Paper free discount was withdrawn in september, however i think exisiting customers who had the discount will keep this unless they move back to paper then they lose it and will not have the option of getting this back if they decide to switch back to paper free.

As well as the price increases BT are are withdrawing the paper-free discount.
    "Changing our prices
We are withdrawing the paper-free discount from 3 December 2011. Anyone who was on our paper-free discount could benefit from our Line Rental Saver payment option for line rental that reduces line rental from £14.60 per month to £10 per month. This payment option is available only on e-billing and you can find out more here."

  • Line saver loss of paper free discount

Am happy to get a discount on my line rental by paying up front but cannot understand why I have to loose the paperfree billing discount. I will still be getting a bill for calls so are BT now going to post this out to me? Seems rather senseless

I too took up this line saver offer. And had selected paper free billing. Mainly because the posties round these parts can't read and put my mail in other peoples letterboxes. With similar addresses.
I suspect you will continue to be paper free.
I also suspect this (removal of unconnected discount) is a ruse by BT to reduce the actual  discount so they can continue to advertise a discount of Y when it is really X. X being less than Y of course.
By the way I noticed (eventually) that my last phone bill was not collected by direct debit and was told by BT this was because the upfront line saver payment exceeded my phone bill.
This caused me a problem trying to reconcile my bank balance with some financial software on my PC.
    Weird or what?
    Hope this is constructive.

  • Discount Groups - Items.  How to get the Buy One Get One Free discount in the Marketing Document

    Hi Experts,
Can anyone help on this one please?...
Under Stock Management -> Price Lists -> Special Prices -> Discount Groups -> Items -> I have selected a specific BP and then have selected a specific Item Code.  I have stated the Paid Qty as '4' and the Free Qty as '1'.
The option 'Do Not Apply Discount Groups' is not ticked on the BP or the Item Master Data.
There are no Special Prices for this Item for the BP.  Nor are there any period and volume discounts.
Can anyone think of a reason why in the Sales Order I can never get the discount when putting in '3' in the Qty column on the SO please?
    Many thanks,
    Caroline

    Hi Gordon,
Thanks for your email, and sorry for the confusion!
I believe that when I enter '5' into the sales order the discount should come up as the Paid Qty is '4' and the Free Qty is '1'.
Either way I can never get the discount into the Sales Order...
Can you help please?  I was wondering if I had missed a setting somewhere or something...
    Thanks,
    Caroline

  • Veterans are no longer getting a discount

I am very disappointed to find out that US Veterans are no longer getting a discount on our service plans.  I can not believe that this is just another company who is no longer helping their veterans.

The point is BEYOND the "employee" part of the discount.  The discount should be extended for years of loyalty. For telling friends and coworkers about Verizon and what a great company it is and give a wholehearted personal recommendation. Word of mouth recommendations are worth far more to me that a company ad on TV. I expect it's that way for most people.  But that won't happen if the company ignores the loyalty of it's customers and treats them in such a shabby fashion.
" . . . as it is neither an "ethical" or "slippery contract" issue.
The fact is that people are surprised the discount is not part of the contact. Shouldn't the contract be more clear concerning this?  It seems that little detail doesn't get mentioned enough.  Let's go to the definition of ethical: "Being in accordance with the accepted principles of right and wrong that govern the conduct of a profession. So is it ethically wrong to reward loyalty?
"Not sure why you would think I would be "that angry rschnoor"
    This is why . . .
"If you read thru enough threads on this forum, you will see many instances where I criticize Verizon's policies. I have no problem showing my disdain for Verizon if the circumstances deserve it. "  Evidently the circumstances concerning loyalty in this discussion doesn't mean a thing to you.    Perhaps you could point out the discussions where you took Verizon to the woodshed by showing your disdain.  Or to save time, tell me exactly which of Verizon policies you are in disagreement with?
rcschnoor      Is the concept of company/consumer loyalty completely offensive to you?

  • Line Saver Rental and Paper-free billing discount

The Line rental saver conditions state that that, if you sign up, the discount for paper-free billing will stop.
Can you tell me if the paper-free billing discount will be reinstated if I revert to monthly line rental when the line saver contract period ends ?
    Thanks

    Hi Mw9,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. If you re-sign for the Line Rental Saver option after the initial 12 months you'll be saving even more. If you want to discuss specific details of your account drop me an email to [email protected] and I'll be happy to help.

  • Line Saver Rental v. Paper Free Billing

    Hi
I'm trying to weigh up the benefits / pitfalls of going for the 'Line Saver Rental' deal and paying £120 up front which would result in a monthly equivalent of £10.
However, I currently have 'Paper Free' billing which gives me a discount of £3.75 / month.
I note that if I opt for 'LSR' it will result in the removal of the 'PF' discount.  That would mean an effective monthly line rental of £13.90 less £3.75 = £10.15.
I appreciate that the line rental is being increased from £13.90 to £14.60 from 3/12/11, but based on current prices, is it really worth paying £120 up front for a yearly saving of £1.80??
Assuming that the 'PF' discount is not increased on 3/12, the saving would still only amount to some £10.20 over the year (new monthly rental of £14.60)!
    Thoughts anyone?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I opted to sat with the PF biling discount as I think it is better valie and because that £120 can earn some interest for me rather than being passed to BT - and who knows how long the annual offer will last?
However I feel duty bound to point out at the monthly PF discount is £1.25 and only comes to £3.75 on the quarterly bill.
So after December the 3rd the discounted monhly price is actually £13.35
So it is saving of £3.35 a month or £40 a year.

  • How to set up 'buy one get one free' modifier in Advanced Pricing?

I am able to setup a promotional goods modifier and give the quantity of the promotional item as 1 and discount as 100%, but this works only of the quantity ordered for the primary item is 1. If the ordered quantity is 'n' (say 10), then the discount becomes 'buy n (10) get one free'.
Does anyone know a solution to this?
    Thanks.

Photos and/or videos in your iPhone's Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book application on your computer. If you aren't doing this and don't do this with your iPhone 4 that is being exchanged and you set up your replacement iPhone 4 as a new iPhone, your contacts will be lost.
With Windows, this can be with Outlook 2003 0r 2007 along with syncing calendar events, or with the address book application used by Outlook Express with XP, or with Windows Mail under Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If you don't use Windows Contacts for storing contacts on your computer - the address book is empty, before the first sync for this data enter one contact in Windows Contacts. Make this contact up if needed, which can be deleted later. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select. Do this with your existing iPhone 4.
When you first connect your replacement iPhone 4 to iTunes and select set up as a new iPhone, select sync contacts with Windows Contacts under the Info tab for the iPhone sync preferences. With the first sync, all contacts in Windows Contacts will be transferred to your iPhone and will be kept synced with Windows Contacts with future syncs.

    Hi Veroku_Chan,
It’s not too often that Best Buy runs a buy one, get one free promotion on video games and I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the announcement. However, I immediately questioned how long these games would be available considering they included some pretty fantastic titles. From what it sounds based on your feedback, this is certainly a “get them while you can” type of scenario!
To answer your main question, this promotion applies both on BestBuy.com, as well as in select Best Buy stores. If you find any of the games included in the promotion at a Best Buy location, you should be able to take advantage of the promotion. Please click here for a list of the included games, as well as further details about the promotion itself.
Thanks for posting and please let us know if you have any further questions! As a fellow gamer, I hope that you’re able to take advantage of this promotion before it’s over.

  • What does it take to get a military discount...

Okay, I went ahead and changed my plan to, surprisingly, a reduced price.  Had to call in to get it, since the website suggested I take the great deal of nothing much extra except the $20 increase in my monthly charge.  I was on the site trying to figure out how to REDUCE the charge!!  Anyway, a customer service rep helped me out by phone and I am happy with that.  Didn't need unlimited data anyway, but got 500MB which is good for my wife and I.  Don't need unlimited voice and SMS either, but this ended up being the cheapest (wouldn't mind a smaller, less costly Share All package...)
Now I am trying to get the military discount as a retired army type person.  I went to the nearest Verizon with my DD214 and ID card, was greeted a the door and put on a waiting list.3 hours later I was still number 3.  I don't have time for that.
So I went home and tired on line.  Verizon doesn't make it easy for a retired military person to get the discount.  The discount page, which mentions the discount, is set up for corporate discounts.  So I put in the information asked for along with my AKO email address.  Got a message with a link that didn't work.  So I call to customer service.
The guy I talked to had me go through the whole process again, even though I repeatedly told him that this pathway was the exact same dead end.  He "knowingly" told me to keep going.  Well, guess what happened.  "Surprisingly" I got a message with a link that didn't work.
He directed me to another link that asked for a pay stub.  SUPPOSEDLY a DD 214 was good enough to get my discount!!!  I asked about that and he told me I needed a pay stub.  I know better, or at least I think I do.  Anyway, I uploaded by DD 214 instead.
Now I have been told that my PAY STUB was not valid for a discount.  My next question is pretty simple...  Did ANYONE READ the document?  Next question...  WHAT are the requirements?  IS A DD 214 SUFFICIENT?  According to the lady at the store it IS.
Is there any page on the Verizon discount webpage maze where I can submit a DD 214 to a PERSON who will read it?
Would it be possible for a webmaster to simplify the maze for military discounts?
I am doing all this in an attempt to get Verizon down to an acceptable cost level.  I am already looking elsewhere and doing the math and if I don't get this discount I will be heading to another carrier.
5 year customer, shaky on year 6

        Hey there alfromcolorado,
I want to start off by thanking you for your continued support to our country. Verizon Wireless and I appreciate all that you and your fellow service men and women do. Keep up the great work. I absolutely want to make sure that you are receiving the proper discounts.
The DD 214 is a valid document and I apologize that you have had some troubles uploading it. If the website is giving you issues I would recommend taking your DD 214 into one of our corporate store locations. I know that 3 hours is a long time to wait, but I can assure you that is not the normal wait time at a store location. Visit http://bit.ly/3SdsA to find the closest store location to you.
I am confident that we can get your discount added and continue our relationship for years to come. Thanks again for all that you do.
