Need way to make payment

I am in an unusual situation. I purchased a cell phone about 3 weeks ago at a Houston Best Buy. I did not have my BB credit card with me at the time, so they just used my personal info to pull up the card or account number. I then immediately jumped on a plane to Thailand, with the phone and the receipt. I am still here. I assumed I could use the info on the receipt to make a 'bill pay' from my bank account......but I cannot seem to find my account number on my receipt. Is it there among all the other numbers somewhere and I just do not realize it?? I have no one in my home in the states that can get that info for me. I need the account number to make a on-line payment from my bank. Can you help me please? THANK YOU for any suggestions or fixes!!

Hello Longlivedixie,
Thank you for taking the time to sign up for the forum and connect with us.
The information jxs2 has provided is right on point.  If you are currently outside of the US and do not know your Best Buy credit card account number, then you will want to contact Citibank directly in-order to make a payment.  You can register your Best Buy credit card account online and make payments, but you would need your account number.  To make a payment, you would want to call 1-888-574-1301.  Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • Disconnected for Financial Hardship: No Way to Make Payment Arrangements

Lately, I have been sick a lot missing substantial chunks of my paychecks and it's been increasingly difficult to keep up with my ~$130 monthly bill that includes high speed internet and cable TV. On June 24, 2015 Comcast suspended my service because I had a $202 past due. However, I couldn't pay that amount until July 3rd, when I would get my paycheck. Normally, with other companies (like my cell phone and electricity providers) I can work out payment arrangements, setting up automated withdrawals from my debit card or electronic checks on the dates I know I have enough funds to pay. Well, it was impossible to do this with Comcast, either on the phone or emailing the We_Can_Help customer service address. I was even told that on July 3rd I would have to pay $341 instead of $202 because the system would generate a new bill on July 1st. I've been a customer for 13 years and was very displeased with the treatment. I've always paid my bills and caught up with them when late. Plus, I did express my willingness to pay, providing precise dates as to when I could make my payments. So, I filed complaints with BBB and FCC.  Eventually, on the fifth day since my disconnection, a regional executive got in touch with me and was able to get my service restored against my promise to pay $202 on July 3rd, which I did. Lo and behold, not even a week later, I was disconnected again, this time being asked to pay $138. Luckily, I was able to reach the same executive who was expecting a follow-up call from me, and she managed to restore my service again. That didn't last long, though. On Monday, July 20, my service was suspended for the third time in less than a month, and, of course, reaching out to customer service didn't help. Since I was out sick a lot, my next paycheck will be super low and I can't afford $138. I can pay half of it, though, and the other half on August 14, when I get the following paycheck. Nobody at Comcast seems to be able to note this down and restore my service, though.  I should also mention that I've desperately tried to cancel my cable TV so it would be easier for me to catch up with my bills, but I was told I have to pay all the past due bills in full before I can make any changes to my service (never mind Comcast bills you one month in advance). So, the bills keep piling up and with late fees and all, it's really a struggle to catch up. Also, the 5 days I was without service were not deducted from my new bill.  A fast home internet connection is a must for me because I'm currently freelancing in addition to my part-time steady job and am taking an online class. I'm tired of being disconnected without notice and for several days at a time when I'm actually proactive and trying to set up payment arrangements. I've filed new complaints with BBB, FCC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and even the VA and PA office of the Attorney General, but these things take time and I have urgency to get my service back. There should be a way to schedule payments so that I catch up with my bills without losing service!

