No effect of setting Expiry in the RequesterManagerWorkflow

Hi All,
I needed to set the request expiry time for the request that would be raised through a user. I use the RequesterManagerWorkflow and have changed it myself. I simply opened it in JDeveloper after unzipping. Edited the approval.task task and in that I went to the Deadlines tab and assigned the expiry to Expire After and time as 0 days 0hrs 5 mins so that it would get invalidated in 5 minutes. Now I saved this. Then went to notifications and created two new entries to notify on EXPIRY one to the assignee to whom the request must be assigned (requester's manager) and the other to the user. Now i saved the workspace. Now i deleted the old one from composites folder and pasted it back there after zipping it. But though it gets loaded successfully, it doesnt get invalidated after 5 minutes. Can someone please help me out in this?

I did it correctly as per the document. Coz I have not applied any settings in the participant type level and even on that window when I click on Advanced, I see a text below the Limit Allocated Duration To field telling me that Global Settings of 0days 0hrs and 5mins are currently active. So that means the settings are correct. Now when I raise the request and login using the manager, I see the request in his Tasks tab. However even after 15mins its still there. :( Is there any scheduled job that invalidates request which needs to be run maybe? Since in OIM even auto unlock works that way so I had this doubt.

You can activate Time-Dependent Publishing Service on your XML form and once the Lifetime of Documents is over then the document is not visible to users.

It is only invisible but not deleted!
So to delete all expired XML Forms you should run Scheduler Tasks for Time-Dependent Publishing:

How to set password in the form, request is coming from SPML with no pwd

Im using SPML request to create and modify users? I have 2 problems
1) Does anyone know, how to customize the form to call 2 different workflow depending on the request meaning, if SPML request is ADD, then it should call Create User workflow, and SPML request is MOD then it should call Update User workflow.
Right now, i don't know who to do it and currently it is working for create users only.
2) Im not getting password field from SPML request, so i have to set password with value 'password' in the form. Can i do that and How?

According to your post, I know you want to add a custom field to Task form. When vale is Yes, send the email to the assigned person. When the value is No, item update and user can approve the task without the email sending out.
Doubt you have already create an approval workflow which associated with Task list in SharePoint Designer.
1. To add new fields to Task Form, click New button in Task Form Fields section. Name the “Send the email or not” of choose type. See the below image:

I wrote a shell script to delete the reports which r one month old. the reports generated by the boe r placed in unix machine(in a specific folder for example abc) and my boe server is also on unix .I imported the the shell script into boe.I assigned the path /xx/yy/abc (the path where our reports r stored) to the arguments and i gave the working directory path as the xx/yy/bobj/bobje/data/frsinput/a0_89/ ( this is the path where my shell script is present).after giving these details i am unable to delete any of the content from that folder. I am getting the failed message when i am trying to execute the object in cmc. i am pasting the shell script as well as the error message here if any body knows anything help me. do i need to set anything in cmc or what i need to do

Registry Key / Setting to decrease the work folders client polling interval from 10 minutes

Hi,
We would like to be able to decrease the interval that the Work Folders client checks for SMB updates on the our Work Folders server. We have reduced the time limit on the server successfully via powershell, but the client can still take around 10 minutes
before it check with the server for updates. We have found a reg key:

After apply the registry setting, have you tried to restart the client to make sure that it can take effect? After reboot, check the sync status to see whether it take effects.

Audition 3 seeing a different sample rate setting than what the device shows

Hi,
I have just installed Adobe Audition 3, along with the 3.01 patch, on a brand new system running Windows 7 64 bit. The mother board is an Asus Sabertooth X58 using Realtek High Definition Audio. The device drivers show that the audio sampling rate for line input is set to 24 bit 192K. I wanted to set it to the maximum that the sound card would allow to test performance and audio quality.
The problem is when I bring up Audition 3 and hit record, I get the message "We do not support recording when your file does not match your hardware sample rate. Your current hardware sample rate is 44100Hz". Clearly this is not the case since the Line In Properties - Advanced tab is displaying "2 channel, 24 bit, 192000 Hz (Studio Quality).
Under Audition's Audio Hardware Setup it shows only one choice for Audio Driver: Audition 3.0 Windows Sound. It also displays Sample Rate: 44100Hz, Clock Source: Internal, Buffer Size: 2048 samples with no way to change these values.
If I click on the Control Panel button I get:

Anyone know of how I can change these settings to get Audition to agree with the device settings?

