No email access after inifinity upgrade

Hey folks upgraded to infinity today and tried logging into email. Seems I have not access when I enter details in either chrome, i.e. or fox and click sign in it is ignored and no action is taken. If I leave box empty or type an incorrect password I get an error message as expected! I am able to log into my bt with that email address though... BTW I did change my password successfully as when I first entered my details the box warned me that I had entered incorrect pass / email etc.. So to re-iterate the BT sign in box ignores my email address unless there is a deliberate error in spelling etc.. and there is no sign of browser activity so it not waiting for anything.. Thanks

Your @btinternet.com email address might not be activated yet. It can sometimes take 24 hours from the date of broadband going live so may be worth waiting.
There has also been some problems with the sign in page on BT webmail email page

If that still doesn't work you might want to try using an email client such as Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail, which would negate the need to log onto BT webmail

Archived email wiped after deactivating email account after Mail upgrade. Help!

I recently archived very important email - it was email that I would no longer need to use, but the files EVERYTHING was very important for a later date. So I deactivated said email account. I have been experiencing very slow internet access since I upgraded to Maverics OS.
The Wifi connection is unstable. Sometimes it looses connection. I did not have this problem before.
Is this a problem experienced by others? Do you have any steps on how you got this resolved?

Email issues after Yosemite upgrade. Several things are happening, I delete messages only to get a error indicating that I can't delete them or if I do delete them, they reappear sometime later.

I use Apple mail on an IMAC & IMAC Mini. As I move from one to the other these email issues persist on both.
I try to clean out my email by deleting emails. I sometimes get an error message indicating I can't delete the message or when I do delete the message, then sometime later or when I go on the other computer these deleted messages reappear. I am also getting emails from some senders but the actual content belongs to another person.
I had none of these problems prior to upgrading to Yosemite.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

No background or email access after System Tuner tool using Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012

Xperia z1 compact email problems after lollipop upgrade

Hi there,
I have one huge issue with the email accounts I manage on my Z1C after upgrading to Lollipop.
Downloading new messages used to be extremely fast with Kitkat. Now with the new OS, this has turned into a nerve-racking operation.
Sometimes I have to try three, four times before messages are actually downloaded. Besides, while a tone announces the presence of new messages, these are not displayed. I have to open an old message and then go back to the main page, wait for it do reload and eventually I can see the new messages visualised.
The whole opearation may take several minutes. If this happend on a normal browser, I would immediately think of a problem with the cache memory...
I add that the upgrade procedure was smooth and ended successfully. All the other apps work perfectly, the connection to the Internet is fast and efficient, the problem occurs both when I'm connected to a Wi-Fi router and when I use my provider's network (H3G). I use the default application to manage all my email accounts. The email accounts are set as IMAP.
Have you experienced any similar issues? Does anybody have any idea of how to sort out this problem. Thank you all for your help!

I've experienced this problem also. The new version of Email saw all of my Gmail messages as new mail, so it took about an hour for me to deal with the barrage of new notifications. After that was dealt with, Email now works... but it's incredibly S... L... O... W. Message downloads used to be a snap, but now it can take 20 to 30 seconds just to download a half dozen new message headers. When I actually tap a message header to open the mesage, it takes another 10 to 30 for the message text to display.

Emails missing after yosemite upgrade

After upgrading do use a program that required at least Mavericks, I upgraded my macbook pro to Yosemite (Mavericks no longer listed on app store.) Now hundreds of emails that were stored in my inbox are missing. Is there any way to retrieve them, certain steps to take to rebuild the mailboxes, or anyway to search the hard drive outside of mail to find these missing emails.

Email issues after Mavericks upgrade

After upgrading to Mavericks, email in Macmail does not load automatically. Have checked the box for automatic in preferences, but still a no go. Mail will also not load after "sleep" without a manual selection to get mail.
Worked just fine under Mountain Lion.
Did not see any solutions in this forum for my problem.

No internet access after Snow upgrade

Was very upset yesterday after upgrading my 13" Macbook Pro to Snow Leopard only to find out I couldn't get online via ethernet or Airport. Went through all kinds of troubleshooting and just got off a 90 minute long convo with an Apple phone genius. Here was the solution:
Go to Finder
Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
MOVE the SystemConfiguration folder to your Desktop (DO NOT delete it)
RESTART your computer
Launch Safari or Firefox and you should be online
Keep your System Config folder for a while just in case.
Worked for me. I saw a lot of traffic in the forums about this last night and went through many, much more convoluted solutions before this easy one solved the problem.