So, after I posted this, I got a call from an alleged Comcast executive who identified herself as "Stacy" (no last name). I'm not sure what prompted her to call me -- whether it was the above post, or one of my numerous complaints.  "Stacy"'s reason for not wanting to restore my service is that I "promised" to pay the $139 on July 17, but I didn't, so that's a breach of contract and I will never have my service restored until I pay in full. She couldn't care less that I could pay that amount only on August 14, and by then it wouldn't be enough to get me back on because a new bill would be generated and the past due would increase. When I told her that I can't afford to be without the internet for so long because I need it for work, she had the nerve to say that my internet is "for entertainment". Says who? I freelance and I occasionally work from home for my part-time job, too. I don't own a business, so it's more cost effective for me to just pay for residential high speed internet than a business plan. Ms. "Stacy" doesn't live with me and has no right to infer that I use my internet "for entertainment" -- she can't possibly know how much time I spend on it working or studying vs watching cat videos on YouTube! Also, just to clarify, I never "promised" to pay the whole $139 on July 17. I said that would be the first day I could make a payment because I was getting a paycheck, and I did mean to pay as much as I could, but my electricity would be shut off if I didn't pay at least $70 and that took priority. At least, Dominion accepts payment arrangements and works with you splitting the payments as you can afford them.  When I complained that I'm never allowed to downgrade my service and cancel my TV until I pay the full past due amount, "Stacy" said "TV and internet is the same" which is not because I would save $30 a month if I only paid for internet. Then she tried to blame me for not calling to cancel when the service is working as opposed to disconnected, which I have done an infinite number of times. In the end, she adamantly denied to restore my service and told me if I want to find a lawyer to help me with this, it's my right (but it didn't seem to concern her, as in her mind Comcast is right and maybe too powerful to be deterred by a lawsuit). I did let her know that this is very bad customer service and now I want to let know whoever reads this, too. After this conversation, I called to cancel my service and the retention representative I spoke to had more common sense and waived the late fee on my past due because I've been with Comcast for 12 years and I'm behind - what? - maybe a month, month and a half? Big deal!  I've really been through health issues and financial hardship and all I'm asking is to get at least my internet restored so I can work from home and study online instead of losing money and falling behind with my classes and homework. I'm not asking to get away with not paying my past due. I will eventually catch up. What's the difference between paying half of it on July 31 and the other half on August 14 or paying all of it on August 14? In the end, Comcast would still receive the same amount that I owe. It may not be Comcast's policy to accommodate such payment arrangements, but life happens and customers can get ill, lose their jobs, have unexpected expenses, etc. A company with a heart who really cares about its customers should have a policy in place to help and retain such customers during a rough patch. I know Comcast proudly offers high speed internet access for $10 a month to families with at least one child who qualifies for a free meal or a subsidized meal at school. That's great, but there are many more people who struggle financially and they have the same rights to access the internet, especially if they use it to work and study. From now on, I'll be happy to discourage anybody I know from signing up with Comcast or suggest they switch providers if they're lucky enough to have a choice (unfortunately, I'm not). I may not get my internet back, but I'll take advantage of every free wireless spot and my cell phone service to post my story to any available public forum so that everybody knows how horrible Comcast's customer service is. Well, not everybody is horrible -- the reps I talked to last night after "Stacy" called me (one from Retention and one from Collections) were actually pretty nice and reasonable, but they had their hands tied by company policies and couldn't do anything to help me restore my service. I know losing a customer is no big deal financially for a giant like Comcast, but business isn't just about money. It's also about ethics and satisfying/retaining customers.

I am sorry that you don't find the answer to be correct. In THIS forum, telling you that you are in the wrong forum, and suggesting where to post for correct answers, or indeed any support, IS the answer.
I'm also sorry that you purchased a phone that you are having trouble with. If the vendor cannot help you (HTC), and the eBay seller cannot help you, then you really do need to either follow up with the forums Ken suggests, or the HTC forum, or with eBay.

Okay then. If your seven numbers are in column B then the formula next to each number in column C would be
    =IF(B=0,0,1700/COUNTIF(B,">0"))
This assumes all non-zero numbers are positive numbers. The sum will be 1700.

I need to create a banner in Fireworks but the canvas is only allowed to go up to 6000px at 300dpi, is there a way to make it larger?

Do NOT use Fireworks for print work. Use Illustrator, InkScape, InDesign, Scribus, Xara Designer Pro, Photoshop, etc, anything BUT Fireworks. Fireworks is meant for web graphics.
However, if you are still convinced it is a good idea to do this in Fw, there is a way to increase the max canvas size:
    Source
However, you can change the limit.
Make sure that Fireworks is closed, open Fireworks CS6 Preferences.txt file located in:
    Windows 7/Vista: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS6\English\
    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS6\English\
    MacOS X: Library/Preferences/Adobe Fireworks CS6/en/
    and change
      <key>MaxDocSizeInPixels</key> <integer>6000</integer>
    to
      <key>MaxDocSizeInPixels</key> <integer>10000</integer>
or adjust this number as needed.

    Hi everyone,
I want to setup a web site and sell some digital documents on it. After a user makes payment, he/she will be able to download the documents. What are some popular ways to approach this goal? how to connect the payment and download efficiently and securely?

    Hi Haritha,
Go to Tcode SE16, give your ODS active Table name and give width of output list as 1023.
Now run transaction to see your data and then click Settings --> User parameters and Select ALV Grid Display.
Now you should see and Excel Icon on top, click on it then select Table , then
Microsoft Excel and it will open your data with all columns you want.
I just tried for 213 columns
    Hope this helps.

I've even tried another card and get the same. Confused. Any advice?

You have a Puerto Rico address on your account ? From a quick search I've found one site from somebody in Puerto Rico that includes a screenshot for an app receipt showing tax of 7 cents added to a 99 cent purchase. Are you able to view the purchase history on the account that you've been using, and see what prices show on them (e.g. if the store's listed price or price plus tax) : Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, then 'see all' link next to the Purchase History section.

