s based on this Position Id ? then i can use that FM.
So please could any one help me to solve this issue..

I admit that there were some mistakes in the previous posting. I have corrected the mistakes and now there is going to be no compile time error. However when i put in the login id and the password it is redirecting me to the login page. I think that the front end jsp is directing the control to the controller servlet. But as "YOU" have pointed out in your previous post,
"by default requestDispatcher.forward(...) does not pass through the filter change. If the user requests the login page from their browser however, then they will still get the error message, which may not be appropriate."
I feel we need to somehow make the code pass through the requestDispatcher.forward(...) method of the servlet.
I am again posting the corrected code.

Cannot delete users from the Central Management Console

I cannot delete users from the Central Management Console. I'm logged in to Enterprise as administrator but still get the following error:
There was an error while writing data back to the server: Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Delete objects' (id - 22) for 'koberg' (id - 725415). Please contact your system or permissions administrator if you require this right.

Oops, my mistake, sorry. Ok, so the Administrator cannot delete user koberg.
Check top level:
Logon to CMC, browse to Home > Settings and select the Rights tab. These are your top level settings. Factory default will show only Administrators and Everyone. Select the Net Access "Advanced" for the Administrators group. NB: Do not select these group names links - they will jump you out of the top level! On the Advanced rights page, ensure the right to "Delete objects" is explicitly granted.
Then set for the Users top level folder:
In the CMC, browse to Home, and select Users. Select the "Rights" button. Again - NB: Do not select these group names links - they will jump you out of the Users top level folder! Set the Administrators group to "Full Control". Save.
That should be all you need. However, there is a possibility the previous admin was busy setting security not only at the account level, but on groups so we need to verify the user:
In the CMC, browse to Home, and select Users. In the User list, select koberg. In the koberg account page, select the Rights tab. If the Administrators is not set to (Inherited Rights), make it so, and when you select the "Update" button, you should see the Net Access update to "Full Control". If this is the case, you should follow these steps on each account and accomplish this.
And if you still can't delete it, verify the groups:
In the CMC, browse to Home, and select Users. In the User list, select koberg. In the koberg account page, select the "Member of" tab. Note all groups koberg is a member of. Then in the CMC, browse to Home, and select Groups. Select the name hyperlink for the group(s) that koberg belongs to. On the group page, select the Rights tab, and ensure the Administrators have (Inherited Rights) - Full Control on all of these, also. If not, set it.
Finally, I know you inherited this, but let's overview some basics of simplifying your deployment administration. Follow these guidelines, and your administration life will be so much easier.
1. The Everyone group should never have any subgroups. Ever. All accounts on the system are a member of the Everyone group. Adding subgroups to the Everyone group is redundant.
2. For simplicity's sake, Application level access should be set on the Adminstrators Group, and the Everyone group. I know there are customers who add groups to application rights. I don't understand why users would have an account on the system if they are not allowed access to InfoView, but it's your system.
3. From a report object perspective, the Everyone group should be set at the top level to "No Access". This will result in them having no rights on anything at all. You break this inheritance at the application level to give them access to InfoView and other apps. On folders and objects, you ADD groups, then assign (ADD) rights as desired.
4. If you can help it, never explicitly deny a right to any user or group for any object or application. Explicitly deny overrides any other setting. If a user belongs to group A and group B, and group A is explicitly denied a right, you can explicitly grant it for group B or the user all day long, and it will still be denied. Always try to put yourself in the position of adding groups/users, and adding rights, then inheriting as far down the folder tree as you can.

How to find out the user from the Jobs queue in Report server

Hello All!
I have a doubt about finding out the user from the scheduled jobs queue. Say I go ahead and schedule a report on Reports Server how can I find out the user name. When I view the jobs using showjobs I could see that the DBMS_JOBS table has a column under "Job Owner". But it invariantly shows it is "rwuser". So is there a way to find out which user has scheduled which job?

Need to create a user from procedure

Hi to all,
I need to create a user from oracle stored procedure. i am able to create a proceure successfully, when i am executing the procedure i cant able to successfully run it. it is throwing insufficient privileges. i tried to run the procedure from system user also.
The below one is the procedure.

the code is parsed successfully and created without any errors
when trying to executing it throwing error as insufficient privileges
the user is dba privileged and tried this procedure to execute from the system user also, getting the same output.
I need to know whether it is possible to create user from a procedure, package or a trigger.

Is there a way to hide users from the FileVault 2 ''main boot'' login screen?

After your entire disk is encrypted with FileVault 2, there is a now a ''main'' boot login screen with users displayed--after a full shutdown/restart--as opposed to a ''normal'' login screen when logging users in and out after booting into FileVault 2.
If that made any sense...there was a way to hide users from the ''normal'' login screen before by running this Terminal command:
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow \ HiddenUsersList -array-add xxxx
(xxxx being a short user's name)
How do I do this now for the login screen that comes up on a full/shutdown restart?

