No entry in BP after correct BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA

Hi,
I have a strange problem using the BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA.
I create a new Business Partner with alle the mandatory fields:
- Partnercategory = 1
- Partnergroup = 0001
and also firstname, lastname for testing.
1. I start my BAPI with Visual Composer with these 4 parameters
2. I receive a new incremental PARTNER Number returns from BAPI (e.g. 0000028)
3. I check my BP's in BP transaction of ABAP System (using same client as in run my bapi call), but no new entrys were displayed
4. I check the but000 Table, and also no new entrys
Strange is, when I create a new BP in the Transaction Menu I receive as next BP-number 0000029. That meens the BP is created in the System, but isn't shown in but000.
Does the BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA need some client, role or other additional informations to create an BP? I found no other terms in the specs.

I think you need to call the function BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after calling BAPI_BUPA....

Check iCal preferences, the Accounts Tab. You might have duplicate accounts.

Blackberry Travel 3.1.1.2 - Duplicate entries in Calendar after system restore

I love the Blackberry Travel app, it is an absolute must for me and I auto sync it to my calendar as a default setting. I have the Z10, and Blackberry Travel 3.1.1.2 software.
Every time I install a new OS, and resync my calendar from Outlook using Link, after I reinstall and log back into Blackberry Travel, it will create duplicates of my upcoming trip entries in my calendar.
These are entries that were created by Blackberry Travel previously and were synced with Outlook prior to the system wipe and then restored using an Outlook sync.
It would be great if Outlook would check for calendar conflicts for preexisting entries that are exactly the same before adding a new trip to the calendar.
I also noted that if I have a trip (with a name October Travel) with a departure date of October 6 (for example) and arrival date of October 13, although the return flight is correctly placed in the calendar on the 13th, the entire trip is marked from October 6-12 (missing the last day in the calendar).
Please check on these issues, otherwise super app!

Clear/empty entry of field after validation pattern message

Can anyone help me please with the following:
Now when user fills a field a validation pattern message shows when entry is not according to validation. BUT...the entry remains.
Do you know how to remove the entry from the field after clicking OK on the validation pattern message box?

I don't know how to do that, but I think it would be user abuse to clear out the field. If I mistype a date or an SSN for example, I don't want to have to type it all over again, just correct my mistake.

No entry in MSDP_FCST2 after background run

Hi,
     I ran a forecast job using automodel 56 (for plant P1 and Material MATL1) in the background by creating an activity, job and scheduling.
I see the job completed successfully in SM37 and here is what I see in the spool f the background job

I checked the transaction MSDP_FCST2 soon after the job is completed by the background job name and I see no entries.
The same when I run the forecast interactively gives me results. and the messages say nothing red.
The messages in interactive planning are as below:
Trend test called
Trend: 1.035-, Coefficient of determination: 2.246, Limit: 2.036
Trend test is positive
Automatic linear model selection has chosen linear regression
My questions here:
1. Does the spool mean that the forecast did not run? is that the reason why I am not seeing an entry in transaction MSDP_FCST2?
2. Why can't I see any such messages in interactive planning?

PLease check in /SAPAPO/MC8K transaction the message for the forecast job. A red indicator may indicate that the forecast profile was not generated.
In /SAPAPO/MC8T transaction under control parameters, make sure that "generate profile and assign it" checkbox is ON else strategy 56 will fail to create an entry in MSDP_FCST2
Ideally both background and foreground should give consistent results. However I have found discrepancies in linear seasonal regression particularly when seasonal test fails. we have alerted SAP for this through an OSS message though. hence i would request you to try to change history data just to make sure it is not data specific.

Entering multiple entries in ZTABLE after changing a key field to nokey.

This is Hema Iam new To ABAP.
My senario is I have created a ZTABLE with companycode, GLAccount, costcenter,profitcenter,plant.
AT first my table has companycode and GLaccount has key fields..
But to enter the multiple entries for cocode and GLaccount (ZBUKRS and ZHKONT) i have changed GLaccount has non key fields and table maintainence regenarated for the same.
my issue is as there are repeating entries for cocode and glaccount it is not possible to enter the entries as it is saying the entry is repeated and asking me to skip because cocode is primarykey there...
how can i overcome thsi issue to enter multipel entries for cocode and GLaccount.
As it should be done quickly ur help would be usefull

"an entry already exists with the same key"
wht should be done i maintainance recreated after adding this field nad in se14 i adjusted the table too still what steps should be done ?