Archive emails lost after Mavericks upgrade

After uopgrading to mavericks, all the emails I had moved into mailboxes in the Archive have disappeared.
The mailboxes I had created for archiving were all inside "On MY Mac", which is now duplicated about 14 times, and all the mailbox folders inside are also duplicated but they are empty.
The emails are definitely gone: at least a search does not find them
Can anyone help please?

Try hovering over mailbox subcategories and look for "show" to appear next to the name, then click on it.

Lost email folders after Leopard upgrade

I recently upgraded to Leopard and in general things are great, except... there are a couple of mail folders (in Mail) that have disappeared. If I search in Spotlight for messages I know are in those folders, I find the messages. However, if I open a found message from Spotlight and click "Show in Mailbox", Mail comes up with "No Mailbox Selected" in the title bar.
Any ideas on how to recover those folders into Mail?

if you go to homefolder/library/mail/... you should see all the folders and files, and there should be a folder for each email account, in each of these you will find the mailboxes for these email accounts. Can you find the missing mailboxes anywhere?

HT1277 After recently upgrading my desktop I can no longer recieve emails from my IMAP account it continues to come up with password incorrect yet I have not changed it - HELP!

Since it is affecting all your devices also, try going to the e-mail web site and seeing if you can log in there. Who is the e-mail provider?
Try deleting the pass word from Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.
If that doesn't work, try deleting and adding back the e-mail account.

Can't access old ver. 9, 11 & 13 clips after Windows upgrade

In Sept. 2014 I downloaded PE 13 from B&H, worked fine and was able to access old PE9 & PE11 clips. In Dec. 2014 had problems with Wind. 7 Home Ed. and had to upgrade to 8.1 (decided on Pro). Installed 8.1 Pro end of Dec. 2014 and bought PE 13 DVD from B&H to reinstall after I backed up my hard drive. Problem after install of 8/1 Pro and installing PE13 from DVD I can't access and restore old clips from 9, 11 & 13. Tried everything I can think of....any suggestions PLEASE!

With the old computer system, you have Premiere Elements 9, 11, and 13 projects. And, you import media into each and see thumbnails for each of your imports in the project media area of the program (in version 11 and 13, called Project Assets). CORRECT! Please as we go forward I have the PE 13 that was downloaded from B&H and worked perfectly with my previous assets in PE 9 & 11.
When you go to open a project in one of these programs and go to the project media area, do the source media thumbnails still show as before with image in the thumbnail? Or does the thumbnail have a display of circular arrows? If the present as before, can you drag the file from the project media area to the Timeline? If you cannot, it that the problem? NO! (First info is when I set up my new PE 13 after copying all data to a 1T desk drive and loaded Windows 8.1 Pro to replace my Windows 7 Home Edition, I set up the PE 13 and used 64 bit as suggested.) NOW...When I locate my previous Project Assets on the 1T drive they show as "red blocks" with a play arrow in them where previously were thumbnails, but I can't retrieve them. As such there is nothing to add to the timeline. Last night I added to the NEW PE 13 a 22 min program I'm working on. I have all those assets, thumbnails and everything is working as wonderfully as it did in 9, 11 and downloaded 13.

1. When you open Premiere Elements 13 Expert workspace, go to Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime, do you see a list of presets when you explore
the Presets" field there? NO.... I can get to /Computer but there is no QuickTime there! I did download QuickTime yesterday after your suggestion.

Were two separate computers involved or did you manage to change the operating all on one computer? All on one Computer
The major focus for me right now is to make sure I know what file triggers the ".....not have the required compressoer/decompressor (codec)"? And to know that
you are in the Premiere Elements 13 Editor and not the Organizer 13 workspace. Help me understand!!!! I know the difference between "Add Media", "Project Assets", "Organizer", "Editor" and "Workspace". But "Project Assets" and "Workspace" are part of "Editor", so I don't understand your question.

Can't find email attachments after upgrading my ipad to IOS 7.1

I use my ipad onstage for song lyrics and set order. I compose and edit the song lyric sheets in Word on my PC, email the files to myself as attachments, and open them in Word on my ipad. Until this morning, I had no problem doing this. After I upgraded to IOS 7.1 this morning, my emails on my ipad (latest version) all have the attachment paperclip greyed out. Does anyone know what setting to adjust so I can access them again??

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.
