Here is the last few lines of the output. I have jre and jdk already installed via pacman.

Aborting...
there is no /var/abs/local/icedtea6/src/icedtea6-1.2/bootstrap/jdk1.6.0/bin/javac, but there is /var/abs/local/icedtea6/src/icedtea6-1.2/bootstrap/jdk1.6.0/bin/java. I'm wondering if there might be a typo in the source...

I had the same problem, gave up, its probably a missing depend or something, anyway you can get a binary package from this repository.

  • Newbie - GIF wont show on line

    Please help.
    I am trying to build a small family website with photos and
    the like (www.thepattos.co.uk). I am using dreamweaver8 to do this.
    So far I have created an index page which is very simple, a
    black background and an animated gif in the centre. The gif will
    eventually be a link to a welcome page. When I preview this page
    (pressing the f12 button) it shows fine and the animated gif works.
    When i view this online all I get is a black page and where the gif
    should be is a blank space with a small white square with a
    redcross.
    I have only worked in design mode but below is the code so
    hopefully someone with experience can point out where I might be
    going wrong..
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0
    Transitional//EN" "
    http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="
    http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
    charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    body {
    background-color: #000000;
    -->
    </style>
    <script src="../Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js"
    type="text/javascript"></script>
    </head>
    <body>
    <a href="intro_page.html"></a><img
    src="../gifs/thepattos.gif" width="500" height="100" hspace="210"
    vspace="210" />
    </body>
    </html>
    The animated gif has been optimised using fireworks.
    Hope you can help.
    Cheers Ally.

    I'm worried about the site definition.

  • I dvd studio pro 4 wont build and format on mabook pro

    My dvd studios pro will not build and format with out crashing. I have a 300.00 dell computer that burns dvds all day long. But my 2700.00 mac book pro, and 1000.00 final cut studio can not make one dvd. what is up with that. I can do everything in dvd studio pro 4 except make a dvd. kind of stupid wouldn't you say. How do i get it to work? i have reinstalled 5 times. all updates are done and still nothing but crashes. took it to apple genius bar and they said "there is no reason under the sun that this should not be working". My computer is has more then enough power to run it. they checked everything and there is nothing installed wrong or not working properly. I asked what to do next and they said "i don't know, I guess your kinda out of luck" that was great of them to say. Does any one out there know what to do? Or has mac falsely sold me a 3700.00 dollar e-mail machine.

    here are the specifics of the crash with dvd studio pro 4
    I am a complete lost, found diffrent apple store i can go to I may have to. may be someone out there can help.

  • Newbie: Wizard wont bind to .asmx service

    Im using the latest free trial of Flex. HBoth service and app are running on a localhost asp server
    I create a new project, drag a dropdown list into the design and select bind data.
    I give the wizard the wsdl file, it offers me the only function "Get_Platforms"
    I select the change reult type, it shows me the dtat structure as expected.
    After completion it has created service code for "Services.service1"
    and a set of value files as "Value objects"
    I run the app and the network monitor shows the data as expected (I later run the test and the data looks good)
    BUT the app runs with no apparent error but no data displays in the drop down
    This is the app code generated:-

  • DAQ Assist wont build

    I am having issues with DAQ Assistant on Labview 2011.   I have the most up to date DAQmX drivers from the website.   Still have the issues after doing a full re-install of everything as well.
    DAQ Assistant will find the channels and show the output in the top graph display area.   When you go to build the VI and click ok it just runs the "building" scanner bar and locks up completely.   It will also give the "Failed to create directory for auto recovery VIs" error message.
    I had to install with ad-min rights, but cannot run under an ad-min account.   Do I need to set some kind of permission for the DAQ Assistant to work?  If so, which/and how do I set those specific rights.   Any other help?  Thanks in advance!