Missing entry point kglttr after 8.1.7.0 to 8.1.7.4 upgrade

Hi,
After upgrading from 8.1.7.0 to 8.1.7.4 on Windows 2000 server, when I try to start the Oracle service for a SID, I get an error message that the procedure entry point kglttr cannot be found in orageneric8.dll.
The installation was done using a silent install. The user id had full administration rights. The silentInstall.log file indicated a successful completion of the installation. The server was rebooted after the installation.
Any suggestions? I've got a customer site where I need to do this ASAP, and I can't turn the process over to them until I get this fixed...

Mutually cancelling entry in CJI3 after order settlement to WBS element

Hi,
In our scenario we create Service Orders for work execution & assign WBS element to the service order (to control the spends). When actual costs get booked in the service order, I can see these costs in the Project Actual Cost Line items report (CJI3). When I settle the order costs to the WBS element, there is a mutually cancelling entry in the CJI3 report for that WBS element for the settled amount. Is this the right behaviour?
Can someone pl enlighten how the cost flows from order to WBS element before settlement & after settlement?

That's normal with line item report incase you use settlement 'By cost element' (Allocation structure)
If you use by settlement 'Settlement cost element' you see another line item but again the net balance would be zero.
But in case of hierarchy reports in PS settlement transactions are ignored.
To see actual costs on WBS in the line item report, try to use filters and filter out settlement transaction (field offset type, or settlement cost element)

Program-logic goes not again in EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_010 after corrected message?

I am using EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_010 in ME51N to add customer messages and it is nicely displayed on pop-screen. After the user correct the messages and press SAVE button, it is not going again in EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_010 and all the same messages are displayed. NO REFRESH?!
Can anyone help me?

I have written:
IF im_item_has_errors IS NOT INITIAL.
ex_recheck_item = 'X'.
ENDIF.
so if the item has error it will be rechecked and it comes again in

Accounting entry line item after 561 movement type

Hi,
I have create initial stock uplaod with MB1C with movement type 561, for 4 materials after post of document it is posted properly with proper amount but when I check the accounting entry it shows me in the amount in two diffrent debit and credits even the valuation class of all the 4 material is same.
Debit material account, addition of amount of three materials
credit initial stock account, addition of amount of three materials
debit material account of 4th item
credit initial stock uplaod as per amount of 4th item,
I want to know why in first entry systen added 3 material amount in one and in second entry amount of only 4th item, when I check the entry in table BSEG ,the second entry is posted along with business area 0001 where as for the first entry the business are field in the table is blank even the business area is set the company code and plant level, and only single business area we are using in the system.

As you mentioned you have a separate business area this is the reason for posting the entries separately. This is the same case with profit center also (if different PC's are maintained for different material). Also system will proportionately calculate the other expenses (if any) and post in a separate line items in accounting document.

I'm running an OS X Server running 10.8.2. After enabling the Adaptive Firewall last night ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5519, http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4418 ), I started noticing a massive number of logs in /var/log/system.log that look like this:

Does anyone have thoughts on this? They generally come in pairs like above. I've seen other SecurityServer logs while managing the server, but the number of them (and ServerEventAgent string) have really jumped up after trying to enable the Adaptive Firewall. I'm not even sure the firewall is working at this point, as running hb_summary tells me there have been 0 blocks in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, before trying to enable the AF, the server was trying to block login bots every few minutes, so I'm not sure everything is hooked-up correctly.
It should be noted that I had some trouble with the second KB article linked above because I had previously tried using IceFloor to manage the new pffirewall. Apparently IceFloor removes some lines from /etc/pf.anchors/com.apple and doesn't put them back when you uninstall the program. I re-added the two missing lines at the end (with Apple's edits):
anchor "400.AdaptiveFirewall/*"
load anchor "400.AdaptiveFirewall" from "/Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/private/etc/pf.anchors/400.AdaptiveFirewall"
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

XML Forms Combobox entries are disappearing after validation error

In my XMLForm I have a combobox which is filled with items from a property. After submitting the form (when saving) with a validation error (e.g. date invalid) the entires in the combobox disappear and the entry can be saved without an entry (can this be permitted?).
Also, when opening the saved entry, the combobox is also empty. I think this is a (unpatched?) KM/XMLForms bug, but maybe there a patch or an other solution for this?
Is it possible the fill the combobox with fixed entries (without using the property)

Duplicate Facebook Birthday Entries In Calendar After Using Device Swap in BB Link

Hello,
I recently swapped a Verizon Z10 for a T-Mobile Z10. After using the BlackBerry Link software to perform the device swap I have 2 entries for each facebook birthday in my calendar. I tried deleting one copy, but the only option in the overflow menu is to share the birthday.
Has anyone else had this issue; and have you resolved it?
