New functionally in Approval Screen for manager in SRM 7 ,
Hello expert,
We want to upgrade from SRM 5 to SRM7 ,
But our customer still has doubts and he ask for answer in some aspect ?
We need to know if the approval screen will get more functional ,
Can the manager can process filter that show only one document,
Like only SC or only POu2019S???
Can he filter under dates ??? meaning, system present only document that created in range date on the filter ????

SRM70 use Portal UWL inbox which has more functionality.

Filter and Sort function are very usefull.
For BO like SC like PO, user can use text filter for subject.
For date, user can use date range like last 7 days, last 30 days
Each user can personalize their inbox view and keep several views and switch the view.

A list of some bugs I encountered:
* BUG (cosmetic): If the mouse is outside the stage when a cursor changes for the first time (say you toggle a checkbox which sets the cursor using the keyboard), the cursor will appear on the stage in the last known mouse position. When the mouse returns to the stage, everything will start working correctly again.
* BUG (cosmetic): In AIR, if you drag out, and back into the window, then release, a MOUSE_OUT is fired again over the stage, which is wrong. The mouse coords given are (-1,-1), also wrong. This causes the system cursor to show instead of the custom cursor.
* BUG: In AIR: if you drag off the edge of a Window with a custom cursor, the cursor will vanish. The MOUSE_OUT event correctly event fires while dragging off the window. Even though the handler tells the system mouse cursor to appear, it doesn't -- might be an AIR issue, since the mouse is still dragging when told to show. If you move back over the active window without dragging, the cursor goes back to normal.
* BUG: In AIR: if you drag over another window with a cursor, MOUSE_MOVE events don't fire on that other window until you let go. Therefore, a custom cursor in that window does not get drawn, nor does a system cursor. If you move back over the active window without dragging, the cursor goes back to normal.
* BUG: In AIR: When dragging, off a window, Event.MOUSE_LEAVE only fires after the mouse is let go (unlike MOUSE_OUT), EVEN IF the mouse is dragged back over the window and released over the window. So you're told the mouse left when it didn't.
* BUG: In Player: I could never get Event.MOUSE_LEAVE to fire when added to the stage in saplayer or browser.

GRC AC V10 - one approval step for manager and role owner
Hello Community,
I have one, perhaps easy, question. Where is it possible to maintain the solution of one approval step for manager and roleowner, if both are unique.
E.g.:
simple approval workflow: manager stage afterwards roleowner stage afterwards auto-provisioning
So if the request is routed to the manager and the manager is also the roleowner of the requested authorization role (same UserID). The user has to approve one and the same request twice.
Is it possible in V.10 to change the config that the user has only to approve the request once? And then to decide on which relevant stage settings are valid for this process.

We have had a similar questions raised in a project. In an ideal world, a single "Sign-off approval" would be a great functionality where the same user has to approve the same consecutive stages, but the reason for different stages would entail that the responsibilities entailed per stage differ, e.g. Line Manager would just check the over request, and the role owner etc may be reviewing the elegibility of a specifc role etc.
If it is likely to be the same person reviewing the 2 consecutive stages, maybe a single stage workflow would be sufficient to cover this scenario.
I think the logic you are trying to configure in the workflow is possible but will require alot of work with knowing how to create a clever custom workflow with BRF+ or the actual WF stuff in SAP itself. -
N-step approval process for PO in SRM 7
Here are a couple of questions I have regarding N-Step approval configuration for PO in SRM 7 Process Controlled Workflow:
1) It's our business requirement that the last-change person of the PO is defined as the first approver in the chain. I tested with RR_EMPLOYEE and a hard-coded user BP number (my own), but got error "Strategy RR_EMPLOYEE did not determine any approver". Changing to any other user's BP number worked. So I am guessing the buyer himself can not be an approver. Since this is a business requirement, we wouldn't mind developing enhancement to work around this restriction. If you could point me to the place where this is checked, that would help me.
2) I have set up the process level configuration as such:
100 ZEV_PO_SL_APPR_001 PO approval level 1 RR_EMPLOYEE Specify Employee for Approval
200 ZEV_PO_SL_APPR_002 PO approval level 2 RR_MANAGER Get Creator's Line Manager for Approval

