No link in activation email

I am trying to set up my account on iTunes, and having a problem with the activation email. When they send me the email and it says to "Click the link below", there is no link, just "Verify Now >". Is there another way to activate it without email or what?

You've entered [email protected] as the contact email address for your Apple ID. To complete the process, we just need to verify that this email address belongs to you. Simply click the link below and sign in using your Apple ID and password.
https://id.apple.com/cgi-bin/verify.cgi?language=GB-EN&key=YzUxNGE3YzEyZTJhZTU3O WFmNWJmZDZjZTRjMTBjOTE3MzkyYzEyYjM0ODZjYjg5NzdkY2YzNjExMjlmM2VmZmYzNGViYzMzY2NjN mUxZTQyYjhjYWI3MDFkNTRlZDAxZDIxMzlmN2FhMTE2MGI4YTgzYmM0NzkzNzE1ZTMzYzQzZmRkNzkzM mNjNGViMzZhMzA3ZTA2MTAxOTNiY2M4NDEyODc3NGUzMzJlNGRmYTVhODc1Y2I4YWY2MzYxY2IwNTkzN jdkNzEzMmZkZGJkMzQ3Y2QyY2JjNTlhY2ZkYmE=
Wondering why you got this email?
It's sent when someone adds or changes a contact email address for an Apple ID account. If you didn't do this, don't worry. Your email address cannot be used as a contact address for an Apple ID without your verification.

  • Http link to activity or opportunity in the workflow email message

    Hello All,
    I created a custom checkbox in task screen. When new task is created and checkbox is checked send email to the user.
    in email body I would like to include the http link so that when user click on the link directly goto Activity/Task or atleast opportunity.
    Thanks
    Pallavi

    Hi,
    I'm not sure about an Opty link as you are on the Task record for the trigger but try this:
    This is a link to an Opty record on the DSA pod:
    https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/OpportunityDetail?OpptyDetailForm.Id=ABJA-19SNTU
    To reuse this for any other record type or another system do the following:
    Open a record that you want to link to i.e. SR for DSA Demo and you get this URL at the top
    https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/ServiceRequestDetail?ServiceRequestDetailForm.Id=HU15-NT8Q&OMTGT=ServiceRequestDetailForm&OMTHD=ServiceRequestDetailNav&OMRET0=ServiceRequestHomepage&OCTYPE=Other&ocTitleField=Abstract&ocTitle=Send+copy+of+Annual+Report&ocEdit=Y
    As you can see the URL starts the same except it references ServiceRequestDetail instead of Opty detail.
    From the OnDemand screen copy everything from http:// to ServiceRequestDetail? ServiceRequestDetailFormID= and paste it into your workflow email.
    Click the Fx button and add the Row ID.
    Voila you now have a link in an email that will open the record that triggered the workflow.
    cheers

  • How does it usually take to get the activation email after receiving the invoice receipt?

    Hi all. I'm doing the develop enrollment. I received the invoice receipt 3 days ago, which says apple has received my 99 dollars. But I'm still waiting for the activation email. It should take no more than 24 hours to get the activation email, right? if I click "Program enrollment" in this page(https://developer.apple.com/contact/), safari will tell me there are too many redirects and can't open the link. What should I do, please?

    I got my activation e-mail rather quickly; however, something is wrong with my Developer enrollment (I registered as an individual and it says they are trying to verify my identity to see if I can act on my company's behalf--which does not make sense because I registered as an individual).
    Apple has my $99 too and I also am unable to contact them due to the same redirect problem you are facing.
    I am wondering if there is a recent bug on their site that needs to be addressed (seems like it is getting caught in a loop while trying to verify the device and/or browser).  I have posted a question as well so let's hope this gets resolved soon.
    Not a smooth way to start :-/

  • An active email account in Outlook is required to set up iCloud

    I have just installed the iCloud windows desktop tool it can see that i have contacts and calendar enteries in Outlook but doesnt reconsie that i have active email accounts working through outlook.
    I have 3 email accounts running through Outlook 2 that are POP and one that is using the outlook connector for hotmail.
    Any suggestions???

