Need to request service Tech to an area that service has become garbage.

My in laws have cell phones on my account and recently the service on their cell phones has become garbage.  The both have samsung galaxy phones and even when I go their front or back yard or in the house the service plummets.  The Address is in Greenport, NY 11944.  It used to be very good but the only way to get a clear call lately is walking to almost the road.  I worked for verizon 4 years and this seemed awkward to be that the service would change.  It used to work great in the house but has become poor.

    hendrickmsman24, thank you very much for trying those steps. I want wo make sure that we can get you guys back up and running with good service. If they have a 4G device the *228 will not work. The best way to update the service is to have them power the device off and pull the battery from the phone. Once the battery is out please have them remove the sim card for a good 5-10 seconds. Then place everything back together and power it back on. Then re-test the service. Please keep us posted.

    I have not had a dial tone on my landline phone for over two weeks so I made an appointment for a service tech to come today to fix my phone--it was the earliest appointment I could get.  I was told that the Verizon tech would come between 8 a.m. and 12 noon.  As I work during the week, I had to take off the day from work to be home for the service call.  Two days ago, I got a call on my cell phone  from a real person at Verizon confirming that I would be home today for the service tech.  Yesterday, I got an automated phone call confirming thatthe tech would be coming today between 8 a.m. and 12 noon and confirming that I would be home.  At 10:00 a.m. today, I got a text message on my cell phone stating that the service tech would arrive before 12 noon.  When he did not show by 1:30 p.m., I called Verizon and after 15 minutesof  trying to get a real person on line I was told that the service tech would not be coming after all!!   No apology was offered for my inconvenience.  Another appointment was made for tomorrow (when I can't be home) to check my outside line, but if that does not fix  the problem, what am I supposed to do?   This is the worst cucstomer service problem I have ever experienced.  I had been thinking of switching from Comcast to Verizon FIOS, but if this is the kind of "customer service" I can expect from Verizon, then I would have to have my head examined to make a switch.  At least Comcast comes out when they say they will.

    I waited the next day.  Technician was a no show.  Why call?  They will show up when they want to and could care less about wasting customers time.  So I will wait...
    This company clearly needs some competition to get them to start listening to customers.  If I didn't show up for work for three days and did not call, I would be fired.  Think about that, Verizon.

  • Are any scanners working with Mavericks? Am I the only person who believes that scanning has become an essential service of any current OS?

    It's been a while now since Mavericks was released in the wild.  The same afternoon I upgraded I attempted to do something which has become more routine than printing - scanning.  But when I went to find my scanning software, there was nothing there.  A reinstall of the latest drivers for my all-in-one printer/scanner did not fix the problem - still no scanner.  A search of the manufacturer's web site for drivers to work with Mavericks found nothing. 
    At first I assumed it was just my "not os ordinary" printer/scanner but my wife's very ordinary printer/scanner was the same - neither manufacturer had a driver for Mavericks.  Further a little web searching lead me to believe that there are not many, if any scanner manufacturers who do support Mavericks - is that possible?
    Can Apple has decided that scanning is not an essential service for an OS?  It might have been nice to ask first or at least warn us - some of us depend upon our Apple systems for a livelyhood.  Has anyone heard any good news about when scanner drivers will be available for Mavericks?

    Try using the OS X pre installed Image Capture app in your Applications folder.
    Connect the scanner to your Mac whether Wi-Fi or USB.
    Launch Image Capture.
    Click the very small black box bottom left side of the Image Capture window.
    You'll see this pop up menu:   Connecting this (device) opens:
    You can select a default app to scan (Image Capture) and select a folder from the Imort To pop up menu on the right to save scanned files to.

  • Service Call and Invoice For That Service Call

    What field relates an invoice created within the service call form under expenses, to the originating service call number. I know it is somewhere but I cannot find it.  The invoice needs to know the originating service calll number.

    Yes the field is there SCL4 but the problem is timing. It is posted too late to be meaningful.
    While in an invoice,  I need to capture the service call ID so that I can assign the service call id to a field in the invoice, and also
    import the remarks from the service call to the remarks on the invoice.
    The way B1 words is that SCL4 gets populated way too late in the game. The SCL4 table gets populated only after Updating  the service call itself. This is after the user has created and exited the invoice.
    Any other suggestions for dynamically capturnig the invoice id during invoice creation under a service call?