    The solution was found by doing a Google search on "Run application as administrator on Windows 7", one of the found sites provided these various options:  I would stay away from options 7 & 8 unless you know exactly what you are doing..
     from here
    OPTION ONE
    "Run as administrator" using a Keyboard Shortcut
    NOTE: This will allow you to temporarily run a program as an administrator once until you close it.
        1. Press and hold Ctrl+Shift while opening the program.
        2. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an Administrator.
        NOTE: If you are doing this is while logged in as standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to provide the administrator's password before the program will run as administrator.
    OPTION TWO
    "Run as administrator" using Context Menu of Program
    NOTE: This will show you how to temporarily run a program as an administrator once until you close it.
        1. Right click on the program's shortcut or an .EXE file, BAT file, CMD file, or MSI file, and click on Run as administrator. (see screenshot below)
            Run as Administrator-context_menu.jpg
        2. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an administrator.
        NOTE: If you are doing this is while logged in as standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to provide the administrator's password before the program will run as administrator.
    OPTION THREE
    "Run as administrator" from Pinned Program on Taskbar
    NOTE: This will show you how to temporarily run a program pinned to the taskbar as an administrator once until you close it.
        1. Right click on the icon of the pinned program on the taskbar to open it's Jump List. (see screenshot below)
        2. In the Jump List, right click on the program's name, and click on Run as administrator. (see screenshot below)
            Run as Administrator-taskbar1.jpg
        3. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an Administrator.
        NOTE: If you are doing this is while logged in as standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to provide the administrator's password before the program will run as administrator.
    OPTION FOUR
    "Run as administrator" from Start Menu Search Box
    NOTE: This will show you how to temporarily run a program as an administrator once until you close it.
        1. Type in the file name (ex: cmd) of the program that you want to run elevated. (see screenshot below)
            Run as Administrator-start_menu.jpg
        2. Do either step 3 or 4 below.
        3. Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to open the program (ex: cmd) elevated, and go to step 5 below.
        OR
        4. Do OPTION TWO as above to right click on the program (ex: cmd) in the search results at the top of the Start Menu, and click on Run as administrator. (see screenshot below step 1)
        5. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an Administrator.
        NOTE: If you are doing this is while logged in as standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to provide the administrator's password before the program will run as administrator.
    OPTION FIVE
    "Run as administrator" using Compatibility Mode
    NOTE: This will show you how to always have the program run as an administrator when you open it.
        1. Right click on the program shortcut or program .exe file, then click on Properties, and on the Compatibility tab. (see screenshots below)
        NOTE: If you are doing this while logged on as a standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to also click on the Change settings for all users button and type in the administrator's password.
            Run as Administrator-compatibility_mode1.jpgRun as Administrator-compatibility_mode2.jpg
        2. To Always Run this Program as an Administrator
            A) Check the Run this program as an administrator box, and click on OK. (see screenshots above)
        3. To Not Always Run this Program as an Administrator
            A) Uncheck the Run this program as an administrator box, and click on OK. (see screenshots below step 1)
        4. Open the program.
        5. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an administrator.
        NOTE: If you are doing this is while logged in as standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to provide the administrator's password before the program will run as administrator.
    OPTION SIX
    "Run as administrator" using Advanced Properties
    NOTE: This will show you how to always have only this specific shortcut of the program run as an administrator when you open it, and not from any other shortcut or .exe of the program.
        1. Right click on a shortcut that you want to run as administrator, and click on Properties.
        2. Click on the Shortcut tab for a program shortcut, then cllick on the Advanced button. (see screenshot below)
            Run as Administrator-advanced_properties1a.jpg
        3. To Always Run this Specific Shortcut as an Administrator
            A) Check the Run as administrator box, and click on OK. (see screenshot below)
                Run as Administrator-advanced_properties2.jpg
        4. To Not Always Run this Specific Shortcut as an Administrator
            A) Uncheck the Run as administrator box, and click on OK. (see screenshot above)
        5. Click on OK. (see screenshot below step 2)
        6. Open the program.
        7. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes to apply permission to allow the program to run with full permission as an Administrator.
        NOTE: If you are doing this is while logged in as standard user instead of an administrator, then you will need to provide the administrator's password before the program will run as administrator.
    OPTION SEVEN
    "Run as administrator" using an Elevated Shortcut
        1. For how, see:
            How to Create a Elevated Program Shortcut without a UAC Prompt
            OR
            How to Create a Elevated Program Shortcut a Standard User is able to Run in Windows 7
    OPTION EIGHT
    "Run as administrator" Manually in Registry Editor
        1. For how, use the RUNASADMIN value with the full path to the program's file in OPTION THREE here: How to Run a Program in Compatibility Mode in Windows 7

  • Newbie wants to build 5 item interacting menu bar

    Hi, Firstly, I'm an absolute beginner with Spry, though
    working thru Adobe's 'Dreamweaver CS 3 Classroom in a book'. I'm
    beginning to grasp the basics [at last!], but I want to build a 5
    item vertical menu bar which interacts with an area or cell located
    to the right by changing both a photograph and corresponding text.
    i.e., menu item 1 'Deserts' selects a desert pic and relevant text.
    When mouse hovers and clicks on the next menu item 2 'Forests', the
    main cell or area changes to a forest pic and new forest text. And
    so on with the other three menu items. I also need the page to load
    with menu item 1 showing by default. Is this possible?
    I've worked thru 'Creating interactive pages' [using
    behaviors], as well as Ch9 'Integrating Ajax with Spry', then
    trying to adapt either methods to my specific requirement...without
    much success!
    This is a tough assignment, but if anyone can help, I'm very
    willing to learn from even a snippet of code that would point me in
    the right direction.
    Thanks for reading this far!
    Cheers,
    'Maengel'

    The situation is slightly better.
    now indicator-applet-session work as expected. tested with empathy and pidgin.
    indicator-applet (the icon with the letter envelope) even that seems to work (tested with /usr/libexec/im-client) but nothing on arch trigger compatible events. as usual applications are patched upstream. standard compiling of available sources, also lacks of initial menu applet found in Ubuntu to launch applications.
    no localization at the moment, only English.
    I added a dbus rule which may represent a security lack. I ask those who have more knowledge of dbus to give advice on.
    suggestions are appreciated

    However I do not think it's worth to be used on arch.