    I don't think it will sync POP accounts. Follow the link in this reply, hopefully that helps.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/16356002#16356002
    My current workaround looks like this:
    Set up GMAIL account(s)
    Forward POP account(s) to GMAIL (and us IMAP)
    Set up Outlook and iPhone to use GMAIL IMAP accounts
    Use iCloud (if I can ever get it to work) to sync calendar and contacts
    I tried Google for calendar and contacts, but the free version only allows one calendar. For contacts, I had to use the business version (not free) and it doesn't play well with iPhone/Outlook cagegories/folders.
    Hope that's helpful.

  • Captcha or activation email?

    I'm building a site where people have to register as members.
    To try and beat the bots, do you think that it's better to
    have a
    captcha on registration form, or should I go the whole hog
    and send out
    some sort of activation email?

    I'd go with the activation email myself. I don't like
    CAPTCHAs; the
    poorly implemented ones tend to look cheesy, and even the
    well-done ones
    can be gotten around. Read the section on Circumvention, and
    the links
    on Defeating CAPTCHAs:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA
    A couple things I've noted:
    - I haven't run into a bot yet which will start a session, or
    which has
    javascript enabled.
    - The number of people who surf with javascript disabled is
    in the 1%
    range.

  • Activation Email Dying Silently

    My problem seems pretty basic.  I'm using the registration wizard and selecting both the "welcome email" and "activation email" options.  The welcome email comes through, but the activation email dies silently.  I'm in debug mode and no errors are generated.  All of the rest of the functionality works, including the redirect on success.  The user is being created in the database and the random key is being generated.  It is just the email that is not being sent.
    At first I thought it might be because my data formats in my database weren't correct, but I saw Guenter's tutorial and set my data formats to be the same as his.  That didn't help.
    I'm using MAMP (and therefore Postfix) on Mac OS X.  I've tried using the PHP 4 and PHP 5 option.  Doesn't seem to matter.
    Any ideas what might be going on?  Any help is appreciated.

    Now we're getting somewhere!
    Okay, so I feel like an idiotic for not checking the spam filter, but (thankfully for my ego) that isn't the problem.
    Based on your other suggestion, I changed the "Body" drop down in the "Main" tab of the Send Email behavior to "Write Content" instead of "Retrieve content from file."  I just put in some dummy text and voila, both the Welcome email and Activation Email sent successfully.  Yeah!  Of course, that doesn't solve the problem yet, but I feel like we're making progress.  Here is the content of the activation email template:
    <html>
    <head>
    <style>
    .heading {border: solid 1px #000000;}
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <h3 class="heading">Account activation.</h3>
    <p>Hello,</p>
    <p>You received this message because you registered to our website. You need to activate your account first, in order to log in to our website.</p>
    <p>Your username is <strong>{kt_login_user}</strong></p>
    <p>To activate your account, click on the following link:<br>
    <a href="{kt_activation_page}" target="_blank">{kt_activation_page}</a></p>
    <p>To log in to our website, click on the following link:<br>
    <a href="{kt_login_page}" target="_blank">{kt_login_page}</a></p>
    <p><strong>Site Owner</strong></p>
    </body>
    </html>
    Again, I haven't changed anything.  This is the default template.  So I decided to try to figure out what in the template was breaking it.  First, I deleted all the variables from the template and the email sent correctly.  I then began testing the variables one by one to see if they were causing a problem.  It turns out the kt_login_page is the problem.  When I remove that, everything works correctly, including the activation link.  I'm now going to try to figure out why that is.
    The login page on my site works fine and is a valid URL.  If worse comes to worse, I can just delete that link.  I really just want them clicking on the activation email at that point any way.

