NEW RCA TABLET WONT SYNC

JUST GOT A NEW RCA ANDROID TABLET FOR CHRISTMAS.
I INSTALLED THE FIREFOX APP AND TRIED TO LOG ON IN ORDER TO SYNC IT AND IT KEEPS SAYING EITHER WRONG PASSWORD OR USER EMAIL. I HAVE CHECKED ON MY LAPTOP AND I'M PUTTING IN THE CORRECT INFO, BUT IT KEEPS SHOWING UP WRONG. WHAT IS MY NEXT STEP PLEASE?

Sorry but I'm confused......Why should I have to go through all of that on a new device, with the newest app that has been downloaded and is now available? Also, I'm using FF 34.0.5 on both my laptop and also my new android tablet.
When I try to sync my tablet, I go to the FF app, click on the "sync" and it prompts me to log in using my email address and password as you said it should. However, the problem is that its not accepting my user name and password, its saying its wrong but its NOT. That is where my problem lies.

Re-installed osx now iPhone see's iTunes as a "new" computer and wont sync

Help please:)
I had a critical hard drive failure and had not backed up my data.
After a clean install of osx on the same computer with the same hardware, I updated itunes to the latest version. (all fine so far).
before the new install I had sync'd my iPhone and sync'd the iTunes account, music, videos etc to my iPhone.
Now when I try and sync the iPhone I get a message telling me that I can either "cancel" or wipe the iphone and sync from scratch because the "library" is on a new computer !
arrgghh... it's the same box same everything. I even used the same name to re-install osx on my iMac but the iphone and itunes still see's the itunes library as a different computer and wont let me sync without wiping the iphone of all it's data which I cant do. It's all I have left out of about $800 dollars worth of purchased music and stuff. Everything else was lost when I had to wipe the hard drive clean on the iMac!
Any help please !!
I just want to be able to sync my iPhone with iTunes so I can a) get some of my music & stuff back and b) update my apple account details and c) start sync'ing my iPhone again without worrying about wiping it out !

It's the same computer but not the same iTunes library, as you've said in your post the original library was erased. Your iPhone was linked to your previous library, it's not linked to the computer. I presume that all your songs etc. were also erased since you haven't mentioned a back-up anywhere.
If you only want to copy your purchases to the computer that can be done using iTunes, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer

i bought a new i pad and have the new i tunes. I already have 2 phones authorised to the computer but when i connect my ipad it wont sync at all, its like the computer doesnt even know it is connected. please help

Shouldn't take that long. Do you have any anti-virus software installed? You may have to start over.

New ipod touch wont sync and a frozen screen what do i do have restored it but nothing

I have a new ipod touch just put it on the computer for the first time and it wont sync and has a frozen screen.
i have restored it and that did not work.

Unplug your iPod from your computer and hold down the home and power buttons until the screen turns off. Then hold them again until the Apple logo shows. Eventually, your iPod should work again.

mine will appear to sync then after its complete the display bar showing memory usage immediately retracts to how it was before syncing. i have recently got new laptop and installed a new itunes. my ipod was synced with another library a couple of years ago and i want to remove all the songs from the ipod and sync with my new library. New Purchased Songs Wont Sync to Ipod

I got a new computer and still had my old ipod so to keep the songs I have from getting erased I authorized my computer for my old ipod and everything was fine. All my purchased songs from my ipod synced onto my library great except for the songs I had loaded from CDs because those only show up on my ipod, but I didn't care so much. Well NOW I purchased 10 new songs from itunes store and they show up and play just fine in my library, but I can't get them to sync onto my ipod ! HELP PLZ !

I forgot to add whenever I ask it to sync it pops up asking me to: erase & sync or transfer purchase songs like I did before so I always transfer purchased songs but it doesn't do anything and im afraid if i select erase and sync it will erase everything...i dont know what to do !

Hi All and Happy New Year!
I purchased a new iphone 4s just before Christmas, and have yet to get it to sync completely with my itunes. I downloaded the newest itunes to my PC, plugged in my new phone and itunes stops responding. Typically i get to step 5, where the phone is syncing my apps. Mainly I'd like to sync my itunes music to my phone. I am using the icloud to backup my contacts and calendar.
I have removed itunes, and reinstalled, but still no luck.
Any thoughts?

I jumped onto Parallels ie running pc on my Mac and downloaded iTunes which does the job its a bit clunky but does the job,, any other thoughts? appreciate your help btw

Im locked out of my ipod and i just got a new computur and wont sync?

I lost my ipod (in the couch) for like a year. My stepmother found the one i lost and locked me out, im not really sure what the password is anymore, i cant try because it doesnt work. And i got a new laptop recently and moved all my music and my accounted and got ride of the old laptop and right now, when i try and unlock my ipod on itunes it would let me and it says the same things, "Itunes can not connect to the ipod ' Abbie' because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter the passcode on the ipod before you use connect to itunes." and then a try again button and then cancel button... when i click the try again it just pops up again! Im not sure that to do.

Place the iPod in recovery mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. For recovery mode:

New iTunes buys wont sync from phone to computer - Help please!!

When I have tried to sync up my phone to my laptop I have found that some of the music and films that I have downloaded to my phone don't come through to my laptop. Basically my question is if I restore my phone to the previous backup, will I lose everything that I have bought since that last backup? Or is there some way of getting them back from the store if I've already paid for them?
Sorry for being dense but I've had an Iphone for over 3 years now and this is my 1st problem so I've never needed to investigate further! - I'm one of the lucky ones ;0)

If you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab, Sync Movies selected under the Movies tab, sync TV Shows under the TV Shows tab (you aren't manually managing music and video with your iPhone), and you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, after downloading a song, a movie, a tv show, and a 3rd party app direct with your iPhone, the song, movie, tv show, and 3rd party app will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so.
No iTunes content on your iPhone is included with your iPhone's backup. All iTunes content on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. If you are manually managing music and video with your iPhone, then is a manual process in both directions. You must manually transfer music and movies/tv shows from your iPhone to your iTunes library. This will not be done automatically by iTunes for music and videos when manually managing music and videos - manual means manual all the way in this regard.

New Computer, iphones wont sync

I have rebuilt my computer, and the 2 iPhones i had (had them configured for manually manage music) aren't manually managable.
When trying to tick the box "Manually manage music" it asks to wipe all music from the phone.
Is there a way to manually manage music without wiping all music off?

You should be able to:
Backup the devices to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the devices from the backup
This process should switch the association of the devices to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the devices before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!
