Network connected but no calls/texts
I just replaced my faceplate because my old one was broken. Now my phone doesn't work. Calls, texts, email, nothing that goes over the cell network works. Wifi does work. I've gone into settings and toggled the connections. I've tried soft and hard resets. I've connected to the phone's software. I'm getting a medium-full cell signal but I just can't connect to it. The phone company doesn't chip the faceplate does it? Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums. I will see if I can help you. Try a couple of things. First, on your device, go to Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table. Now press the Menu key (left of the trackpad). Select Register Now. Your device will now try to connect to the network and you should receive a message stating it was sucessful. Next, if that did not do the trick, go to Email Settings. Once connected, you can select the menu key and press Service Books. Press the Send Service Books. You should then receive the latest service books on your device.
Let me know if this helps get you going. If those do not do the trick, then you may have a problem with your account and you may need to call customer service, obviously from another phone. Hope this helps.

I also have Cablevision as my ISP which has over 1,000,000 hotspots. As I drive I am constantly connecting and disconnecting from hotspots. I rang EE’s support number and they passed me to the 2 tier support team, who agreed with your diagnosis but said it takes a little time for them to change it from IPv4 to 6 so I just need to wait for it to be changed over. It actually turns out that because I live in an area with no mobile signal at all they are going to send me a free signal box to connect to my router. I have to say I’m very happy with EE’s support and also a very big thank you to you for pointing me in the right direction. Update: My WiFi calling is now working as well, it came on after 15 mins

my facetime wont open it askes to verify email i gort the email verified it and then i wait for awhile than i get a message saying that facetime couldnt verify email and to check network connectivity but i am connected to the internet. what do i need to do to get my factime working again?

every time I try to export photos from mac mini iphoto to snapfish is says check network connection, but the internet is working great. I have updated everything i can think of please help.
Several people including myself are having the same issue and have contacted HP and Apple. Quite frankly, I'm surprised it's been an issue for so long being that photos uploaded to Snapfish = $$$. Lets hope they can work this one out, as of now, there apparently is no solution.

Ipad2, I can not sign in to imessage after turning it off and doing a hard reboot. Upon entering my info it states no network connection, but I can use it o surf in Safari and iter websites. Any suggestions. Went on with Apple, they think its my network. All other wireless equipment can ign on without problems. This happened after I turned imessage off.
Step by step, how did you arrive at seeing this agreement?

I am having trouble downloading iOS 5 connected to my laptop. Says I don't have network connection but I do. Please help. I purchased tv programs and it is telling me I need ios5 to watch and I downloaded it to cloud but have to have this app also. On my iPad I don't have an updates button under settings like I have seen other iPads have.
You only have the option if you are already running iOS 5 already. If you are trying to update to iOS 5, you have to use iTunes on a computer to update the iPad.

Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi. Open Safari and see if it connects.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Phone and messages is a carrier issue. Sprint needs to check your account to make sure it is set up correctly. If everything looks good on their end, then do a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, try it.

I cannot get this macbook pro to connect to ebay. Other apple computers in my house on same network will but this one will not. This one will connect to any other site, but not ebay. Thoiguhts?
Try using OpenDNS servers:
System Preferences>Network>Advanced>DNS.
Click on the + in the left side column and add the following:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Click OK, then click Apply
BTW one post is sufficient. Two clogs the servers. -

im havin trouble signin into facetime on my mac and i cant get my head around it ive my ID setup but everytime i click on sign in it keeps coming up with CHEAK YOUR NETWORK CONNECTIONS AND TRY AGAIN. There is nothing wrong with my connections as im running 5G from virgin. Is there somthing i need to do in the settings or what. If any1 knows of anything that im doing wrong and can direct my wrong doin in right direction i would be muchly gratfull.