    I lost connection with the persn sold me the device

    Hello elabbady2002
    The only option you have when it comes to Activation Lock is trying to get in contact with the previous owner, as they are the only one that can remove it.
    Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515
    Contact the previous owner and ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:
    Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
    Click All Devices to open a list of devices linked to their account, then select the device to be removed. It should show a gray dot or the word “Offline” next to the device name.
    Click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from their account.
    After the device is removed from the previous owner’s account, turn the device off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button located on the top-right side of the device. Then restart your device and proceed with device setup as you would normally.

  • FLASH Activation email from a non-adobe address?

    I downloaded latest free version of Flash, then received emails from a non adobe address telling me to click on their link to activate the software.  Anyone else getting this?  I am concerned that somehow a third-party is tracking the Flash downloads and asking people to click on links that do anything BUT activate the software.  The emails are from: Flash Player Activation <[email protected]> but no where in the body of the email does it reference Adobe or display an Adobe logo.  The links redirect to https://www.click.icptrack.com/relay.php?****   I have not clicked on the links because I think this is spam but Internet Explorer is still telling me to download the latest Flash version.... anybopdy experience anything similar??

    It's scammers that are targeting FLASH users.  DO NOT CLICK ON THE
    ADDRESS!  You may end up with a virus - or worse.

  • Re-Send Activation Email

    Dear Adobe or Anyone who can help,
    Why did Adobe not create a re-send activation email function? I am not a coder more of a learner and I can not find any information to help with an automated reseponse to when people don't receive their activation email.
    This means I have to delete them from the DB and let them know they can try again.
    This must be such a simple thing to create but no information regarding this to help.
    As there is already a Forgot Password there must be a simple way to create a Not got/received Activation Email to re-send it again.
    Someone PLEASE help...................................
    Cheers,
    Joe

    This is not a trivial function; there's several steps to take.
    At registration, you have to check to make sure the confirmation email was
    sent; if not, you have to delete the database entry for that registrant so
    he can try again.
    If the registrant needs another confirmation email, you have to check to see
    if he has even registered; if not, provide a link to the registration page.
    If he has registered and confirmed, you have to provide a link to the LOST
    PASSWORD function.
    If he has registered and not confirmed, then and only then do you send him
    another activation/confirmation email.

  • Help Activation Email (Resend The Email)

    Hi All,
    I hope someone can help, I am having problems with people not been able to activate their account as email may have gone to spammail and deleted.
    I am having to delete people from the database directly to accommodate their request to become a member.
    Is there a way to create a "re-send activation email" just like the forgot password?
    Can anyone detail how to do this or if there is a script anywhere please let me know where I can get it....
    Please, Please can someone help!!!!!!!!!
    Cheers,
    Joe

    Hi Laurence,
    Thats great after a little more playing around and configering everything I got it to work.
    A little different from yours but based on mainly the same details and I tested it and it works!!!
    I think we should give our selves a pat on the back.
    So here its how it's done everyone. Follow these steps
    1. Set up a dynamic list/ recordset from the user registration ( or what ever you called it)table
    2. Create a filter of the (EmailAddress in table to = "Form Variable" EmailAddress entered in the form on the webpage to update.
    Set up an update form with basic details displayed as text (I.e. only the email address)
    Change the button name to send activation email or whatever takes your fancy and add a send email from recordset trigger.
    in the message box add something like this:
    <p>Your username is <strong>{username_member}</strong></p>
    <p>To activate your account, click on the following link:<br>
    <a href="http://yoursite.com.au/activate.php?{rsReActivateEmail.EmailAddres}=kt_login_id={rs ReActivateEmail.id_user}&kt_login_random={rsReActivateEmail.random}"
    target="_blank">http://yoursite.com.au/activate.php?{rsReActivateEmail.EmailAddres}=kt_log in_id={rsReActivateEmail.id_user}&kt_login_random={rsReActivateEmail.random}</a></p>
    Breakdown for non coder ("Like Me, but learing fast")
    rsReActivateEmail.EmailAddres ='s the email address in table
    that then ='s kt_login_id which ='s the users uniqu ID (i.e id_user = 155)
    rsReActivateEmail.id_user = id_user from recordset where EmailAddress ='s ID_USER
    and
    kt_login_random ={rsReActivateEmail.random (from recordset)
    BingBashBosh your done..................
    When you click on the send activation email it will send an email to the user with a link to activate their account.
    I feel like a million pounds and that I may have helped many people who have had this irriating problem.
    I have to give much credit to Laurence as I would not have come across how to put it all together without his advise.
    A big thankyou to Laurence cheers pal if I thought you were in the UK I would buy you a pint in the pub.
    Cheers,
    Joe

