New build of 6 properties but only 3 show infinity...
Just moved into a new property in Barton on Sea.
Its 1 of 6 houses built on an existing plot. We share the same BT Openreach manhole on the shared driveway. My house is 1 of 3 that show no infinity available.
I sent an email to nga.enquiries & got the following back:
Cabinet stnewmn13, to which your line is connected, is fibre to the cabinet enabled and showing broadband port availability/take up. Your Communications Provider (CP) is responsible for all aspects of your service including advising on the services they can supply at your address. Please contact your CP for them to check into and deal accordingly
When i look my number up it shows:

The builder confirmed the 6 properties had new lines fitted at the same time.
When i called BT they would not do anything, i am even happy to pay for an engineer to look into it. I need the extra spped as i am a homeworker. Its making me want to move to 3G which i used shortterm in the 1st week & was getting upto 22Mb
What do i do now to get BT to investigate?

One File (But Only 1) shows as an icon in List View of a Finder Window
Finder windows has one inconsistency, but only for this one file, which is a JPG photo. In list view with the option to not show thumbnails (under Command J) Then I get generic JPG badges for each file. If I select: "Show as Icon" then I get a small photo icon for each photo. So far, so good. The problem is with one individual photo file. It always shows as a photo icon, regardless of how I set the checkbox for Show as Icon within a finder Window by sing Command J. So the problem seems to be with that individual file by itself. Using Command I for Show Information on the individual files does not give me any options or clues about how to control the presentation of the icon on its individual files.
Looking at the same image but with different file names or paths, then everything is normal and as it should be. The simple answer is simply erase the "goofy" file and replace it with a new version, but I want to understand what the OS is doing. The same issue with the same file was under OSX 3 and 4. I have 10.6 Snow Leopard now, but the issues was there with Tiger and so on.

It sounds as if the file has its own custom icon, which is different from the "icon preview" that the system constructs on the fly when a custom icon is not present and you have also checked the "show icon preview" box in View Options. If you want to remove a custom icon, do a Get Info on the file, click on the icon at the top left to select it, and hit command-X. -

Do you mean from folders, albums, or projects?
How do you access your Aperure images from other applications? Do you show Aperture in the Media Brower?
Then you need to ensure that Aperture renders previews for all images you want to access externally. Check your settings in the Aperture Preferences -> Previews and enable "Share Previews ..." and "New Projects automatically generate Previews". If reviews are missing for older imports select the images, ctrl click and "Update Preview".

1000 songs on sync iTunes, but only 40+ shows up on phone
I just updated the iOS 8.2
Then I just added more songs after the update, so in total its about 1100+ songs. Then the next day I'm ready to go out for a walk, and only 40 of these songs showed up. But when I sync on the iTunes it shows I have all the 1100 songs on my phone, but they dont show up. This has happened before but the difference was all the songs were gone from my phone, but not on iTunes.
I hate iTunes for that. Every update it's a disaster...When the media on the device won't update as expected during a sync the method that usually works is this:
Export the contents of the camera roll. (You should do this routinely anyway.)
Backup the device, unless you have a recent backup that you would prefer to restore.
Restore as a new device. (The general restore process doesn't seem to clear things out before reloading, so there can be issues with missing artwork or incorrect capacity calculations.)
Restore the chosen backup.
In some cases it might pay to use the recovery mode method given in HT201263: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch at step 3 to ensure that a device has been completely reset before reloading your content.

I have two GigE cameras (Pulnix 4200GE) in my system, each having it's own NI GigE Vision Adapter. The adapters show up in Network Connections and in the system tray as "Local Area Connection" (LAC) and "Local Area Connection 2" (LAC2). However, I can only see one camera at a time in MAX. If I start with both adapters disabled, then enable LAC followed by LAC2, I see one camera (cam0), then both (cam1 shows up) but about 6 seconds later the second camera (cam1) disappears! If I enable the adapters in the reverse order (LAC2 followed by LAC), only cam0 shows up. I can see each camera alone by disabling the other adapter but I cannot get them both to stick around.
There is also an anomoly in the MAX display of the cameras. If I right-click the camera in the NI-IMAQdx folder the context menu has a 'Camera->' sub-menu which shows both cameras even if one has had its adapter disabled. And regardless of which camera I see (cam0 or cam1) the list shows the same camera is checked. This is in conflict with the data showed in the Camera Information tab of the attributes pane in MAX, which shows a different camera (ID'd from the serial number) based upon which one shows up in the folder list. And changing the selection check-marked in the 'Camera->' sub-menu has no effect on the information displayed in the attributes pane.
I have followed the troubleshooting guide and they are both DHCP-enabled and have Auto private addressing enabled. I have updated the Adapter drivers. This is a NI PXI system running Win XP.

