Ich suche verzweifelt auf der Adobe Homepage für meine Canon EOS 20D das neue Camera RAW. Wer kann mir weiterhelfen?

Das Plugin "Camera-RAW" braucht man, damit Photoshop Elements 2 RAW-Daten lesen kann. Da Photoshop Elements 2 die engine von Photoshop 7 hat, geht das dann einwandfrei. Der Hacken an der Geschichte ist, daß das Plugin schweineteuer ist, sich also für Photoshop Elements nicht rentiert.
Am Besten ist es, auf Photoshop Elements 3 zu warten. Das kann dann RAW Lesen und Konvertieren und gegebenenfalls auch mit zu 16-Bit-Tiff konvertierten Dateien umgehen...

I have Photoshop CS5 and am trying to download the Camera Raw Plug in that will allow me to open images taken with a D800 camera .
It appears the download has been successful when I look in my " Downloads " Folder but I still get a message up saying the installed version of Camera RAW won't support the Camera model ( i.e. D800 ) . What am I missing ??

How do I update camera raw 6.3 on Photoshop CS5 Windows?
I tried the help menu and updates but its not working. I have Nikon D7000 and I took pictures in RAW and they are NEF files that will not open in photoshop, hence the reason i am trying to update my camera raw plugin but I cant figure it out and ive contacting adobe 3 times with no luck. Help!
You will need to do a manual update of the ACR 6.7 plug-in, which is the last version that will run with CS5.

I'm trying to download RAW images from my canon 60d to Photoshop CS5 and it's not working. I did some research and found that I need a Camera RAW Plug-In. Can anyone tell me where to find this plug in? Is that all I need to work with RAW images?
You can install camera raw 6.7 and then your canon 60d files should open in photoshop cs5 using the camera raw dialog.

My problem is that I cannot open DNG files in Photoshop Elements 11 (PE11).
In PE11 (using the Editor in all cases), using File > Open... the filenames do not appear, and drag and drop gives the error "Cannot open ...DNG because it is the wrong type of file" etc.
I have a Pentax K-r and shoot in RAW+JPEG, with RAW set to produce DNG (and I have also tried RAW set to PEF). I had PE4 and could import DNG files into it. I run Win XP SP3.
From my local administrator account, in PE11 I used Help > Updates... to install Photoshop CR 7.4 and it now tells me that everything is up to date.
I uninstalled PE4 in case that was preventing PE11 from opening DNG files in some way, but that did not help - and now I cannot re-activate PE4, as your registration server is no longer online.
I have been working through your help page “Troubleshoot Camera Raw” (CR). Help > About Plug-In… does not list Camera Raw, so I went to Solution 1.
Your help page “Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications” tells me that PE11 shipped with CR 7.1 and is compatible through CR 8.0 – but I cannot find CR 8.0. I followed the link from the Products Update page to Camera Raw (Windows) but the highest version of Camera Raw Update there is 7.1. However, I don’t think this is the root problem. The problem seems to be that I don’t have a Plug-In to update!
I moved on to Solution 2, which should be to remove and reinstall PE11, and I have the media to hand. However, my version is an Upgrade Edition, which requires me still to have my licensed copy of PE4 installed – but I uninstalled PE4 (see above) and cannot get it re-authorised!Yes it is an AMD processor. (I was not aware that there were issues with XP on AMD.)
The system info is below.
I see that the Primary Plug-Ins Folder is set to the local one (....\Photoshop Elements 11\Plug-Ins\) rather than the one under Common Files. Is there a way to change this?

It depends on what operating system you're running.
On Windows x64 you'll find it in two places (32 bit and 64 bit plug-ins):
32 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6\File Formats\Camera Raw.8bi
64 bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6\File Formats\Camera Raw.8bi
On Windows 32 bit it will be here:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6\File Formats\Camera Raw.8bi
I'm not completely sure for a Mac, but an internet search implies that it's here:

I think I may have a Camera Raw plug-in conflict or plug in may be in the wrong place. In both PS3 and Bridge Nikon raw files (NEF) will not open. I've noticed that in photoshop in the pull down menu-about plug-in, I have 2 Camera Raw (s) listed, getting info one is 4.0, the other 4.6.0.30. It appears that my files and .xmp are 4.0 just by searching for 'Camera Raw' either 4. or 4.6 in spotlight. nothing is listed in spotlight under camera raw 4.6, but all my images are listed in the spotlight if I search for camera raw 4.0! I can not open either in Bridge or Photoshop CS3 I just receive the error message 'could not complete this request because photoshop does not reconize this type of file'. any help would this is greatfully appreciated. Thanks
Well if you have a fairly new Nikon camera PS CS3 will not have the proper version of ACR to support that camera.
You could use the Adobe DNG converter to convert the NEF files to DNGs or you can update PS to a newer version that does have support for newer cameras or you could buy Adobe Lightroom V4 which also has support for the newer Nikon cameras. -
If I'm in LIghtroom 5, and try to Edit in Photoshop CS6, I always get the following message: "This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 8.6 for full compatibility." But I have updated to 8.6 and have no remaining updates. How can I fix this?
If I click "Open Anyway" or "Render using Lightroom", I get the following message:
"Adobe Photoshop CS6 cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop CS6 works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X."
Please tell me what to do so I can edit from Lightroom to Photoshop.In Photoshop, if you choose Help - About Plug-in... - Camera Raw, does it say 8.6?
Seems to me there was some hiccup they found in the update process, which prompted this:

I honestly don't know if the problem could apply to 8.6 as well, which is why I asked you to check to make very sure you really got it.

I have CS5 and a d-600. I would like to use camera raw but not working. I downloaded CR 7.3 and still not working. Do I need to upgrade to CS6 ..or just throw it all out the window and get rid of my d-600 ?

Can't open CR2 files in photoshop and camera raw
This weekend I rented a Canon 5D Mark iii. I have downloaded the files and all of the thumbnails in camera raw say CR2 and when I try to open Photoshop does not recognize this product.
I have:
Photoshop CS4
Camera Raw CS4
Canon 5D Mark ii
I have checked my updates folder and all my updates are current. Do I need to upgrade to CS5 or is there a way around this?Hi I recently had a problem opening CR2 files in PHotoshop cs4. I had to reinstall into a new computer, so obviously it installed the basic programme and not the updates.

I found the relevany update that I needed to install and downloaded it, camera raw 5.2 ( Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Camera Raw 5.2 update ) this is the one for the Canon 5d Mk2
After downloading it would not update the progeramme so I was in the same possition, but i noticed the files were there and i just needed to put them in the right place in photoshop so carried on looking for were to put the Plus In.
This led me to the video.
To the point.
Download the update and save to a location where you will remember.
open Adobe photoshop and go to "edit"
Them " Preferences "
then "General "
Then " Plus-Ins"
At the top you will see " Add Plug-Ins Folder " Check this box then navigate to the "win64" ( this is because mine is a windows 64 bit computer and the download is specific ) and Choose it.
Shut down photo shop and try to open a raw.
Bridge doesnt work for some reason but im going to keep looking.

Photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe Camera RAW 6.6
My Significant Other just purchased a Nikon 1 V1 camera. I have an extra copy of Elements 9 that I can install on her computer. According to the Release Notes, support for the Nikon 1 V1 started with ACR 6.6. According to the same Release Notes, ACR 6.6 runs under Photoshop Elements 9.
"This new version of the Camera Raw plug-in replaces the original Camera Raw plug-in that was installed with Photoshop CS5, Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9. "
and
"The Camera Raw 6.6 plug-in is not compatible with versions of Photoshop earlier than Photoshop CS5 or versions of Photoshop Elements earlier than Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows and Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac. "

Which is correct, the Release Notes or the Update Page?After you install photoshop elements 9 on the vista machine follow the steps below to install the camera raw 6.6 plugin:
1. Download the 6.6 DNG Converter and install the profiles:

3. Unzip the folder by right clicking on folder and choosing Extract All

(should be the second folder with a size of 16.0 mb)
6. Right click on the Assets2_1.zip and choose Extract All
7. Rename the file from 1002 to Camera Raw.8bi
8. Right click on the Camera Raw.8bi and choose Copy
9 Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 9\File Formats (64 bit vista)
or
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 9\File Formats (32 bit vista)
10. Drag the old camera raw plugin to the Recycle Bin and right click in the empty space in the folder and choose Paste
Start the pse 9 editor and under Help>About Plug-In>Camera Raw should hopefully say version 6.6. -
Camera Raw 5.2.0.65 opens in German in Photoshop CS4
Hi,
Mac OS X 10.5.6 MBP. I installed the Camera Raw 5.2.0.65 plug-in a while back but since I do most of my image processing in LR 2.2 I hadn't used Camera Raw in PSCS4 or Bridge until tonight when I opened a JPEG from PSCS4 and it opened in Camera Raw. Much to my astonishment all the menus were in German. My operating system language is US English! I navigated to the Camera Raw plug-in and opened the Camera Raw.plugin Info window and under languages there were many but not English. I went to Adobe's web site and downloaded the updater again but it wouldn't run because it said CR was already installed even after I put it in the trash(I didn't delete it though). I don't know how to add English to the plugin.
Any ideas why the Camera Raw plugin doesn't show English as one of the languages? Any solutions?

Yeah, I had a similar issue a while back. It seems that there can be issues if you have ANYTHING in the install location that is anything other than what the installer expects. You may get an incomplete install which is what happened to me. I ended up with Italian instead of German and while Italian is a pretty language, it's pretty odd to see all the control in a foreign. My problem is that Camera Raw would come up normally when hosted by Bridge but come up in Italian when hosted by Photoshop. What it means is that your install is pretty hosed...
The way I fixed it is I had to removed several renamed plug-ins including 5.0 and 5.1 that I had in the folder and switched between using the ¬ (option L) character, install a properly named CameraRaw.plugin which was 5.1, redownload and the reinstall the plug-in. That fixed it. Oh, you may also have to trash your Photoshop prefs...now 5.2 is running only in English. Funny thing is, I know Camera Raw so well, I actually could use the Italian language to work with, but it kinda sucked for doing screenshots which had to be in English...

After designating a digital signature and attempting to save, I receive the following error: Creation of this signature could not be completed. Could not create appearance stream. I attempted to try this on another computer and still the same error.