  • Autopay account fails to make payment after account changed on UNLIMITED DATA PLAN

Auto pay feature fails to make payments without any logical reason:  About 7 months ago I changed my account using My Verizon webpage.  It has repeatedly failed to make a payment, resulting in over-charges and Verizon imposing a cash-only status for six months.  My bank - and Verizon - confirmed that account information was correct, and no one could account why this was occurring, but read on!  I believe this is more than a billing company or computer-generated glitch.  I have an unlimited data account that was started years ago, and I believe many of you who have these accounts may be having the same billing issue.  It is the prerogative of wireless carriers to now make huge profits by selling variable data plans from people needing more data bandwidth per month - in fact - it is projected that we will use 3000 GB/month by 2017!  New accounts cost way more than my month-to-month; they lose money on people like us.  I believe wireless carriers are trying every tactic they can to eject "unlimited data customers" from their plans.  Having a lapsed billing cycle is one way the contract can dissolve.
I believe these repetitive mysterious auto-pay failures are very result of in-company tampering to disrupt service.  Unfortunately, Verizon did not know that I am a consumer advocate...I know, you are thinking they don't give a... who you are, they are powerful.  I have been taking on such companies, including the CEO's of large companies like ATT, USAA, etc. since 1998.  I have reported thousands of products, services and individuals on 10 global consumer websites in three languages during those years, and used federal and international agencies.  Law enforcement globally has often been used to arrest and convict many online criminals and even foreign pirates.  With a law-enforcement background, and in a family of four powerful attorneys, two judges and two law-enforcement agents - I have an edge on resources and knowledge even powerful companies do not have.  Yes, I am an expert in making life difficult, to impossible for many individuals who under-estimate me.   I wasn't about to have a cash-only punitive measure impounded on me, when I could legally verify from my bank; and from electronic forensics of the Verizon website that the bank information, including a consistent balance of $10 - 17k in that account. Verizon then requested a fax letter from my bank verify the account information so it could be used; just another tactic to harass me.  This type of request is a throwback from the 1980's before electronic communication.
This said, I am suspicious that this may be happening to many more customers than me.  If it is, I would like to hear about this.  Please post experience, and if you also have an unlimited data contract, so I can make an analysis of it.  If I am right, then our collective allegations can be used to generate appropriate complaints and investigations by agencies governing business conduct and licensing of wireless providers, to include possible class-action suits, as well as civil suits, regardless of what your contract states.

JEMAWOD, there's no need to be suspicious. We want to make sure that all of your concerns are addressed. The cash only status on your account will not affect your option to keep the Unlimited data plan. Cash only status is prompted when two payments within a 6 month time period are returned by your financial institution. However, this status is removed after 6 months of good pay history. Did you verify the banking information that you provided when you set up Auto pay? Did you have a chance to contact your bank to verify why those payments were returned?
I hope that the information that I've provided is helpful to you.

  • I share a photo stream with a family member. Is there a way to make it so we have separate photo stream but still use the same apple id?

i share a photo stream with a family member. Is there a way to make it so we have separate photo stream but still use the same apple id?

You'll want a separate iCloud account for each user in addition to the main Apple ID used for purchases.
Let's say you have a family of four (husband, wife, and two children). Here is what you will need:
Main Apple ID for shared purchases in Tunes (everybody will be using this)
iCloud (Apple ID) account for husband
iCloud (Apple ID) account for wife
iCloud (Apple ID) account for child 1
iCloud (Apple ID) account for child 2
Yes, you can have both an Apple ID and iCloud account setup on the same device. On each iOS device, setup the main Apple ID account for the following services:
iCloud (Photo Stream and Backup are the only items selected here).
    Music Home Sharing
    Video Home Sharing
    Photo Stream
Additionally, on each iOS device, add a new iCloud account (Under Mail, Contacts, Calendar) that is unique to each user for the following services:
    Mail (if using @me.com)
    Contacts
    Calendars
    Reminders
    Bookmarks
    Notes
    Find My iPhone
    Messages
    Find Friends
    FaceTime
On your individual Macs (or Mac accounts), use the main Apple ID in iTunes. Then, use the unique iCloud account in/for iCloud.
Now that everbody is using separate iCloud accounts for your contacts, calendars, and other things, it will be all be kept separate.
The only thing that is now 'shared' would be iTunes content (apps and other purchases), backups via iCloud (if enabled), and Photo Stream (if enabled).

  • Iphone 4S newly updated to iOS8, keeps popping up window notifying me of things I turned off (cell usage, location, etc) to preserve battery life.  Is there any way to make them stop telling me every time I use the affected apps?

I have finally taken the step of updating my iPhone 4S to iOS8 after learning the hard way last update to wait for the bugs to be worked out.  I was horrified to find that the battery was being sucked dry in no time at all.  After finding a great article posted elsewhere on the apple forums, I went through and turned off all unnecessary options involving the use of cell data, location services and background refreshing.  My battery life has thankfully returned to what it was before the update.
HOWEVER, now, every time I open an app for which I turned these things off, the window informing me of that pops up.   I am getting really irritated by this as I made all of these decisions deliberately and am well aware that I may need to go back and change them in order to activate certain capabilities when I want to use them.  I had done the same thing with the last iOS, but there were far fewer that needed to be turned off and the battery life seemed to be less affected by those that I left on so it was not the annoyance it has become now.
Is there any way to make the phone stop presenting me with these idiot messages?   TIA

Sorry no, there isn't a way to turn off those reminders.