    What are your /tmp permissions?
    Also, is your /tmp on a separate partition?  If so, what is the fstab entry for it?

  • Cannot create release build

    I am struggling to try to create a release build of my project in Flex Builder 3.  There are no error messages...all that happens is that Flex is never able to complete the task.  The only change that I recently made to Flex Builder 3 is installing support for Flash Player 10 debug version.  I have Version 3.0 of Flex Builder (build 3.0.2.214193).  I am a newbie to Flex Builder and a newbie to RIA's.
    Michael

    Hi Shane,
    Can you please try downloading Flash Builder 4.7 64 bit from http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashbuilder4-7/
    Open FlashBuilder.ini file from the installed directory example (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 (64 Bit)/FlashBuilder) and
    if you are on Mac go to /Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7.app/Contents/MacOS and set your -Xmx to 1024 and try packaging. If this doesn't solve increase you -Xmx to 2048.

  • Newbie having difficulty centering images in browser using ActionScript 3.0

    I'm a newbie using flex builder 3. I'm learning
    ActionScript3.0. After running the AS code from the book, my images
    are never in the center of the browser(IE7). After running the
    following code (which is supposed to produce a yellow arrow, in the
    center of the stage, that rotates to the mouse), I get all the
    desired results except the arrow is positioned in the bottom right
    corner of my browser and only part of the arrow is visible. if
    anyone can suggest a solution it would be highly appreciated.
    Please keep in mind that I am a COMPLETE newbie to ActionScript,
    Flex Builder 3, and the Flash environments. Thanks in advance.

    on mouseup or click, if the mouse is down, you can use:
    stage.focus=outputText;
    if the mouse isn't down, you can don't need a listener to trigger the above.

  • I'm currently building my first website with Muse. Some pages have links to PDF files on my computer but they're not opening in preview mode. Is that normal?

    I am a newbie with website building, so be nice!
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply.
    Nothing is happening when I click on to the link. The 'hand' appears as if something is linked there but nothing opens. Yes, I'm previewing the page in Muse itself.

  • [Solved] Help Building Filezilla

    Filezilla worked when I built it a few days ago but I reinstalled chakra because I though I had a problem with the X server (its still there and it seems the notification system is the culprit). I just tried to build it now from the AUR and it wont build because it complains that libgnutls 2.8.3 or higher isnt installed. I downloaded the source of 2.8.5 and built it without a problem.
    I tried to build filezilla again and it still complains of the same problem, specifically that it cant find libgnutls-config. I tried to find it but it seems that I dont have the file on my system. Why did it work perfectly a few days ago but now its broken?

    Disconnecting an iPod from a computer suddenly would be no different than losing the power.
    You just need to do it again when the power is restored.
    The "Do Not Disconnect" message is just a warning. It suggests that, by interrupting, you may lose data.
    Put your iPod in your pocket (and the needed cables) and ask the firemen to carry down your computer.
    It was properly backed up, wasn't it? And "authorized"?

  • Adobe Flash Builder - using EncryptionKeyGenerator

    Hi there!
    I'm desperately trying to create a simple app that would generate Encryption key using standard adobe.air.crypto package for my SQLite database file.
    Purpose is to enter text password and as a result - get encryption key.
    Here I found complete guide for it:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AIR/1.5/devappsflex/WSAD329515-CBF1-4658-8DD7-CAC9C354CE94.htm l
    I created New Flex project in Flex Builder and posted in new MXML application the code from link above.
    However while building app I experience difficulties:

    Can somebody help me?
    Should I manually connect as3lib to my app? How?
    I am a newbie to Flash Builder.
    Maybe someone could compile this example app so that I could use the result?
    Thank you in advance!

    The crypto libraries work ok on the desktop but don't work in Android because some classes like MD5 for example don't run on the mobile version. I had the same problem running a SWF a webview. It used the MD5 and SHA1 classes that don't work in Flash Lite or even Flash Player 11 for Android.
    You could try posting what you need to encrypt to a server and use the response. I suggest you use a PHP-specific encryption library. If you really really want to use the crypto library. You could publish a SWF file that does the encoding then saves the output to a web server file then have your app read that file but it's slow.
