Netinet includes missing

When I build my iPhone app using the simulator I have no errors and it works great, but when I build for the device I'm having link errors because it's not finding several of the netinet headers.
The files in particular that are missing:
#include <netinet/in_systm.h>
#include <netinet/ip.h>
#include <netinet/ip_icmp.h>
Any ideas? I really don't want to reinvent these headers and the few functions I am using from them, but I will if I must.

Could you maybe list the files you had to copy and from which directory into which directory?
I am facing the same problem. It's not the first time that something that worked to build for simulator does not build for device. Should be raise bug reports for those things?

ITunes 8 - podcast count includes missing podcast episodes

In iTunes 8 (under podcasts tab) most of my podcasts seem to have disappeared, but they are still included in the episode count for each show. For example, iTunes says I have 20 episodes of MacBreak Weekly, and 3 not-listened to, but only one episode displays when I click the icon to open MacBreak Weekly. The counts are probably about correct for the number of podcasts I previously had, but where are all the missing podcast episodes, and why are they counted if they are not there? I couldn't find anyone else posting this problem.
Any ideas?

I am also having the same issue. The count shows what I expect it to show, but the list is missing podcasts. If I dig into the file system, the Podcasts are there, but no matter what, I can not get them to show in Itunes8

/usr/include missing key ingredients

On my resale SunUltra running (Solaris 8 4/01 s28s_u4wos_08 SPARC), I'm missing crutial header files such as stdio.h.
Loading in my sun c/c++ compilers didn't cure the problem.
Anyone with an explaination (or remedy) please shout.

SUNWhea is on CD 2 of 2. The Sol 8 Installation should have asked you to insert CD 2 of 2 unless you only installed Core or End User software cluster. If you selected Developer, Entire, or Entire + OEM then it looks like you have an incomplete installation.

It is strange to notice SAP ship product without doing a Syntax check?

Follow the instructions of SAP Note 727998. It's the standard answer and it's always recommended. It will solve the SYNTAX_ERROR.
With a currrent ST-PI, you can also perform the steps in your Solution Manager in transaction SDCCN very conveniently.
Run SDCCN, choose Utilities -> Maintain Service Definitions.
The code is generated and can not be delivered by SAP.

Se80 include missing.

One of my include is not appearing when I open my program under se80.
I Have created this include seperately and created the include and added in the code even.
How to make this to appeat in se80 ?

This is not possible in se80...!
If you see in the repositiry browser in SE80 we have no option to display include.
we have for FG & Packages & Programs & Class... but not for includes.
If you created your include under the program then you have to enter the program name and
from there you can see the include,, if not you need to see it in SE38 itself.

Include Missing for Upgrade Project?

We have an include that was never transported vie upgrade to 6.0 processes. Because it was a local transport. And, it gets generated by the main code. It says not to transport. How can I
regenerate the include?

Independent of the release you have to regenerate the coding for validation/substitution. To do this, execute program RGUGBR00. Please select all options, except 'Gen. substn routns in all clnts' and .'Trace prog. generate calls'.

How do I handle this "missing file" error?

While working on my file, I suddenly got a message saying" the following errors occurred while trying to open this document" -then they listed the files (6) and three options 1. to include missing fonts..etc 2. to include missing images...etc 3. to authorize this computer to play iTunes...etc Then there is a CONTINUE button. I have selected various files and hit the continue button but nothing happens. The only way I can rid of it is to quit iWeb but when I reopen it's still there and my page is all criss/crossed with lines and question marks -- help!

Similar issue. When I open iWeb, a window appears "The following errors occurred:" followed by a list of "Missing Fonts" and instructions "To include missing fonts, add them to your Fonts folder." Can anyone please tell me how I do this? I'm hoping this will allow my published web site to appear in my iWeb as it was created in another account. The published site remains correct (BlackFoxManor.com will forward you to the site.) The domain file was moved to my account from an expiring account. Now, all of the fonts and spacing appear altered in the moved file. Is it possible to retrieve a pure copy from the currently published website to make these corrections easier? APSDaemon missing msvcr80.dll

Two problems:
1. When booting up error message indicates that APSDaemon.exe is missing msvcr80.dll
2. unable to reinstall itunes for latest update. error message:
"service apple mobile device failed to start. verify you have sufficient privilges to start system services."
The two are related. Need help in reinstalling Apple mobile device to included missing msvcr80.dll

As I wrote in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The general troubleshooting advice when iTunes fails to install properly (and reinstalling or repairing it does not work) is to remove not only iTunes but all related components, reboot, remove the target installation folders and reinstall.
This is the same approach you would take with any other suite too... e.g. Office, Norton, McAfee, etc.

Missing Files Problem???

When I open up the iWeb Application I get a window that states the following:
"The following errors occurred while trying to open this document:"
"Missing File PhotoGraynavbg-9.png"
"Missing File PhotoGraynavbg-9.jpg"
"Missing File 72767678_b-9.jpg"
Then, it says...
"To include missing images and movies, add them to the document again."
The problem?... I don't want these images in my website but when I'm working on the website I have grayed-out areas with question marks and when I try to publish it won't allow it because of the missing files... PLEASE HELP!

Try deleting the iWeb preference file - Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist - and do a restart of your Mac.

