No app store on ipod

hi, i have no app store on my iPod touch, its 1.1.5. version. I downloaded 3 free apps to itunes, but when i connect my ipod to pc, itunes run, then i can put music, videos, pics to ipod, but "Applications" are not there, and app store is not in ipod.. so please, how can i a put apps to my ipod ? thanks

You'll have to upgrade your firmware at least to 2.0 to be able to use apps.

When I go into app store on iPod touch and click on an app i get can't connect to iTunes

I noticed it on jan 1 but was working fine on dec28 when I bought it. All I have done is download apps I had previously purchased on my old 3G iPod 32gb touch To my 5g 32gb iPod touch using purchases on the update part of app store. Mine had a SIM in it. Originally, when I took out the SIM and tried to restore it with nothing in it, it wouldn't work without a SIM card. So ... I took the SIM that was in that phone previously, put it back in and completed the system restore. I then proceeded to go through the process with AT&T of adding a data plan, which I did, and then it successfully completed the system restore. However, now if I run diagnostics on it, it will not verify ITunes Store. If I try to connect to ITunes store, I'll get the network connection timed out error I referenced earlier in this thread. I'm considering jailbreaking it and putting on an earlier software version. Your thoughts?

TS1702 app store on ipod will not update apps, says it cannot connect to itunes store

This is on an ipod 4. I have hard booted it, I have checked wi-fi connections, I have download and unloaded new apps, I have checked my apple id and pw, I have synced with the desktop and did updates but that didn't allow them to update on my ipod. HELP and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

FYI I found the resolution to this thru another thread,,,,,,, so for others that are having this issue, go into your settings and reset the clock to a few months out. this allowed my app store to start the updates.

At iPod Touch 2.0, I tried to search for eBay in App Store. Turns out there only a Paypal. My friend's iPhone 3G's got eBay, wonder why isn't iPod Touch. Means a lot to me a eBay powerseller.

Solved! Blame Apple Canada! Logon your App Store using a account that's registered with an American address. and iPod Touch will automatically go to the US App store (there's eBay Mobile) instead of the Canadian one(which doesn't provide eBay Mobile).

App Store crashing iPod Touch 4 after iOS 6?

I updated my ipod to iOS 6 and when I tried to go to app store it crashed. I tried again and the same. I turned the iPod off and tried again and it doesn't work. All other apps are always closed and it still doesn't work. I just bought that iPod about a month ago. What should I do?
I'm very disappointed with these updates. I think that you expect to find good things when you do updates not everything worse. I didn't like anything of this update at all.

The App store crashing is a problem for many users after iOS update.
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

My friend has got a second hand ipodtouch, and there is nothing on it. I have manged to get photos and music, but the app store that you get on the Ipod is not there. how do i put it on? any ideas?

Seems to be an issue with the App Store today as many are reporting issues with the App Store. Just hold on while they get it fixed. Its probably not your iPod.

Im on my iPodt Touch 16gb and when on the App Store trying to download a game it says sign in so I click "Use Existing Account" and then it says "iTunes Password" and I don't know what to put in.
I've tryed my email and my actual iTunes password but no luck can anyone help

   1. go to app store
   2.try to download a app any app
   3.after that click on create account
   4. if you have a itune account then dont create account
   5.create e mail adress and password
   6.after that you could download any app on ipod with the e mail adress and password you created for itunes account

I cannot connect to app store on ipod touch

How do I reconnect to the app store using my ipod touch? When I try to go to the itunes store I get the error message:
"this certificate for your server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be itunes.apple...."
I have a good wifi connection. I have been connected before
using this 5th generation ipod.

Make sure that in Settings>General>Date and Time it is correct and Time Zone is correct

TS1424 Is anyone else unable to search the App Store from iPod Touch 4G since the software update?

Every time I go to the App Store since the update yesterday, it crashes after a few moments and drops me back at the home screen. Any advice?

Today I see lots of other people are having similar issues, but I'm not seeing any replies. I contacted apple, and the rep said to look here of call tech support. This sounds to me like a real problem that is addressing many users and needs to be officially addressed.

Plus sign on left of apps in app store for ipod touch, What does it mean ?

On the app store , when I look at a list of apps some paid apps have a plus sign on the left side of the price and some of the paid apps don't have a plus sign on the left of the price, So what does the plus symbol mean ?. And also what does it mean on free apps when the plus sign is on the left on some of them but not others ?

It means the app is Universal, that is, it will work on both, the iPhone and the iPad.

If you're on Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later, the App Store should still be visible when you click on the  Apple in the menubar, following About This Mac and Software Update, even if you removed the App Store icon from the Dock at the bottom.

Tabs missing on app store using iPod touch 2G

When I go onto app store and tap on a game or application.
It enters the game page, which displays info on game and buy .etc
But where there used to be a little tab you tapped on to go back to search or top 25 this no longer appears.
Looks like apple has been tinkering with app store again.

Same here since second to last change at Appstore
about 6-8 months ago. There's no back button on the INFO
page in any category or heading at the Appstore.
I sent a screenshot with the same blank top gray bar.
So in essence Apple does not support this iOS at the
AppStore anymore. AND alot of developers are not using
the iOS SDK that allows support for iOS 3. Not sure
what the reason for this ignorance on part of Apple and
developers? C'MON!!! it's been ages. Fix it.
