New currency code in default list in shopping cart

Hi Gurus
We are using SRM 4.0. When you create a shopping cart, you get a list of currencies to choose from. how does that default list gets populated. How can I get a new currency code to be populated in that default selection list.

Thanks for your response. Just to make it clear so values will appear as per what user has been using previously. Could you please tell me if there is way I can update these user favourites.
This is a new currency. And in shopping cart there is no option to enter it or search for it. I dont know how to get it to the shopping cart list so that user can create a shopping cart.

Creating New:
Click on Create button. If you cannot see that it could be a authorization issue
then Business Object: BUS2121
Double Click the event linkage for one step workflow
Define the expressions, Check Consistency and click on Traansfer
Start Condition is created. If it is not Active click on the Red Button to make it Active
Editing Already existing:
Click on Edit Button If you cannot see that it could be a authorization issue
then select Business Object: BUS2121
Click on the condition part (White area) of the start condtion needing editing
Change the expressions, Check Consistency) and click on Traansfer.If it is not Active click on the Red Button to make it Active

Company code not showing in the shopping cart list

Can anyone please help me with this?
Currently we are on SRM 5.0 with extended and connected to one backend system. Everything works good. Now we are trying to connect another backend system to SRM. The situation is that we have made the same copy of our backend and using it as another backend system. Both backends will have the same product categories, purchasing organization. We are using BADI to determine the backend system based on company code. When I change the company code backend system for the user in org strcuture, the same company code do not show up in the shopping cart list while creating.
We have made most of the org structure changes, but still I am not able to find the exact reason why the company code is not coming in the list. Can anyone please help?

Hi Kishore
Whaever you have inherited in the Attribute BUK or Function tab , you can receive that comapany code in the shopping cart.
all sc value comes from Org structure.
run bbp_check_consitency for your user SC.
however now your landacape is equivalent to two ECC and one SRM systems.

but how to set default variant to this new t-code.
seems like new variant still tied with old-t-code.
pls advise.

From what I know the variants are tied with the REPORT and not with the TRANSACTION.
Please see the tables below:
VARID (Variant directory)
VARIS (Assignment of variant to selection screen)
VARIT (Variant Texts)
VARI (ABAP/4: Variant storage (similar to INDX))

Help with Wish List / Favorites / Shopping (Cart) without the Shopping.

I need to add a "Wish List" / "Favorites" that can be emailed to a Muse site that has already been created. It's like a shopping cart without any need to actually check out and buy anything. Google searches have not produced much help as of yet except for I did find something called simplecart.js that sounded promising because it uses JavaScript and as far as I can tell Muse can use JavaScript. I am still struggling figuring out how to implement simplecart.js but at least it was a start. Would anyone here have any alternative suggestions for me or be able to point me in a different or better direction. I find it funny that is so hard to find something that says click this button to then add this info to this area. I just need to keep a running list of items that can be emailed.
I am using Muse because I am not a coder but any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is not just CSS.
CSS is only the style and presentation of it, you have HTML as well and layout of the product and store and the overall templates that wrap them. I can not see any changes to a pre-existing BC template, unfortunatly just replace with static images..

Here are the steps....
1. Create a Custom field in SRM and append it to SC table structures in SRM
2. Add this field to the Custom field config for meta data at Item level in IMG>SRM Server> Cross application basic settings> Extensionsand and field control> Configure field control --> Configure control of fields at item level
3. THen find the respective web dynpro application and component for the shopping cart portal UI screen where you want the field to appear. You can do this by right click on the screen area and then select More Field Help
4. Go to SE 80 and enhance the respective webdynpro view by adding the custom field to the Context of the VIew and then adding it to the layout of the view at respective location. After doing this create a binding between the layout field and the context.....

Default frame in shopping cart

Hi All,
i am working an issue which is in shopping cart screen default frame.
after logon into shopping cart screen, you can see 'EXTENDED DETAILS' button. once you click 'EXTENDED DETAILS' button that will change as 'Simplify button' along with some more fields add into shopping cart screen( say for example custom fields).
my requirement is when ever user log on and clicked shopping cart create button. the shopping cart screen should display 'EXTENDED DETAILS' view which contains the custom fields instead of 'Simplify details' view.
Is there any way to do that,plz help me out.

