I have download the trial NI motion assistant to try on it. However, it keep coming out this error when i open "

The NI-Motion driver software is not installed. Please go to ni.com/motion and click the Drivers and Updates link to download the latest version of
NI-Motion.:
Btw, is that possible to convert Labview code into C++ code.

Hi William,
as stated in the error message NI Motion Assistant requires the installation of the NI-Motion driver software. In order to start Motion Assistant you need to install NI-Motion and create a simulated motion device in MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer), that installs with NI-Motion.
If you want to use LabVIEW code in a C++ program, you can compile a DLL from your LabVIEW code and call the functions of this DLL in C++.

Motion detection software for isight?

Is anyone aware of any motion detection software for isight? I know that creative has some for their "orb" though it's not compatible with Mac OS X. Is iSight even capable of the task? Thanks for any input!

I do have the Boinx software but I am guessing that your are looking for a sensor sim and not a recording software...Am I right? If so, I am still looking for the same thing. I want the camera to trigger actions in a software and perhaps snap pictures for an application.
I know this is all possible because its all been done. Can anyone suggest where should I start in order to learn how to program these things?

Motion detection software available?

Hi folks, maybe someone can help me with a lead where to find some motion detection software.
I have an older MacBook with Leopard, iSight camera, and iChat4 in my warehouse. I can start an iChat session from my home machine any time. All works fine. iChat on the MacBook in the warehouse auto-responds exactly as it should.
But here comes the tricky part: I would like to overlay a window on my home machine, i.e. a piece of software, over the iChat window, software thats monitors the iChat window. If it detects motion or audio, it gives some kind of audio alarm on the home machine so I wake up and check the warehouse.
Is there such software?

Embedded Software Evaluation Kit LV8.6 remote web panel

Hi,
I have recently purchased the Embedded Software Evaluation Kit which comes with LV8.6 90 day evaluation of FPGA, RT... and although I have sucessfully worked through the tutorial that with the kit I came across a problem when trying to run a remote web panel such that it showing loading 0% but never proceeded past this point.
After trawling through many discussion forums I came across a post which gave one of the reasons for this to happen as being due to having a newer version of LabVIEW run time engine installed on the PC - only by removing LabVIEW 2011 could I get the web panel to run.
My question is how do I manage multiple version of LabVIEW if I wish (and I do wish) to install more than one version of LabVIEW and still be able to run a remote panel via LV8.6?

Hi Helen,
With development versions of LabVIEW you can deactivate them (using the NI license manager), but since the run-time engines are not licensed you can not deactivate that.
You could try running one of your LabVIEW versions in a virtual machine, thus separating them from each other.
I apologise for the problem that you have encountered, I appreciate that it inconveniences you quite a bit, but I assure you that your R&D team are looking into the issue.

I am trying to connect a printer but when the pc searches for the drivers/software it says there are none for this version of lion? 10.8 I have downloaded drivers for the 10.7 version but still cannot get it to accept any ideas?

I have a xerox phaser printer which I want to connect to my mac book but each time it says there is no software to support the version of lion I have!
I have downloaded the software for the 10.7 but that hasnt helped... any ideas?? thanks

You will have to try the xerox website for the latest drivers for Mac OX system you are using

It may be that your printer is not supported. You do not specify which model you have so unable to help further.

Need help to COMPLETELY uninstall HP drivers & software fm pc running Win 7

I am having difficulty with completely removing and uninstalling the HP drivers and software from my Dell Inspiron 830. I am running Windows 7.
I have attempted a number of times use the uninstall feature under programs and applications in Windows. This seemed to remove the applications from the list, but HP Update dated 7/7/10 2.97mb in size version 5.002.006.003 will not remove. In addition, my system keeps attempting to load SmartWebPrinting at various intervals.
I have downloaded and ran the uninstall utility (running it the 4 times as indicated) but still have the same problems.
Please let me know what specific steps I may take to completely remove this software from my machine, including the registry entries, startup services, and/or whatever else I need to do to get it OFF MY SYSTEM!!! Thank you.

Revo uninstaller will remove everything but you have to start with it first. When using Revo if the hp uninstall ask you to reboot Don't. If you did not start to remove with Revo, reinstall the hp program and then start over with Revo uninstaller.
This will clean it out program by program.

Slow motion camera software for iSight?

Hi there!
I was wondering if there is any software out there that would allow me to record things using my isight camera in slow motion? 100 frames per second would be nice but more would be awesome! This would be really handy as I'm an animator and I'd like to analyze my movements better. If this is not possible, does anyone know of the cheapest digital cameras or camcorders that have features like this?

I'm pretty sure the internal iSight cameras can't physically do any more that 30fps, and even that's only in ideal conditions. Any cameras I've seen that can do true high speed/slowmo recording are in the $1000+ bracket, but I haven't looked in a while.

Error when installing drivers & software for Photosmart C410a

Hi - I have a Photosmart C410a that I am trying to use with a 64-bit Windows 7 SP1 laptop, with an Intel i5-2520M CPU. The printer was working with this laptop a while ago (back in March), but I applied a Windows update sometime in March, and since then the printer has not worked. I've tried several times over the past few months, but have had the same result everytime. Today I've been working on this for 11 hours (no, I'm not kidding...)
I've tried downloading the latest full software suite and basic drivers (separately) from the HP website, and I tried using the CD that came with the printer. I tried the Windows 7 wizard and diagnostic utilities available on the HP website. I've tried setting it up with a USB cable and wirelessly. I've used the ccc uninstaller to get a clean start, and have followed the instructions of the troubleshooting guides. But no luck.
I have this printer installed on another Windows 7 64-bit system, using a wireless connection, and it is working fine. However, on the 2nd system I cannot get the software or drivers to install.
The error I get varies a little depending on if I try the USB or wireless installation method, but the consistent parts is "Exit Code = 1603". When trying to install with the USB cable the error is:

It appears if you are unlucky enough to get ths recurrent fatal error(asI I have) and are not a pc tech, you have purchased a door stop. I have purchased hp printers for years but this will be the last. Like the previous consumer, I have wasted countless hours on this correction.... Will never happen again. I will not double the cost of the printer paying consultants who swoop in like vultures to correct the problem.

I am new to SAP and first time on this forum, although I have worked with Financial Applications from other publishers. Where can I download eval SAP software so that I can install on my test server and play with it?

No business application is released for evaluation (love to be proven wrong though). Only Portal, KM, Collaboration on the Java side, and BI/BW on the ABAP side.

Hi all!
Does anyone know how to find the drivers fo the SB Surround 5. external sound card?
Since the HW looks quite similiar to the LIVE 24bit external I tried to install the drivers for it but they didnt work.
I can not find the SB Surround 5. card in the auto update section.

The driver suite gives you all the software, plus the newest driver.
Unfortunately, creative still hasnt listened to us and has not given us DDL. There was no real need to waste 60 bucks on this thing, if all it does is increase sound quality a tiny amount. When I saw the device I, along with many other customers, came to believe that it would allow for surround sound music. However, the device only outputs media that is already in surround sound, as 5. . I have tried AC3 filter, kx driver (wont work) , rednoreck (no asio) , and tons of random plugins for winamp. I have no idea how to get stereo upmixed to 5. with the spdif out on this card. I am going nuts because of this. If anyone knows how to do that please let me know !?

HP Support Assistant does not inform about ANY updates for drivers/softwares

Hello everyone, HP Support Assistant is not showing ANY sort of updates/messages for latest drivers and softwares although there are updated drivers available for my notebook at the Driver Software Support section from where you can manually download and install them. I'll be updating all my drivers one by one in the morning but ever since I've bought my laptop I've wondered why HPSA has not came to any benefit of mine yet. Is this a known problem? Help is highly respected!Regards.

Okay so its starting to give updates, so far I've had 3 updates for HP System Event Utility, Simeplepass and HP Wireless Button Driver. I guess it works very specifically and on it's own. No luck on other drivers.

Problems with Roxio Toast Motion Pictures Software

I am trying to make a quicktime movie using the Roxio Toast Software "Motion Pictures" and Quicktime 7. This has worked fine for my up until today and now the error message that I am getting reads "QuickTime failure (-8970, LQMovieExport.m, line 252)'.". Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

It may be an issue with VBR (Variable Bit Rate) in the .mp3 files. Try this:
Open the .mp3 using QT Pro and then open a few of your image files (also QT Pro).
Select all (Command-A) then Command-C (copy) on one of the image files.
Switch to the sound file, select a portion of the file (letters i and o keys set in and points) and choose "Add to Selection & Scale". This will add your image file to the .mp3. Repeat to add the other images and then try to save the file.
Use Save As and name the file. Save to your Desktop and test the file.
Another issue is the true format of what you're calling an .mp3 file. Is it a song you've purchased from the iTMS? They are .m4p and are "protected". You can't export or share these purchased songs.

Extreme Gamer Drivers/software

Hi everyone again,
Well i reformmated again and i forgot to write down the link i had to the cd ISO for my xfi xtreme gamer soundcard...
i can download the sound drivers from Creative but i dont get the software with it, such as equalizer entertainment mode and all of the fun stuff this card can do.
If anyone has time could i get a link to a site that will allow me to download the ISO and once again use this card to its full abilities.. thank you!