JesseIf you are running Windows XP you need to go to the network settings tab in Windows and bridge the two "NI Gige Vision Adapter" ports together (select both, right click and select option to bridge network adapters). This is due to a deficiency in Windows XP where multiple adapters within the same logical subnet (the link local address space, in this case) are not able to be used independently for broadcast traffic. This workaround is not needed on Windows Vista or later.
The details you are seeing by right-clicking the camera in MAX is the list of camera files (saved settings) that can be associated with the camera. You probably have two because both were visible at one point or another to IMAQdx and so unique ones were created. They are probably both associated with the same camera file because if they are both the same model name we have some logic that assumes that if one is removed and a new one is attached, to use the previous camera file. This only happens in certain circumstances---normally if you start with one camera and add a second (or start with two) they will both get unique files created to store their settings. In your case you can use MAX to set the correct association as needed.

New Canon T2i images import but do not show up in library
I imported the first images from a new Canon T2i into iPhoto. The images show up in the "Last Import" folder but when I click on the "Photos" folder in the library they are not there. If I import more pictures from another source the images are no longer in the Last Import folder and I can't find them anywhere. I tried importing a random image and it shows up in both the Last Import folder and the Photos folder. I even went and re-imported them from a back up folder on my hard drive and the same thing happens.
Any help would be appreciated.

JeffIf it's in the Last ImPort then it's in the Library somewhere. Usually this is caused by the dates on the camera being off or a different Sort (View Menu) being chosen.
In Last Import right click on a photo and choose 'Show Event'...

I dont think your requirement can be fulfilled through Standard, but yes you can copy the old PO, and just input the remaining quantity of old po by inputting it manually. -
I've got a brand new installation of Server 2008 Standard, full with GUI and I've setup the server with a public IP so I can get to the internet. Even tested getting to Dell Support website.
But when checking for updates the "Checking for updates" just goes round and round. It never stops and shows me what updates are available.
I'm trying to create an image of this build for testing purposes.
I ran into the same issue when I was doing a VM test and only had a private IP. I thought I wasn't able to get to Windows Update using our internal proxy with the private IP. But now there seems to be more of an issue.
I've already setup the Windows Update service the same way we have for 2003 and 2008 ... Automatic and started.
Any suggestions?Please run the system update readiness tool.

PHP website displays on web server but only text shows on local testing server
Hi, I am not a PHP programmer.
I tried to get the testing server set up in the DW site definition area but was unsuccessful so I am back tracking to first make sure I have a working testing server. So, here is the info:
I took on a new client with a simple PHP site, without any databases.
The site is up and running on the web.
I would like to eventually get it running on my local machine to integrate editable regions for use with Adobe Contribute.
I have latest version of WAMP installed running Apache version 2.2.11 and PHP version 5.3.0
I created a directory in the WAMP "www" project directory and it shows up like it's supposed to when I browse to "localhost"
Problem:
The home page of website displays text but no, images, styles, footer, header, nav links, etc.

Also ADDT does not work fully with php 5.3.0 as this may also be your error. When you say it only shows text do you mean dynamic text values or just text that is not dynamic? -
I have faces in my iPhoto but only one shows on my iPad 2. why?

Click on the Add Library button,
and select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired. -

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

Paid $90 but only $30 shows as credit
Hello ... wondering if anyone else has the same issue and how I can get this resolved.
In 2014 purchased a number for business and paid $30 for the year.
In Feb 2015 renewed this with $30 .
In Mar 2015 number stopped working. Asked me to pay $30 more. Because it is a business, I paid.
Same day Skype asked me to buy more credit to be able to make calls. So I did.
Now account only shows a balance of $30.
Put in a ticket. But they were unable to help.
Chatted with 3 different people today (4/8/2015). All said - "recurred phone number of $6)". When asked where they got that from ... their systems suddenly, and mysteriously, started a maintenenace program and they disconnected.
So the question is whre did the $60 go? If I say that phone no. cost is $30 ... where did the $30 vanish? What IS the cost of the phone number for the year?