Not really, but you can move them from the home screen to, say, the 4th, or 10th screens. But you do need to have at least one app in every screen on the phone. My idea was to have several blanks before the screen with her apps, but the phone doesn't allow this.
Sounds like time for the Iron Fist. ::grin:: Putting your foot down. Funny how those two descriptions don't quite match up. Our 5 year old son loves to use the iPhone, and with consistent training we have minimal trouble when he doesn't want to quit.

WRT54GX2 does not pick up time from the network...

I have a WRT54GX2 running firmware 1.01.14 and it does not pick up time from the network. I have PacBell (now AT&T) as an ISP and a DSL link. My old Netgear router picks up the time immediately. I am trying to figure out if I have a defective unit or if this is a firmware bug. Without the time, I can not use any of the scheduling functions, nor measure uptime.
Does anyone have this router with the time working? I have set the appropriate time zone.

however ntp works on TCP port 123. ping works on udp 7 afaik. if your old netgear works i guess this is a router problem.
have you reset the router yet? afaik press reset button for 10 seconds.

People Picker Showing Users From Both Domains

We recently have begun setting up and laying out SharePoint 2010 Standard. It was brought to my attention that when using the search/browse function of the 'people picker' it is showing users from both the domains currently available on our network. Our
current domain is a *.local domain and the old one which is no longer used for very much is a *.com domain. I have researched this issue and tried running the stsadm 'getproperty' and 'setproperty' commands. The 'getproperty' command for "peoplepicker-distributionlistsearchdomains",
"peoplepicker-searchadforests", "searchadfilter", etc; always returns "<Property Exist="No" />" even after I have just run a set command and it reports that the command had run successfully. I read something
about setting the stsadm -o setapppassword -password command, but I am unsure what this does to the current sharepoint configuration.
Hopefully someone can help me fix this issue so that when people select browse/search only users from the *.local domain are shown.

This is normal when there is a trust between the domains. It is also normal if you previously added users from the .com domain to a SharePoint site as they'll be in the ULS logs.
To resolve the first type of issue, where a trust does exist, run:
stsadm -o setproperty -pn peoplepicker-searchadforests -pv "forest:domain.local" -url http://webAppUrl
To resolve the second issue, run:
$user = Get-SPUser -Identity "COMdomain\username" -Web http://webUrl

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

There is another option if the Macbook will start up in Target Disk Mode.
Restart the computer while holding down the T key. If you see the firewire symbol moving around on the screen you can connect this one to another one in TDM. You will need a suitable cable to connect the two Macs.

I have a list of users in a file and i want to write a script to delete all these
users from my database.
I have tried deleting users using:
drop user user1,user2,user3..... but it doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone suggest how do i read the users from the file and delete them one by one

My experience is with the iPhone 4S and the "new" iPad, both of which I ordered early on the opening pre-order day. In both cases the wording from Apple during the media event was "pre-orders will start on ABC date for delivery on XYZ date" which was also the same day they were to go on sale in stores. In both cases, the UPS truck rolled up earlier than usual XYZ date as promised to hand me my new iPhone/iPad. In both cases there were instances of confusion due to some pre-order confirmations stating incorrectly "SCHEDULED SHIPPING DATE: XYZ". In both cases that caused much fear, panick, and trepidation that fed upon itself as it permeated a widely scattered forum linked community of "adults" that seem to collectively revert to a state of childish impatience and ultimately child-like glee as they obsessively refresh their dedicated tracking browser window; become convinced that there is no hope of escaping the dread delayed shippment, and then finally receive their new toy exactly when they were supposed to. Not that I personally would ever succumb to that of course. Er uhm ... it's just what I've seen you know .. nothing I can really relate to.

JAVA, sqlserver - Need to load an image from the sql server database

I need to load an image from the sql server database using java. I have connected to the database and getting all other records except the records for a photo (datatype = LONGVARBINARY) and Remarks (datatype = LONGVARCHAR).
I am using java and sql server db. The photo and remarks are stored in the db. and i need to show the image and the remarks fetching them from there.
I get the error :

No. You are using Microsoft SQL server if I have to believe your initial post. A quick google tells me that the dialect class to use is:

Create an user from the existing user.

Recently i have created one user from the existing user in a different server.
Oracle version :10.2.0.1.0
I have granted the similar roles same as in production.
In Production:
SQL> select granted_role,grantee from dba_role_privs where grantee in ('TRADELOANS');
GRANTED_ROLE                   GRANTEE
RESOURCE                       TRADELOANS
CONNECT                        TRADELOANS
In Test:
SQL> select granted_role,grantee from dba_role_privs where grantee in ('TRADELOANS');
GRANTED_ROLE                   GRANTEE
RESOURCE                       TRADELOANS
CONNECT                        TRADELOANS
But the user complained that he is getting error like 'user lacks CREATE SESSSION privilege'. He also says he is able to connect to production but for the test he is getting that error
Can anybody let me know where i have done the mistake?