  • Account activation email

    Is there an explanation on the internet about the process of
    sending an account activation email once a user has submitted their
    account creation data? I have the basic idea, but, what like to see
    what a professional does to implement this process using
    coldfusion. Broad explanation would suffice, play by play would
    make my day!:) Thanks so much in advance! Dan

    Basically, the steps are these:
    1. The form should have a unique user identifier, such as an
    e-mail address or SSN.
    2. The user completes the form and clicks "Submit".
    3. Either client-side (JavaScript) or server-side
    (ColdFusion) validates the form.
    4. If the form is valid and the user has not already
    registered, update the database with the user's information
    5. The update should contain a unique value, such as an
    auto-id.
    6. An e-mail is sent to the user that contains a link to a
    login page at the site and the unique id value.
    7. The user clicks the link in the e-mail, enters the unique
    id into the login form and clicks "Submit".
    8. The record containing the unique id is retrieved from the
    database.
    9. The user now has the run of the site.

  • Activation email to use E-print on IPOD

    Hi
    Just got a cp1525nw and wanted to install E-print app on an IPOD.
    Installed the E-print app but to use it over the web I need to activate the app.
    I type in my email and then wait for the activation email that never arrives.
    I have tried different emails but still no activation email.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    cadillact,
    The "ePrint app" is not the same as the ePrint you are trying to use on your LaserJet. I understand this can be confusing, hopefully I can clarify for you.
    First off, the ePrint app is designed to find public printers located nearby. For example, a FedEx Kinkos may be a few miles away from you and you need to print something quickly and pick it up while you are in town.
    Now, about ePrint on your LaserJet.
    The first step is to have an ePrint capable printer that is connected to an active network connection. A complete list of ePrint Printers can be found by clicking this link.
    Next, you have to enable Web Services from the front panel of your device. Once this is done, it will print out a report with an email address that has been assigned specifically to your printer.
    Next, head over to the HP ePrintCenter and set up an account.
    Now, all you have to do is send an email to the address that was provided when you first enabled Web Services and you are using ePrint. No app is required. This will work from any internet connected device that supports sending emails. If you have any further questions, you can always check out the documentation located on the HP ePrintCenter Help website.

    If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

  • Activation Email Problem

    I have finally got the emails working and the registration page working, but now I have another problem. When I open the activation email, and click on the link it goes to page not found. When I hit the back button and try again I get an error stating that it has already been activated. Why isnt the page found in the first place, and how can I can fix this? By the way, the activation page is loaded on to the server.
    If anybody can help this would be great, and I thank you in advance.

    Check the link in the email.
    I've had this happen when the server was slow getting a response - try it again, it might work next time, it did for me.

  • When I click on a link in an email (I use Thunderbord) it no longer opens a tab in Firefox for that web page. This started about the time I installed FF v.4. Any ideas?

    I've done some looking but have not found anything about this problem.
    More details --, if I get an email (Thunderbird, latest version) that has a link in it, it will be highlighted but now when you click on it to go to that web page or site nothing happens. I've looked through HELP and tried various option settings and also thought it might have something to do with an add-on but I have not found any way to turn this feature back on -- that is, be able to click on the link in the email and open that web page.
    I can copy the link location and paste it in the navigation tool bar and go there, it's just another step.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks ---

    I seem to have solved my own problem. When I disabled the add-on "Tab Renamizer" everything started working fine.
