NetStream total length of stream in seconds

NetStream.bytesTotal retrieves the length of the stream in
bytes.
Is there a way to get the total length of the stream in time?
Or is there a way to convert the bytesTotal attribute to time?

I figured it out.
Discovered the client.onMetaData(data:Object) object/method
and the "data.duration" attribute.

AIR 3.4 - Android - netstream freezes between 110 and 240 seconds

Hi,
On Android, netstream freezes between 110 and 240 seconds
with videos in http://xxx/..../video.mp4 format.

Each video freezes at the same time on 3 different devices:
- Asus Transformer TF101 on ICS 4.03,
- Samsung SG2 on ICS 4.03
- Nexus 7 on Jelly Bean 4.1.1
If I use StageVideo, I have the same problem.
Is there a workaround for this problem ?

We were also having this issue with MP4 videos that we had encoded from MOV/WMV video files in both AIR 3.4 and AIR 3.5. It looks like it might be an issue with Adobe Media Encoder CS6. When we switched back to encoding videos with Media Encoder CS5, our videos stopped freezing (they would usually freeze around the 1:30 or 1:40 mark).

I need to know the length of total field symbol, not the value entered in it but its total length.
Like below
<ls_field_tmp> it has Range structure,
suppose =
SIGN (1) =   'I'
OPTION( 2 ) = 'BT'
LOW (4) = '10'
HIGH (4) = '20'
so if we use
        lv_length = STRLEN( <ls_field_tmp> ) then it will give value 7.
i need to get length of all data type : means 1 + 2 + 4 + 4 = 11 , total length .
How i will get this length , please suggest?

I am using Field Symbol
<ls_field_tmp> TYPE ANY.
After Assignment its structure will become like :-
<ls_field_tmp>-sign
<ls_field_tmp>option
<ls_field_tmp>low
<ls_field_tmp>high
Now Sign and option fields are OK because they have fixed data type but LOW and HIGH will depend upon the assignment.
This statement below is working fine for charter or NUMC type fields
DESCRIBE FIELD <ls_field_tmp> LENGTH lv_length IN CHARACTER MODE.
But if the Data type is Decimal or Currency , then it is not working fine.
Firstly the problem is I have to put offset for determining field
<ls_field_tmp>+0(1) = <ls_field_tmp>-sign. like this one ,
if the LOW and HIGH data type is decimal then 1st two field is Char and last two decimal.
So how to know the total length of structure.
OR
Can i assign <ls_field_tmp> to any data type , is it possible ? if yes how ?

How to create lock object when the total length is more than 300bytes?

Dears:
I want to create lock object for a add-on table , and the total length of table's fields is more than 300 bytes.
When I acitve this object, it will show "Total length of lock argument for table ZTEST_XXX longer than 300" error message in log.
Is there any way which can create lock object when total length > 300bytes?

We're doing an upgrade project to 6.0 with Unicode. When I try to reactivate certain classes, I get the following error:
Unable to generate ZCL_ISU_EWB===================CP
Error message from generation:
The instance data in class ZCL_ISU_EWB has a total length of 272456 bytes. However, the total length must not exceed 65535 bytes (any necessary alignment is included in the total length).
Any idea how to solve this?

There would be generation limits and the corresponding traffic lights . Please check it and the subsequent remedy given for it .If problem persists please post back .

NetStream.Play.InsufficientBW when streaming server side playlist

I am streaming pre recorded audio files (mp4) to an AIR client. I have tried two different solutions,
streaming the file directly with the NetStream.play("mp4:xxxxx.m4a") and creating a server side playlist, adding the
same sound clip and then streaming the playlist. The problem is, when streaming the playlist i get a few NetStream.Play.InsufficientBW, this does not happen when streaming the file direct. Both solutions uses bufferTime=1.0
I would like to use a server side playlist to implement a simple key solution so that the client dont know the full path to
the file, but instead sends a key to a custom server side function that looks up the file path and creates a stream for the client.