Which SRM Version are you using ?
As soon as you add customer fields (Refer SAP OSS Notes 672960 and 485891) to the Shopping cart (say at Item Level ) these fields are displayed in the the Basic data section (Item level) as well as the Search Criteria (in Extended search) functionality automatically.
As per your business requirement, when ever user log on and clicked shopping cart create button, then the shopping cart screen should display 'EXTENDED DETAILS' view which contains the custom fields instead of 'Simplify details' view.
This is Standard SAP functionality. These changes are not possible until we do modification to the HTML Templates in the Internet Service (BBPSC01) using SE80 Transaction.
I have not tried the same, but i don't think it possible (or might be - not sure), as there is a maximum limit of displaying fields in the Shopping cart Basic Data / Search functionality section.
You must have noticed as soon as the number of fields displayed on the Shopping cart exceeds (say more than 10 fields - including Standard and custom fields), there is automatically a button feature ">>" / "<<" gets enabled to either go forward to the next page or come back from to the previous page for display of fields. Therefore, as per my view, you can change the text lable of the 'EXTENDED DETAILS' button / 'Simplify details' button, but this might not help. Moreover, this might cause side-affects to the existing Shopping cart functionality. So be very sure, before making changes to the respective HTML Templates involved in this case.
Incase this does not help / need more details, please raise a Customer OSS message with SAP to get precise details before making Template changes.

Default Settings in Shopping Cart

Dear Experts,
We are on SRM 7.0 SP05.
"Default Settings" functionality is not coming up at the time of creating the shopping cart (Status: In Process).
However, it is showing when the shopping cart is in "Awaiting Approval" status. I'll edit the shopping cart and change the default settings.
Could be an authorization problem ??

FM for approver list BEFORE shopping cart is ordered? DOC_CHECK_BADI

Is there a function module that can be called from DOC_CHECK_BADI to return the approver list as it shows in the approval preview? This will be before any workflow is created, since the shopping cart has not been ordered yet.

Definitly not an easy thing to do.
You have to consider at least 3 cases:
- No workflow instance nor buffered (SC creation, approval preview not called)
- Buffered workflow (approval preview has been called)
- Wf instance exist (Hold or ordered Shopping cart).
In all cases the function BBP_PDH_WFL_APPROVAL_SIMULATE will give you the correct information if you call it with the correct parameters.
I think you already check the form simulate_approval_pbo of fg bbp_pdh_wfl. You should try to reproduce this logic and need to retrieve first some global variable from this program (gv_buffer_wfdkey, gv_check_status, etc.) with memory import/export of dynamic call (if possible).

Capturing Tax code from info record into shopping cart

We have a requirement where in we need to capture the tax code from the info record into the shopping cart in SRM .
If anyone has worked on a similar requirement , could you kindly share the details related to the solution.

In case you are creating a PR with the Fixed vendor from SRM, then in standard SAP in a PR if you enter fixed vendor in R3, then you need to enter a inforecord or other source of supply. In case if the below message is error(E) in your R3 system, please change it to warning ( W).
Else your Shopping Cart will fail while creating PR and will throw below error:
"In the case of a fixed vendor, please enter info record"

New behaviour of delivery address in a shopping cart for SRM7.01

Dear experts,
I may have a wrong understanding in concept of delivery address in latest srm release SRM7.01 (SRM version7 enhancement package 1)?
In previous versions, employees use to inherit the delivery addresses from the organization hierarchy.i.e. they use to inherit the delivery address from the company to which they are assigned.
However, from SRM7.01 onwards, delivery address can be created at the business partner level i.e. individual employee level and one can assign these addresses as ship-to address for shopping cart.
Am I correct in understanding the system behaviour here? Please, share your inputs.

So, if I understand correctly, an employee can select the ship-to or delivery addresses other than the one inherited from the company to which the employee was assigned.
Secondly, the value help for delivery addresses shows delivery addressess assigned to other companies as well. In such cases, the shopping cart creator can pick up delivery address not assigned to his own company but other company. Will the system allow such behaviour. As SAP SRM supports cross company purchasing, can we take it as a part of cross company purchasing behaviour?

Default timeframe for Shopping cart Order status

HI,
We have requirement to set default time frame 30 days for the "Order status" in SRM 7.0
We used query id SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_0, but the these changes not replicating in POWL transaction.
can some one help e on this, how to defult timeframe.

I checked out TC POWL_QUERY in our Dev box and it appears to do the trick. However, in order to update the Order Status screen with the new criteria, I need to run program POWL_D01 which will update all user ID's. I would only like to update users without anything in the timeframe field. Any idea if that is possible? If not, we would need to communicate to our end users first before making the change in case they had different criteria in the timeframe field.