Missing font in iweb "seville"

Trying to edit iweb from 2nd mac, I transferred domain.site2 from original mac (where everything looks fine and is editable)to a thumbdrive, then dragged to corresponding folder on my second mac. When iweb opens the "seville" font is missing. I looked in the font folders and it is nowhere to be found

That is the problem. It's not.
Yes, the font shows up on other computers as well. Because I used "seville" and it is NOT a web safe font I had to use the trick where you apply shadow to the text and basically make it a picture file in iweb.
At home I have the last gen mac mini. I used to keep my G5 tower at work and edit the iweb page between the two by transferring the domain.site2 file with a usb stick. Had no issues.
I sold the G5 and have replaced it with the newest generation iMac. This is the machine that is not locating the "seville" font.
When opening iWeb the page loads but as soon as I click on one of the pages to edit it says "Missing Font" "Seville". "To include missing fonts, add them to your fonts folder, then quit and reopen iWeb".
I have 30+ pages and use the Seville font as a link on EVERY page. It is NOT an option to use another font. Can't I just download the font from apple and put it in the folder? This seems like it should be really easy...
Is the Seville font incompatible on new iMacs? That doesn't seem likely. By the way, my page loads accurately when I open it on the internet from the new iMac

Missing font in iWeb

hi all, every time i start up iWeb i get a message telling me i have a font missing, "MaturaMTScriptCapitals" it then tells me "to include missing fonts, add them to your fonts folder etc", i found my FONTS folder which is empty, underneath it is a folder named Font Collections, there are no clues where i might find this missing font. where did it go ?. and how do i get it back sufficiently to stop this annoying message, please.

First, I know little about iWeb and less about the Font Library, however, my Matura MT Script Capitals font resides in Macintosh HD > Library > Fonts > Microsoft > Matura Script Capitals.
This would lead me to believe that it got added by Microsoft Office products I have loaded.
The font must be used in some project you last opened. When you get the error, is there an option to check to dismiss and don't show the message again?

How to Add Missing Fonts

Hello!
I read through a bunch of other posts but haven't been able to fix my problem. I use Pages to design a project that I turn in each Friday. Today I opened last week's Pages file to update my project for this week and it says:
"The following errors occurred while trying to open this document:
Missing Font -- Hoefler Text-Regular
Missing Font -- Baskerville"
Etc. Lots of missing fonts.
It tells me "To include missing fonts, add them to your Fonts folder, then quit and reopen Pages."
I have no idea how to add a font to my fonts folder or even where my fonts folder is. And where do I get the font? I am so confused! Somebody please help me!

Welcome to Apple Discussions, mowriter.
Open FontBook from the Applications folder and check the font collections "All Fonts" and "User".
Hoefler Text, e.g. is found in my "All Fonts" collection and it even contains duplicates from Mac OS 9 system folder (marked with a black dot).
Maybe you've just disabled the fonts that Pages requests.

Missing file message

When I work in iweb, on occasion, I will get the following error message:
missing file cache 55
missing file cache 54
missing file 56
To include missing fonts...add them to fonts folder
To include missing images add them
To authorize this computer to play song...
I don't know exactly what this means I think all the fonts I used are okay, I took them from the font pull down menu on iweb, the photos are okay, and I am not using music. There is a "continue" button which I click and the message goes away. I just want to be sure I am not causing myself any problems later.

If the photos are in your catalog, do not delete them outsid of the Organizer -- highlight the photos in Organizer and use Edit...Remove from catalog and select the "Remove from hard drive" option if that is what you want.
If you have photos in Organizer that you already deleted, use the same technique to remove them from the catalog.

How do I see when there's a Missed call on Droid Pro

I love my brand new Droid Pro - BUT there are a few things I'm taking too much time trying to figure out. First - where do I see that there is a missed call?

If the phone has an LED light, it should flash that there is a notification of some kind including missed calls.
There will also be a symbol in the top left corner of screen and when you pull down the notification window, it will tell who called or for multiple missed calls the number of calls.
You can also find the full manual online at either Verizon's or Motorola's website. It should explain most of the symbols used in the top notification bar.

I can't unlock Xserve or Xraid with OSX Server Leopard

Or xraid no matter what I do. I didn't have this problem with Tiger and I now have it with leopard. I need to copy files onto the xraid and can't because it's locked. I've tried everything and nothing is taking. What could be happening?

Discussions of bad or misconfigured or unreachable DNS services are regular fodder here. If the translations inherent in most operations are slow or are failing, then the results will include missing services, slow access and timeouts ensue; this all looks like a bad network. Server Admin is sensitive to DNS, as well.
DNS translations go from host name to IP address, irrespective of the IP address block. And (for security and core services) from IP address to DNS host name; reverse DNS.
Mac OS X Server effectively requires functional DNS services, irrespective of the IP address block.
Unrelated to the discussion of DNS configurations, the 192.168.1.0/24 block is a poor choice for a network that may eventually be used with VPNs; that block tends to be used everywhere and subnet collisions will stuff up the IP routing inherent in VPNs.
And yes, do check your IP subnet block settings; make sure you're consistently in 192.168.1.0/24 on the stations connected across your LAN.
It'd be nice to see a future version of the tools run a DNS check on Server Admin (and probably Server Preferences) launch, given the frequency of reports of problems that turn out to be DNS configuration errors here, too.
I meant that the network the system is on doesn't have separate DNS servers as the router arranges the DNS data for the local network (xserve.local and emac.local), which can not be configured (not on the router I have then).
and, I'm not going to use VPN, only HTTP and FTP