The corresponding expressions are simply checking against the PO total value, such as -

0V_PO_POTOTALVALUE >= 25,000
But when I checked the Approver list with a PO with total value > 50,000, only the first level is triggered and listed. And once approved, the PO went into "Ordered" status. But it should have gone through 3 levels of approval. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could point out what might have been wrongly defined in my configuration.

SAP recently released the consultant OSS note to handle this issue.. when the release the SRM 7.0 , SC requestor or PO creator ( Buyer ) cant be in the approval list.. later on they release a OSS note to handle this issue.. 1551561\

once you implement the OSS note Q1, you can build the custom RR resolver to handle this issue with in one process level.. but you have to implement the process level BADI as well.. please refer /SAPSRM/BD_WF_PROCESS_PO badi for more details

I have one issue with standard program ,tcode is /BEA/IPMI01.
SUB: Adding few new fields like IP to selection screen AND few fields to output list.
As this is a standard program (tcode: /bea/ipmi01) , i searched for BADI,EXITS but couldn't .
Can any one help me how to handle this with out cloning the standard one.

After the Type-pool you can use Parameters or Select-options to create the selection screen field..
If it is a Modulpool program then you can create a selection scren field like

Family sharing approval screen for iCloud storage is blank
I have family sharing set up with my spouse and kids, and both me and my spouse are set as approvers. We all have iOS 8.0.1.
My daughter needs to purchase an iCloud storage plan. She's able to pick the plan, enter her iTunes account's password, and gets the pop-up saying that her parents will be asked.
We then get the notification pop-up on both parents' devices (iPhone 4s and iPad 4). But on our devices, when we click on the notification, a dialog box comes up that takes up most of the screen but is empty. The only thing is a Cancel link in the upper left. So we can't approve or reject anything.
Any ideas?(In my original post, a correction, all devices were 8.0)
I Upgraded all devices to 8.0.2. Then initiated a purchase of music in iTunes on my daughter's phone. The approval worked, although I had to enter the iTunes password several times on both ends, which was annoying. I was then able to do a storage upgrade purchase.
So, I'm not sure what actually fixed it. I think it may have been complicated by the fact that, I originally had my credit card associated (also) on my daughters Apple id account, and removed it (since family sharing made it unnecessary). -

But I had no effect on iPhoto. How come? Alle the other apps like iTunes have the full-screen option - but not iPhoto.
You'll need to upgrade to iPhoto 11.

Approval text not transferring to PO approval text for ECS in SRM 5.0

Do you know why Approvals texts are not transferring to pO approval text in SRM 5.0? Is this an standard functionality. Has anyone tried to solve this problem? can you please share?

Do you mean to say that approval text from Shopping cart is not transferring to P.O ?
If this is what you meant then checkout this OSS note :

Custom Approval Screen required for workflow to be executed via CRM Web UI
My requirement is to create a custom approval screen for workflow. I am Not aware as to how to create a custom approval screen for workflow that could view via CRM Web UI and Execute the workitem as well.
Experts please help me with the creation of a task with custom approval screen.Hi Surjith, thanks for your answer but is not the right one.
This is an standard method and is working fine, I think the problems must be in some setup I have to do but I'm missing.

Mac mini and new iPad as a screen?
Can I use my new iPad as a screen for a new Mac mini? I intend to get a keyboard and mouse but don't need a new screen as I will be using the Mac as a music server?
Thanks for your help again with my noob questions! Just switching to Mac from pc for my digital music. Wonder if I could use my pc monitor to hook up to the Mac mini, it's got the usual pc multi pin connector so will need to convert this to USB if possible?

Then click search
You find Release availiable and delta functionality
On Page 4 you find Work center for purchasing documents