Subscribing via playlist and playing file directly are two different things , as first one is live mode of play while other is playing recorded file - so the way streams are delivered are also quite different. Can you try setting higher buffer and see if that helps or if you don't want to set higher buffer, see if disabling AggregateMessages (you will find the tag in Application.xml under Live/Queue) helps

Length between locators (in Seconds)

Is there any window, or option that will display the length (in seconds) of the selected area between locators or of a single region?
I am creating "scene changes" music between songs of a medley in a single Logic file.
I want the "scene change" bumpers to be identical in length. I have chosen to display both "bar and time" in the Marquee stripe, however, this require my to SUBTRACT to derive a difference.
I COULD slide the locator strip to the beginning to see the length in time without subtracting, but this is a tedious step, plus it puts me away from the regions I'm trying to trim to size.
Please help if you know of a way to display the length (in seconds, of the locator strip breadth..

hmmm... fastest trick I could think of: drag the green locator to the left until the area almost is at bar 1.
Now, zoom in far at bar 1, and drag the graan area while holding the CTRL button. Keep an eye on the yellow info window, that shows the position. Move the green area until it says "1 1 1 1".
Now, jump to the right locator and see what the time display says.
One disadvantage... works only when using a fixed tempo.

We are using Mapviewer for representing for spatial data in form of a Image .
We are using Mapviwer.addLinearFeaure for drawing lines on the Image( browser)
Thsese lines are drawn .
Now our requirement is we need to calculate the length of the lines in our Image .Please tell me how to do this .

You can do this by two ways.
1) create SDO_GEOMETRY from your coordinates and use SDO_GEOM.SDO_LENGTH to get length of the line.
Or
2) iterate your line points coordinate array and calculate distance between points add it to final length.
Here is snippet to calculate length of line (not tested)
length = 0;
for( i=0; i<coordpts.length-2; i++) {
length = length + getDistance(coordpts[0], coordpts[1]);
to calculate distance between 2 points use below code (getDistance() source code)
double dblDistance = Math.sqrt(Math.pow((dblPt2[0] - dblPt1[0]), 2) + Math.pow((dblPt2[1] - dblPt1[1]), 2));
In both case you need to convert screen coordinate to map coordinate.

How to find the total length of the string drawed in a rect?

Hello Everybody,
I am drawing a string in on one rect using drawInRect method. This drawInRect method gives us a return value as size of the rect. I need length of the string that is did draw in that rect, but didn't find any api to do this.
Can anyone tell me , how find the length of the string which we did draw in rect?

Actually , I am looking for other thing. Using drawInRect method I am drawing contentString in self.rect like below.

My contentString is much larger string, so I am not able to draw it in rect(length: 320.0 height: 460.0) completely. My rect is showing only a part of a contentString. So I need to get that part of string which did draw in the rect, so that I can process my contentString to get the remaining string to draw it a next rect.
The above code statement is returning me the CGSIZE , it is giving the size of the rect but not giving any information of the string which get draw in that rect.Do you have any idea how to do this?

When Importing a word doc the total length of the document is longer

I have a simple 15 page word doc, Times New Roman, double spaced, that I imported into Pages. The problem is that the document increased in length to a full 16 pages! When I opened the document into text edit, and word on windows, the document is the normal size. Any suggestions?

I got it. Highlight the whole document, open up the text inspector, then change the line spacing to 1.9. Worked perfectly on a 15 page document.

Full screen videos/streams on second monitor won't stay full screen while using another window on other monitor

Whenever I open and then full screen a video or stream of any kind, I am unable to use another window of Firefox while the video/stream maintains full screen. When I click off the video/stream it reverts back to the smaller screen. Is there any way to change this?

TS1717 Downloaded "clean" album from store. Some of the songs show their total length, but only play partway thru. Any ideas on how to get songs to play full length?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks only from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.

How to get total time of streaming flv

hello using old AS2 code on an fms project.
it seems that both server-side NetStream object and client-side NetStream object do not have a totalTime property.
my goal is to determine when the flv has completed playing ( has reached the end visually );
so I figured that comparing time to totalTime would work ... but there appears to not be a totalTime.
any suggestions.

Yes - NetStream.Play.Stop followed by NetStream.Buffer.Empty can be equated to video over visually.
NetStream.Play.Stop you would get only once - when it has played back whole FLV or you are manually stopping the play.
When you get NetStream.Play.Stop there migth be some data in client's buffer hence you will still see some visual data being played in client, once buffer is empty which is indicated by NetStream.Buffer.Empty your video display should black out.