    For R/3 4.7 based on WAS 6.20, If you activate the /sap/bc/soap/rfc service in SICF, you activate the possibility to use all RFC enabled function modules as web services.
    Suppose you want to test with function module STFC_CONNECTION
    You will access the WSDL with this URL
    http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/soap/wsdl11?services=STFC_CONNECTION&sap-client=<client>
    You will call the web service with an HTTP POST to this URL
    http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/soap/rfc?services=STFC_CONNECTION&sap-client=<client>&sap-user=<user>&sap-password=<password>
    >HTTP 500 Internal server error occurs u2013 Page cannot be displayed
    If you tested the call with a web browser and not a web service client, this is perfecly normal.
    The browser sends an HTTP GET with no SOAP enveloppe...
    On our R/3 4.7 production system we call up to 30 web services per second. It works great !

    I Have the same problem, I switched off location services, maps in data, whatever else maps could be involved in nd then just last nite it chewed 100mb... I'm also on vodacom so I'm seeing a pattern here somehow. Siri was switched on however so I switched it off now nd will see what happens. but I'm gonna go into both apple and vodacom this afternoon because this must be sorted out its a serious issue we have on our hands and some uproar needs to be made against those responsible!

    This is a common concern among Android and I-phone user, and one of the drawbacks to using a smart phone.  We lose so much privacy. Our phones become cameras into our homes for us to be spied on.
    I don't know what type of phone you have, if it is even a smart phone, but here is an example of an application that you can use to determine which applications are accessing your information and sending it out.

  • Two weeks of no service, techs unable to fix

    We're newish to Uverse. Have had an Internet/tv bundle for a couple months with zero issues. Then two weeks ago, the TV picture started freezing and pixelating randomly, and Internet speed started getting slow. Tried all the reboots (manual and using app). No improvement after a couple days. Called for service.
    We've had three techs visit. So far, two new gateways. A new service line to the house. Switched ports at the box. Still not working. It got worse after the second gateway switch, as now I cannot connect to many sites, streaming services, etc. So I'm basically paying Uverse for two weeks of nothing, with no solutions in sight.
    Second tech gave me the local service manager's number. So I call him twice, most recently on Monday; and he (nicely) tells me there's a national level issue that should be resolved this week and to be patient. And that a bill credit will likely follow. He told me not to bother calling the main support line for service because it would just be flagged as part of the bigger issue, and nothing would get done.
    Well, it's been two full weeks. Nothin'. Very frustrated. We can't work from home, my cell data has been completely drained, etc. Anyone have a similar experience and have workarounds or advice on getting this resolved?
    (And sorry if this is in the wrong place -- since I'm using cell data to post, I don't want to spend a lot of time browsing. Can totally be moved.)

    I started having the same issues over a week ago.  Same story as yours only this is the second time I've been through this.  Last time was within the past year and it took 2 visits and replacement of all the equipment to resolve it.  So far, this time, I've had one technician who replaced everything including something on the outside box, and it still did not work.  When I "chatted" that the problem wasn't fixed, the agent told me he had run a test and I needed a new router - then the next message was "I mean you need a new receiver".  I argued that I needed a technician (preferrably the same one since he would be familiar with what was done the night before)...that I should not have fix the problem myself by doing the install myself, but the agent told me he would send out the receiver and I didn't need an agent to install it.  Totally ignored my strong request that I wanted an agent.  Well, 2 days later my package arrived...it was the router /Gateway - not the receiveer.  So I installed the new Gateway and then had to return the old one via UPS or I'd be charge $150.  As soon as I started watching TV again, the freezing / pixelating started again.  So the next day I called / chatted, and told them THIS time I want a technician...don't send me any more equipment.  So they scheduled for last night...I left work an hour early to make the appointment only to have the technican be a no-show due to "network issues".  The message stated that someone would contact me to reschedule, but it has not yet happened!

    I had Comcast Internet service installed last month.  How do I obtain a copy of the Comcast technician work order receipt for this visit?  It is needed for a $50 rebate for the router that I purchased during the phone call with Comcast when I ordered the Internet service.  I called Comcast yesterday and they told me they cannot provide me a copy of the tech's work order receipt.  Yes, I probably received the receipt from the technician when he was at my house, but I can't find it now.  The rebate offer requires a copy of my first Comcast bill (which I have) AND a copy of the technician receipt (which I don't).  Can you help?  Thanks

Proxyservice B(Async) picks that message from queue and invokes the provides, if we get any binding fault or remote fault 5 retries are made (Proxy service XA enabled and if proxy service gets errored out then message remains in same queue) and message is put into error queue( if we get any business fault the message is put into undelivered queue no retries needs to be made). So whenever the message is put into the errorqueue an email notification must be sent to the sustain team. And then the ,message needs to be moved back to the queueAso that the message gets processed again
