New Site First Steps

Question

While I realize everyone works differently, I was wondering
if there are specific steps experienced developers use when
developing a site/page. My question centers primaily on entering
content first and then styling with CSS or setting up the styles
and then applying them to the content. In my specific case, I know
95% of the content I will be using and I also have thought through
the styles I want, particularly things such as font, font color,
hx, etc. I know there will be adjustments to the styles as I work
but would like to know how others approach this question.

I think about how to construct the site first and spend a
good deal of
time trying to work out what is going to happen to the design
should 'x'
happen or 'y' happen. When I'm satisfied that I have assessed
various
diffrenent approaches/options I'll set about writing the
unstyled main
structure code.
I'll get the main structure up and running, test it
cross-browser then
add more unstyled content and style it. Thats it really. Just
add more
content, style it, tweak it, add more content etc etc, until
its finished.