I'm afraid that life is nowhere near that simple. The main issue here is that Audition, in common with most audio software, uses a driver system called ASIO to talk to the sound device - this cuts out a lot of the OS and reduces the latency of the system considerably. There are several problems with ASIO though - the first being that it only supports a single device per system (or sometimes multiple identical devices if the manufacturer can make them look like a single device), and with software designed to use this driver, then to use any other driver (like a native Windows one) you have to use a converter stage like ASIO4ALL. This will convert the ASIO streams to WDM, and let you use multiple sound devices - but with increased latency.
It's the second problem that's really going to stuff you though - and that is that quite reasonably, ASIO is limited by its inventors to run only at three sample rates; 44.1k, 48k and 96k. So there's no way you can run at what you think might be a higher quality setting. All settings above even 48k are making your sound device work much harder, and for what? All that happens is that you increase the potential frequency response to way beyond the human hearing range - to no purpose at all. You don't have sources that can produce useful output at these frequencies, and you certainly don't have the means to reproduce them. This has all been well documented and explained before, so I'm not going over all that again. In a nutshell, Nyquist points out that any digital sampling device has a frequency response limited to a maximum of half of the sample rate, so for 48k that gives us a frequency response up to 24kHz - comfortably higher than any adult can hear by quite a long way. Anything you sample and record beyond this by using even 96k is nothing but noise as far as humans are concerned, and unpercievable noise at that.
So what the line input properties tab is saying is, if you have a non-ASIO driver designed to support all potential rates, possible. You don't have an ASIO driver available, because it's a built-in sound device, and anyway you've already pointed out that it's using the Audition Windows driver (a cut-down version of ASIO4ALL, effectively), so a conversion is already taking place. What Realtek refer to as 'High Definition Audio' is no such thing - all on-board sound devices of this nature are of universally low quality, and to improve this you'd need an external device - of which there are many available, usually with dedicated ASIO drivers. But none of them will work with ASIO beyond 96k, simply because the standard doesn't support any higher rates.
If you download and use ASIO4ALL (it's free), then you will get an additional control panel which will show you exactly what your sound device is capable of doing as far as Audition or any other ASIO software is concerned, and this is a useful diagnostic tool anyway, so it's worth doing. You just select this option when installed, instead of the Audition Windows Driver.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of what seems like bad news, but actually, it isn't. You will percieve no quality difference at all running at anything beyond 48k sample rates; all you will be doing is wasting your computer's resources unnecessarily. You waste both processing resources and hard drive space by processing at ridiculously high sample rates, and there are zero returns.

I know what you say but What is happening here is initially we had only profit center as zero balancing indicator set and seg ment as mandatory field.
Now when ever we have additional clearing line item with zero balancing account (the default one).is not getting the segment.But it is getting the profit center due to inheritance.
So Thats my question how can i get the segment extended to document split line item (additional one with zero balancing account) which has the profit center.
Please input some thing on this.

How to set cursor at the first line in a table control?

I have a customized infotype screen where a table control is being used to input new values.The tab control has 30 lines.Now, the problem is that when the screen is displayed, the cursor always starts at 8th or 4th line.The behaviour is not very consistent.I tried the following statement in the PBO, but no effect.
SET CURSOR FIELD P9417-ZCOUNTRY LINE 1. ( P9417-ZCOUNTRY is the name of the tab control field where i want to set the cursor ).This is the last statement in the PBO.
Can someone please tell me why still I am not able to set the cursor at the first line? I have infact noticed that , in the debugging mode , sometimes the cursor starts at the first line.Please help. Thanks

I have got a new requirement on this now. If the table control does not have any records , then the cursor position should be on the first row.Otherwise, if it already has some records, then the cursor should be at the first empty row.I wrote the code like below.

I am facing a strange problem now.The table control has some 10 rows when you see the screen for the first time.If the number of records already present is less than 10, I am able to position the cursor on the first empty row.But if the number is say 15, then the cursor position goes to eighth or fourth line or sometimes the first line.
Is there any way to display the last few records , ie, if there are 15 records , is there any way to display the last five rows when I see the screen for the first time, rather than showing the first 10 records?How can I position the cursor at the first empty row, when there are more records?

I don't think if it possible in BPC NW, where as in BPC MS version we have Management Console which gives info. about will all users who have been online for the given period of time.
In BPC NW we have User Activity. BPC logs user and administrator behavior by recording information about each remote function call made from .NET to ABAP.

It seems that the standard Infoset doesn’t work by itself with Segmentation Basis. Two SAP notes have been applied and a new Field Group has been added to the Infoset (in order to distint the Segmentation Base).

I am very annoyed at the Creative Cloud set up and the non-stop issues and problems! I am paying monthly for this service and it is constantly failing in some way! So far in three months I have had to uninstall and re-install Photoshop THREE times because it stopped working properly and Illustrator I have had to do that same to TWICE! That isn't including the other apps that have had issues! I don't have the time to constantly be un-installing and re-installing all or some of the Creative Cloud because your developers are not making a product that works consistently for the money you are charging! It is costing me more than just this monthly fee! And I am even less impressed with the fact that I cannot email someone for assistance in resolving these issues. Really Adobe?
