Next to the mozilla icon in the startmeny is an arrow for a sub menu how do I get rid of this annoying submenu with irrelevant things?
It is so freakin annoying. I will never want this shortcut to do anything but start a new browser.
Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.<br />
Open the DMG file and drag to Firefox program to the application folder on your hard drive.<br />
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but drag it out of the DMG folder instead.

The message icon on my iphone indicates that there is an unopened text message, but when i go into it, it just opens up a blank message, and there is no option to delete it. Many thanksHard restart.. While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button. Hold them down and keep them held down. the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen. keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release. This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process. If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off. Good luck

AOL says it's your browser that is causing this, not AOL and it makes AOL pretty useless to use on Firefox. Much easier to use Windows Explorer. Can you get rid of this "browse or add plug in" bar? How do I get around this? Using Firefox on a Windows Vista operating system.
Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected. -

Try both the Plugins and Extensions categories.
If it doesn't seem related to an add-on, perhaps it's something added by a Wordpress plugin, or your blog theme. If you provide a link to your blog, a volunteer here could take a look and see whether they get the same text. -

I keep getting a pop up box on my iPhone asking me to enter my password - and the apple id does not match mine. I click 'Cancel' but it keeps reappearing and interfering with other apps. What did I do to get this and what do I do to get rid of it? Is it someone or something phishing for my password? The only app I recently downloaded was PF Chang's and I got that directly from the App Store.

I downloaded the new version of Firefox today and ended up with the error box or message -javascript application - uninstall set. I cannot get rid of it and it appears with every key stroke. It's on everything I use on Firefox.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

My problem was resolved when I disabled the FoxyProxy add-on that I had installed. Someone mentioned this in another forum and it worked for me.

the cursor includes a text box from a previous image or link when the cursor is positioned on the side of the page. it will mainly happen when i hit "back" from the page i was on. i click and it goes away but only to return again on the next launched page. i also keep several tabs open and it will carry over to any one of them i go to. how do i get rid of this?

Your post doesn't mention whether you are getting any errors from your iPod or that it's a case where deleting in the usual ways doesn't work so I'm unsure what your issue is. In normal use, how you delete content from your iPod depends how you have it set to update:
If you are updating automatically then delete the files from the iTunes library and next time you connect they will automatically be deleted from your iPod. Highlight the file and press the delete key on your keyboard, or right click and choose either Clear or Delete, depending on which version of iTunes you are using.
If you are updating manually, connect your iPod and click on the icon when it shows in the iTunes 7 source list click on the chevron (the little triangle) to the left of the iPod icon This will display the various icons for the iPod itself, Music, Movies, TV Shows and Playlists. Click on Music and you'll see the traditional song view. Find the files on your iPod that you want to remove, highlight them and delete directly.
To select multiple items such as all the songs in an album, click on the first track in the list hold down the shift key and click on the last track to highlight the selection. Then press the delete key.

Ever since the last update, I'm having problem accessing my e-mail account. I keep getting an annoying bar at the top of the screen "Firebox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." I have to keep hitting the allow button, sometimes twice. And when I do get into the accounts the bar jumps in and out every time I open a new e-mail, or delete and old one.
How do I get rid of this. I've had this account for years, with a very reputable private e-mail provider. This is nuts.See:
